When I ordered mine, a while back, I went for the soft bed and the ergo base. But because they apparently ran out of stock of both, I got upgraded to the soft "premium" bed and the ergo "extend" base. You've no idea how happy I was. :) I'm so happy with the 4 massage motors instead of the two that I was already excited for. 😆
The pillow tilt feature is something I would have never thought of but I know I would love it.
Thank you for all of your reviews. I have been looking for a new bed and the research you and your team has been very helpful!
Appreciate the review, this is my first bed purchase as well as adjustable base purchase and I went with the Ergo just because I knew that the Ergo Extend had features that I potentially didn’t care about like you mentioned and it looks like I made a good choice! I also went with the Tempur-pedic Hybrid King mattress and an additional bed frame around the base. Can’t wait to test it out when it arrives in 3 to 6 weeks because of COVID LOL
This reminds me. I need to start looking at bases. Thanks for posting.
Yes to the Ergo. I need that massager in my life for those extra stressful days in retail. Did you just reference “Pimp my Ride”. 😂 Great review Jeff!!!
Sooooo the 4 zone massage is stronger than 2 zone cause it has more motors. The massage has an automatic timer of 30 minutes. The Ergo extend has the perfect seat feature. It articulates completely different than the ergo. It pulls apart the middle as it moves up. This creates a ‘bucket seat’ type feature that is more ergonomical than the typical way the ergo, ease and every other base moves.
Had not thought about an adjustable frame, till now....when in the hospital, I really love being able to raise my head and feet......so.....now I just may look further into getting one once I decide on which mattress...thanks for the review
i always wanted to try an adjustable base! great review!
Nicely presented. So much more professionally than most.
He gave great advice and confirmed me purchasing the ergo which is the one I was thinking about getting. I also agreed with his suggestions.
New background I like it very soft. I like adjustable bases it’s nice to sit up in bed while reading or watching TV and still be comfortable.
The underbed light is great for bathroom trips or when my husband is sleeping and I come in at 2am due to my delayed sleep phase circadian sleep disorder. I have no clue how the super expensive bases differ from the store brand I got three years ago, but my heads sinks a tad lower than the rest of the base now. 😮😡 (maybe he kids jumping on the bed??)I had broken down Chewy boxes under my mattress to level it out. Love the zero gravity for sciatic flare ups and post op recuperation. It's also supposed to be good for intimacy 😜.
It cleared all the question that I have in my mind before buying the adj. base .. thank you so muchhhh wonderful information
I love your review. I purchased the Tempur-pedic ergo and love it…
Very nice review . Don’t know if it’s the same type of frame base but I just got one that has s sound scape mode I haven’t receive the it but I’m very excited.
You were excellent doing the review . Thank you
Thanks for the review, that Ergo or Extend sound like good choices.
Very helpful review, thanks! Could you comment on the noise level the motors, and differences in loudness, if any?
Now that’s white glove delivery 😂😂 love those gloves! Never really thought I need one of these. But I feel like I need one now! It’s not always what looks the best it’s about what more comfortable!
Nice review. I have an adjustable bed frame by Reviere or something like that, very similar to Tempur-Pedic. It works great.
Love when you go outside just mattress reviews
I love this review and guess if i was going to put the money out for an adjustable frame i would go for the best one and choose the Ergo extend :)
Just bought one. Helpful review - thanks!
Which one did you get and what are your thoughts on it?
You should read for audible , your voice is so soothing
Another great video by Jeff this channel is a masterpiece
Thank you for the kind words!
hey great review...very helpful! thank you!
Hey slumber yard I love all your videos! I recently purchased a adjustable Base from Lucid and had to return it because there are so many exposed wires and electrical parts underneath the bed. Can you tell me what/ if any of these frames have the wires covered? (outside of the main power adapter obviously) Thank you.
Thanks for the reviews!
I am just starting to look for an adj bed frame and mattress queen size bed. Thanks to You Tube videos like yours i have a good place to start to self educate myself before i go to any stores to look at any. I must admit i am overwhelmed by how many different mfgs there are for both the beds./frames and the mattresses. I look at videos discussing the best or top 5 or 10 beds and no two reviewers are alike. If you buy bed frame and a mattress from the same seller do they typically ship and set them up for you, or are you pretty much on your own? I am very old and not sure i can wrestle a large mattress anymore! Good video. Thanks.
Great review. Thanks!
Thank you for explaining the features of this bed. I'm in the market to buy.
Great comparison video 👍🏾👍🏾
I’m torn between this one but the new smart ergo or the purple bed frame.. you said the purple has best massage how does this one compare to the massager on the purple base? Please advise?
I am curious why you didn't mention anything about the smart base features or about the sleep tracker that comes with the base?
Love the idea of an adjustable bed, never tried one
Great review. Would the these adjustable bases it into an existing bed frame that includes a head board, foot board and sides? Thanks.
Great video! I agree for the price your paying companies could include a few more buttons on remote pus a stand
Excellent to the point information. Thank you.
I've never had an adjustable frame- let alone money for a mattress lol. If I were to go for one- I would probably be swayed to the Ergo!
Is the bottom part of the Ease 2.0 (i.e. the part that doesn't move) ... is that also wrapped? If you look online it looks like the pictures show that only the ERGO EXTEND is like that and the rest of them have the metal exposed
Also letting you know I have the purple 4 Matress don’t know if that changes anything or not. Thanks again guys! (Got purple from yalls reviews)
Great Video as always!
Does this adjustable frame take up any more room than the size of the bed itself? My bed is already in tight quarters so I was wondering if more space would be needed when in use
Very fancy! It is nice that they offer a few versions. Expensive though.
You guys are the best. I'm thinking the temperpedic is just too expensive. Most others offer an adjustable base as well if I decide I really need that?!
Thanks for the information and for pointing out that the usb plugs are under the base as opposed to the side of the base.
Downside to USB plugs being under the base is then you cannot see them to plug your charging cord into. You’d have to do it by feel. That would annoy me.
What about a wall hugger so you can still reach your end table?
I just bought one of these! Getting it tomorrow!
Are you happy with your purchase?
Please update. Thank you.
Great presentation,Thanks for information.
I am buying the ergo and the 3.0 tomorrow at Ashley. Just bought the Lux Breeze Soft. What a treat after sleeping on a 18 1/2 year old Temperpedic that still pretty solid. I think I can get another 8-10 years out of that thing in the guest room. If you only want to spend your money one time go with a Temperpedic and treat yourself to the adjustable base.
I definitely need an adjustable base so I can force myself to stop sleeping on my stomach
I got Tempure on a massive sale here in Melbourne Australia. I sleep so well now and I felt like I already lost weight.
Great Review! I just got this for 800 bucks!
very informative. I fell asleep on a tempur-pedic today in Ashley's furniture store
Great job. Love the reviews. Doesn't hurt that you're not hard on the eyes either.
Is the surface solid? Can I just place a tempa pedic mattress topper on it and skip the matress? I been sleeping on just the matress topper it's been fine.
I already have the tempurpedic mattress. Will the Sealy adjustable base work with the tempurpedic mattress?
This was really helpful. Thanks so much! I'm ready to upgrade my life!
Curious if any of the options tilt in a way that you remain in line with your nightstand? Seems like most tilt forward as opposed to tilting, yet scooting up the headboard so you don’t lose the nightstand. Hopefully someone has an answer. Thanks
My wife and I just bought our first tempur pedic (pro adapt firm split king) paired with the ergo base. It's only been a week but I don't think I've had a better nights sleep than what I'm getting now.
Do you use a king sheet or twin sheets? We are trying decide on a split or not.
@@candimccullough1702 twin xl for split king
Really nice adjustable bed frame with a lot of bells and whistles. I think the child-lock would sway me to TempurPedic's over Bear's.
Thanks for the review. Seems really nice, but it's expensive. I still think the Nectar/Dreamcloud adjustable base is the best bang for your buck. You also get a trial period, which is unique for an adjustable bed frame.
Hi, what is the max angle for the head?
Would you recommend this base with the Purple® Hybrid Premier?
I can't keep fitted sheets on the adjustable bed. Every time you raise the head of the bed they corners come off.
How night the head part lifts?
How tall is with the legs fully extended?
Wifes been wanting an adjustable base. I have a hiatal hernia and have been thinking about it too. Options .
You guys really try everything
Awesome video!
Does the base fold in half for moving?
Have you considered a review on Reverie bases? I'd like to know what you think of their line.
Awesome review. I actually sell those I work for Ashley home store in New Jersey. Just wanted to comment about the Velcro strip. The reason Tempur-pedic doesn’t want to use that Velcro strip is because they don’t want unnecessary “stress” to the mattress. Mathematically, it lasts longer. For those who don’t know, NASA invented temper/memory foam material.
Shout out from a fellow Ashley employee 💪🏽💪🏽
Never buy one from Ashley as they did a bait and switch on us without knowing. Ended up delivery us an Ashley base instead and now have problems with it. Found out that we never received the TempurPedic / Sealy that we originally ordered and they don't want to work with getting us what we actually purchased. Unethical business.
Can you recommend the nicest looking adjustable base?
Adjustable base is the move. Never will I ever not have one. Just to watch TV in bed (comfortably ) is a wonderful perk, not to mention the health benefits
Excellent review.. I went with the ease model as it was on special saved $200.. I will find out in the morning if it was money well spent.
So what do you think? I bought one yesterday (probably the same sale) and it gets here tomorrow.
@@saucers79 I brought it for my mother because the hospital bed she recieved from hospice was a little uncomfortable.. so far no complaints about her new bed.
Great review
thinking about buying one soon
Wait so does the bedframe came with the bed or is it just the mattress
They have full adjustable beds right?
will a normal old style mattress work on these bed frames ?
Thanks!
How to obtain shorter legs for my king tempur pedic adjustable base? Was given 9inch legs and just too tall.. 1/2 coarse thread #13..
can’t seem to locate the interchangeable legs..
people need to be ware of this issue..
Isn’t it interesting that in 2021, two years after this review many of the same matters you discuss such as a rising mattress in the footbed continue to be at issue today? In addition I would like adjustable base manufacturers to offer more comprehensive warranties and or replacements on the parts that regularly break down? For example the motors and remotes.
Cool Guinness socks!
I recently bought an adjustable base and was told it was an Ease 3.0 but I'm starting to believe it is a 2.0 and was lied to so I was wondering if there is such a thing? I think I have an ability to return since on my receipt says 3.0 can you give me your input on this if you see this message?
love this channel
You show the ergo extend base when you talk about the ergo. The ergo doesn’t have that perfect seat feature but does have a snore button
The extend also has a feature that separates the top and bottom when reclined. I really was looking forward to hearing about that. To see if it helps with comfort and the smart sensors were not discussed. I bit disappointed on the 2 main features weren't discussed
I'm pretty sure they weren't discussed because they are newer features that have been added since this review was done. I too was wanting to hear about the perfect seat feature and if it is worth the extra expense.
What do you mean by separates the top & bottom?
what is the best message base for price
what do you do with a headboard?
I just got this extenz yesterday. King is too small. I need wider.
Nice base
Do any others have app control? That seems to be what sets Tempur-Pedic's apart as far as I have seen.
Would one of the adjustable frames work fine with the purple bed? I’d like to see a video on this. The feel of the bed if on an adjustable frame.
Purple works with adjustable bases. They are made to work together. Purple actually sells their own (branded. It's really from reviere).
I think you look like Bradley Cooper. LOL! Great video!
would like to know the difference between Ease 2.0 and 3.0 and would like to understand how to understand how to compare angles of the position (some say 70degrees others say 56-what is best and lastly. If constant bending of your mattress will hurt your mattress at all
The 3.0 is lighter. The 3.0 has 12 inch legs 2.0 has 9 inch legs. The retainer bar at the foot of the bed is black on the 3.0 and silver on the 2.0. Both remotes will work either base.
Why does my base only have one massage motor, on the right side?
Which base has THE BEST massage? 😊
where is description? you said read description below.. help help
Hello there, liked the review. I am looking for an adjustable bed for two that my wife and I can adjust separately. I am also 6’2” and weigh 280lbs, she’s 5’7” and weighs 145lbs. What mattress would you recommend? Thanks for any advice.
Mattress recommendation is something you would be best talking to someone in person about. It’s all about what you need and like as a person. What I can tell you is it sounds like you definitely need a split king. Split kings can be adjusted independently but aside from the adjustable base you can even choose the mattresses independently as well. For instance if you prefer a firm mattress and your wife prefers a soft mattress you can order something like a tempur pedic pro adapt firm in a twin xl for one side and a pro adapt soft twin xl for the other.
