Some constructive feedback. Everything you touched in the video could be found in sales brochures. I would have liked to have heard more candid information from testing such as. Which beds were built better, did some feel more solid. Did any have creeks and other noises getting in and out or moving around. Were the lift mechanism slower, smoother nosier then others and Vice versa. What other observations did you have when testing them?
EXACTLY!
I just bought an adjustable at Sams club for $499. With zero gravity, massagers, usb, pillow and foot tilt and anti snore
Wich one is it
This is a tough one because ALL bases for ALL brands are made by a handful of companies - two or three. The motor and mechanics are all similiar. It's the remote that comes with the bells and whistles (as well as the plug ins, lights, etc.). So make a decision with that in mind. THIS IS IMPORTANT: many will come with a added warranty - especially when bought in a retail store. They can last for TEN years - with all parts either replaced or fixed for free. At a minimal cost (sometimes a $150) it is one extra worth purchasing.
I just bought the Avocado adjustable base for my mom... looking forward to how she likes it. It's not refundable, but it has a similar warranty. The remote is really nice though.
This was the best review of these adjustable bases I've watched. I appreciate the explanation of the features & the straight-to-the-point review of each bed. I skipped the first two sections and started watching the review of each base.
I've always wanted to get an adjustable base, however all I hear about are from companies that likely have old designed bases. This video is refreshing because I'm able to view other companies that I didn't know offered adjustable bases.
The TempurPedic looks amazing!
Of this list, I would like the Lucid! I appreciate simplicity.
I think I would go with the TempurPedic because if I’m already spending a lot of money for their mattress might as well also get the base
From the list i Love the TempurPedic Ergo-Extend most.
I never considered an adjustable base before! But from this list, the ergo-extend seems like itll fit me
The Purple adjustable base. I got a chance to test it out at a local mattress store and it was pretty amazing.
Thanks for sharing Daniel! We appreciate your support!
I can't really answer your giveaway question right now because I'm not in the market, at all, for an adjustable bed. I'll definitely keep this, and future, videos in mind if I'm ever in the market for one. At that point I'd consider price, specific needs, and the mattress itself in my decision. Good review!
Out of this list, I would pick the Dreamcloud, the Messager function sounds great
I think the dream cloud it’s a sweet spot between price and features, thank you !
A good review is very beneficial for a customer...Thanks for a good review
Thank you. This was very informative. My 83 year old mother has been sleeping sitting up on a sofa for years because of orthopnea and medical conditions. I have only dreamed of purchasing an adjustable bed and needed as much info as possible. Thank you. I would love to get one for myself as well.
I have been doing a lot of research lately on adjustable beds and found out medicare will pay for an adjustable bed if a doctor prescribed it. That may be an avenue to look into for your mom.
I wanted to bring up an issue that I read on adjustable bases reviews from different mattress companies. The massage feature can become a pain when the bed is going to be on the second floor. When they turn on the massage the second floor vibrates too. For my especific conditions that would be a problem because I don't want to wake up the rest of the people sleeping either below my bedroom or on the aecond floor. I guess depending on your house's foundation and being on the first floor the massage feature can be really nice.
Thanks Owen! Any of the bases sounds pretty good? I don’t own one but would really like one? Given a choice and unlimited funds I’d choose the the Ergo Extend. However realistically I will likely settle a more moderately priced feature rich base.
Just got a Sealy mattress hybrid and a mattress firm adjustable base and I’m pleased. Less then $1000 for mattress (Queen), mattress protector, sheet set and pillow with free shipping next day along with $50 off because why not 😂
I'd choose the Layla. Lots of features but not as expensive as the tempur pedic model. You peaked my interest at snore detector lol
Which adjustable bases have the most clearance underneath so you can use the space for storage and get a mop or vacuum under it for cleaning the floor?
Thanks Owen, I am planning on getting one. I do store alot which would be the best one to get?
Echoing some comments here, if I was in the price range for it, I would absolutely get the Tempurpedic base. It looks fantastic.
Use their credit. You get 5 years with minimum payment: INTEREST FREE.
Good information for thought on purchase.
I just bought Brooklyn bedding Aurora king mattress… looking for a base. They don’t offer return on their base, so I’m looking elsewhere. Thank you for this review.
Omg I have been watching all ur videos non stop ty so much for all ur hard work n research 🧐 I truly appreciate it and for the giveaway my favorite would be the tempopedic ergo smart base and a dream cloud mattress
Can you please review the bedjet power layer? That’s the only base I’ve found that sets on top of the bed but there are no reviews
is the purple adjustable base in this review different from the one that the link directs us too? i dont see any mention of the massage on the website. Though i did do some research and found that the one that does have that feature is sold in mattress stores and costs about 600 dollars more.
Can any of these fit on a regular frame with side rails and head/footboard? In other words, can any be used or set up to replace a traditional box spring on a queen size bed?
I would go with the Tempurpedic.
I have a Beauty rest candace luxury firm (in excellent condition) & I am wondering if it can be used with an adjustable base.
The only description I can find for it is a ‘tight top spring core medium mattress’. Any help is appreciated
If I was to choose one I think I would like the Purple power base.
I'm impressed
What an interesting thing. Did this invention come from hospital beds? I would pick Layla. Seems to have all the functions needed.
Looking for a Cali King and saw the iDealbed 4i on Amazon for 1200. There is also an Irvine Home Collection base for 800. Heard anything on these models?
Do these adjustable bases emit strong amounts of EMF?
Love this
As the Dreamcloud is a wishlist mattress, I'd be very interested in the adjustable frame. Im very interested to know if the frame effects the longevity of a mattress as it flexes in different areas. Great information!
I bought the most expensive Dreamcloud and I also bought the “BEST” adjustable base. WELL….I,ve had to have a new base sent out due to USB ports overheating now….. I’m in the process of try to get a refund on the mattress. The t365 night ( mattress only )trial Is what made me try them. The base only has a 50 night trial.
Can any of these fit on a platform bed? That has wooden slats already?
We bought one that once you press the foot, the head elevates too...Are all like that?
I would choose the Layla model because it has a lot of features like voice control
I would like to know how quiet the Layla adjustable base plus is? (I don't want to wake my husband if I adjust my side.)
I would definitely get the purple base if I had the money.
The Purple with a massager, yeah I'll take it.
Do you need a bed frame to go with an adjustable bed base if you don’t need a headboard?
I need a bed that nearly sits all the way up cuz of a bad neck. Is there any that will do a 90 degree angle?
Can you review the swen and son platinum series adjustable base please 🙏
On the website it says that it has 30 nights trial, 10 to 20 years warranty, lumbar support, pillow tilt, wall hugging feature, 75° head tilt, 45° leg tilt, app control along with wireless remote, under bed lighting, flashlight on remote, massage, zero gravity, anti snore features.
And it is only $1395 for queen !
I would probably pick the purple one but since I sleep on my side and do not do any thing in bed other then sleep I would not need any of these.
You didn't mention the wall hugger function which I think is important. Otherwise your side table becomes unreachable.
exhausting looking for a video that shows a mattress on the frame with the pillow tilt feature (if it was good feature, why is it so difficult to see an actual demonstration. its always a frame with no mattress or an animation. pls post a link of a video of a person demonstrating the pillow tilt (pls not another animation or frame without mattress.) you would think demonstrating features that you eventually show the pillow tilt... and then only show the frame? ... does it deform or ruin the mattress?
Is there a certain time of year to find deals with Tempur-pedic? Thanks for the quality videos...
Thanks for watching! Yes, around major holidays they typically offer discounts!
Are you guys affiliated with the Slumber Yard?
The Lucid, the most simple and affordable !
8:41 Lucid is my pick from the list. I spend lots of time in my room. I would differently use all the features.
I love mine. I leave the feet and head up some. I don't really need bigger sheets if you have the True Fit SERIOUS elastic.
Best part is the dog. She lies on the slope like a mountain goat! It's hilarious.
What about labatt n platt bases
Which are the most.. sturdy?
I would choose the lucid base because of its affordability
I'm a sucker for smart home features like the ones that Tempurpedic provides. Personally, I consider this to be a luxury item and would go with the Tempurpedic lineup. How can you beat automatic snore control? On a side note, please keep in mind that the Purple Power Base is not built by Purple. The last time I checked they had a partnership with a third party to build the bases with Purples logo and customers were directed to their partner with issues related to the Power Base itself. I can't speak for the craftmanship of the Power Base since I don't own one, but it might be worth keeping in mind should you need any help down the road.
We carry all the hard to find sizes (Split Queen, Split top) at Beverly Hills Bed
Reply
I got mine at mattress firm I only paid $299,, but only the head goes up, and it's not wireless
Do you guys still feel the same or are you going to do an updated list for 2023?
What the hell just happened to me I just watched a video from slumber yard about adjustable bases and everything was exactly the same from the intro to the mattresses and their places and even the breaks in between the choices.
Giveaway: I currently have the Temperpedic Ergo adjustable base. I'm happy with it and would choose it again.
I would choose the Purple. I have a Sven and Son adjustable base that I bought off Amazon. I love it!!! It has all the features these bases have plus a lumbar support.
Hows it holding up? I can find literally no info on sven and son products.
@@deuceyd8468 It works great. Not a thing to complain about.
can you please share the amazon link ?
Giveaway I would choose the Layla plus model because it has voice control which would be convenient.
Giveaway: Automatic snore detector? Yes, please! I would definitely prefer the Ergo-Extend.
Okay I'm ordering my bed frame from Wayfair and I would like to know what type of phone mattress Will Go On It I'm trying to find me a mattress in a box
Never heard of a phone mattress!! Can you make phone calls while you sleep?
I chose the Dreamcloud. Got it in a full size. Tried to talk my husband into atleast a queen, but he didn't want to. I have back problems that will eventually put me in a wheelchair and he has a bad back too. But He won't listen.
You forgot the most important and best adjustable bed NECTAR, 50% off now for 750$ (queen )
Giveaway: I have never thought about getting an adjustable base but I think I’d choose the purple base for the massage features and remote dock.
Giveaway: I would choose the lucid base, I prefer something simple to set up and to use, plus it’s affordable
Purple
Giveaway: I would choose the adjustable Lucid Base because it is more affordable and does the basics and it would probably help sleeping upwards for me because I do have sleep apena
Giveaway,I would chose the purple from the list.
Purple is great. They actually just came out with a new base. Thanks for watching Angela!
Lucid wins for me because of its value proposition
** Sorry Folks... this guy DOESN'T doesn't know what he's talking about. All power bases are bedstead friendly... in other words, you can use them with a headboard. footboard and side rails... and most brands have a headboard bracket. Or, u can mount the headboard to the wall.
** Then he said there lack of storage under the base... also wrong. There's usually plenty of storage.
Didn't mention Leggett & Platt...
Giveaway: I would choose the Layla plus model because it has a message which sounds really cool.
Giveaway: Assuming I had the funds for this luxury item, I'd start with the affordable Lucid brand. That way I could see how well this type of device served my needs, before committing to a more expensive one. Though, I'll review the Warranty and Returns policies and see if stepping into a returnable brand might be worth the extra initial outlay.
I would love the dream cloud mattress so would take that base maybe a bundle
Not worth it
Giveaway: I would choose the purple for sure.
Giveaway would go with the lucid if I had extra money
Tempo Ergo Extend sounds as if it has all the bells and whistles to keep you in bed or wish you were there. Nothing else would get done. Out of price range though
Giveaway: would love the purple Power base 💜
Giveaway: Layla.. Mine on order now!
Weight limits/ capacity? This is important....
Realistically - I would never buy an adjustable bed. If money wasn't an issue, I suppose I'd prefer the Layla option.
Giveaway: I’d choose the Purple adjustable base because of the stronger massagers.
Nothing beats original sealy sorry these cheap beds my sealy I feel like I'm floating the old school one but expensive
Giveway: I would love to get the purple base in tribute to Thanos :)
Giveaway: I would go with the Lucid due to budget.
Giveaway: I would choose the Layla adjustable base.
Too much talking , and too little demo !!!!
we need someone that can speak slowlier and mire clearly !!!!!
Why do you need to soeak that fast ????????????????????
This is not a true review. You just speak of options and not reliability or customer satisfaction. Smoke and mirrors as usual.
