      @@goodbedThank you for such detail, Mike. I'm not super clear on the massage motors (placement or how many are present). I have the 2022 ergo & the massage motor (one upper, one lower) seems to be on the right hand side of the bed, so very little motion on the left side of the bed. Is this the norm for motor placement? Thank you for your time & assistance. Blessings.

We did not like it, so we purchased a full king. We would not use the split adjustment, and after checking it out, it felt odd sleeping next to an adjusted side, kind of like sleeping near a wall. • @theSLbrownbird
      @theSLbrownbird 2 месяца назад

      You would remove the slats. The slats are there so you can put a box spring on it (never put a mattress straight onto slats, it'll ruin your mattress over time). With an adjustable base like these in the video you would actually take all the slats out and put the base in the middle of your frame. Your mattress would be sitting directly on the base which would be centered in your bed frame once the slats a removed - so no weight is put on your frame, further extending the life of your furniture due to the lack of weight baring pressure you would be eliminating. It's also great if you're plus sized so you can have total peace of mind sleeping on the base vs wooden slats. Hope this helps, I work in sales in the furniture industry.

You talk about zero clearance (can sit on a platform bed) but what about "wall hugging" or the ability when the head is up to still be able to reach things that might be on a side table? What matters most for those of us who use vibration for pain relief is the length of time the vibration lasts? 🤔 After turning the vibration on, what is the time frame the vibration fully functions? 🤨 How many repeated and consecutive vibration sessions are subscribed as maximum time for vibration? 🤔 This is the information I most need on the top two Bases. Being able to use the vibration for 8-11 hours is my preference. As a Post Polio old woman, vibration is my chosen pain relief. However, it is needed every day and sometimes when I've done more than 'allowed' by my condition, I need a total of 10 hrs within a 12 hour period. It is better than mega pain pill usage. 🙃

    What is the speaker configuration and how does the Bluetooth sound work in split setups? I would assume there'd be 1 bar and 2 woofers per side. Can a Bluetooth source utilize all speakers in a split setup, or is it one source per side? Also, do you know the watts and impedance of the speakers (and amplifier)?

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  Год назад +1

      Hi Thom -- Do you mean a split head design or two twin bases side by side?
      If the former, the speaker system would work the same as on a regular king base -- ie, everything is controlled centrally for the whole base. There may be a R-L balance but there is certainly not a way to play one thing on one side and something different on the other side.
      If the latter, I don't actually know if the speakers can be paired as part of the pairing of the bases themselves. My guess would be that they can be, but I would recommend confirming that with Tempur-Pedic. If you get an answer from them, please let us know.

      @@goodbed I apologize for not being clear. Thank you for covering both scenarios to the best of your knowledge.
      I looked up the owners manual. It says that the sound can be synced between two bases, but it requires those bases to be synced, entirely. Meaning, the only way to have a split setup play sound from all available speakers is to effectively nullify the split setup and require their positions to be the same. Hey there! We'd recommend talking to the store you purchased from. There might be a malfunction in the motor that can be repaired or the base could be replaced entirely. Hope that helps.
