I know u are taken,am a huge fan and the only time I had a chance to see them I was on my way ticket in hand and my motor blowed ,Angus young is my favorite guitar player ever I even have a sg like him ,,we are about same age and bonus I can play all of ac/DC songs on three instrument,,lol
AC/DC was the very first stadium (Hampden Park in Scotland 2009) gig I had been to, it blew my 19yr old mind. The atmosphere of crowd, the band, amazing.
YEAH LISA !!! I am from Argentina and I was there in the field jumping and singing for more than two hours, it was a whole afternoon and night of partying! But this is not only with AC / DC, you can see shows by artists like KISS, INXS, Pearl Jam, Duran Duran, Carlos Santana, Ozzy Osbourne, Race Again the Machine, Prince, Rolling Stones, Oasis, Foo Fighters, The Police, Jamiroquai, Megadeth, Queen, Whitney Houston, Toto and many other bands and soloists that I have seen and it is always the same insane. You can see the shows in Argentina, they are crazy! Even many shows by Argentine Rock artists like “Soda Stereo” Link: ruclips.net/video/OX-us7PEfkc/видео.html or “Indio Solari” Link: ruclips.net/video/5tHNjWdFRUU/видео.html or also “Ciro y Los Persas” Link: ruclips.net/video/e5egGC28OcY/видео.html and I could name you many more. Great reaction singing and enjoying Angus Yang. Hug from Argentina. Take care of yourself and enjoy the videos that happen to you
You'll always have the privilege of being in one of the greatest crowds ever witnessed. You guys should have won a Grammy for vocals, dance and contribution to energy which will echo through the universe for all time.
Saw them live. Once. Fly on the wall tour. One of three best shows I ever saw. Other two were Stevie Ray Vaughan on a Summer night on Mississippi river in St Paul ( $7 bucks for show) and Tom Petty with Georgia Satellites and Del Fuegos. All in mid to late 80s. Those were the days
Brian is getting a Bionic ear drum, could have it by now , he was talking about it on an interview with Angus who is now 66. Angus is quite shy and humble in the interview about 20 yrs ago, both vids on RUclips. Here in Aus where they emigrated over here to live as young children, we call them Acca Dacca 👍😊
You need react to Highway to hell (live river plate) Rock and roll train (live in river plate) Tnt (live river plate) And more videos of argentinian crowd.
AC/DC has been my favorite band since I was 12 and I'm 50 years old now. However I've never been to an AC/DC concert. My slightly younger brother who's never really liked the band has been hundreds of rock concerts and he has been to two AC/DC concerts. He said even though he doesn't really like AC/DC they give the best live performances he has ever seen.
I am a Aussie man,I remember going down to the local pub here called the Corner hotel, in suburb called Richmond, when they we're starting out, when obviously Bon Scott was the lead singer, and they smashed it that night as well. I think they have a few more fans today, in comparison to the first time I saw them live. And still to this day the Corner hotel is still kicking. Thanks to you and you're Mum for a wonderful reaction and be safe.😉
Mom's cool points just skyrocketed now that we know she likes AC/DC. I personally haven't heard anything about another tour, plus I thought Brian Johnson was retired. I know a few years back they went out with Axl Rose singing lead, though I haven't seen any of those videos. Brian did do a documentary miniseries called "Life on the Road" for the BBC I believe, shown in the States on AXS TV, where he travelled and interviewed the likes of Sting, Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, Robert Plant, Dolly Parton (!), and others. Worth a watch if you can find it!
God bless you for doing this for your mother. She has to be a super cool lady if she listens to AC/DC. They are my number one favorite band. I am 66 years old and have been listening to AC/DC since the early 70's. They have been around since 1973 and have a huge following of people of every age. I dont know about your mom's health but I wish her well. Bon Scott was the original singer who died from asphyxiation after a heay night of drinking. I believe he was 32 years old. Brian took his place after the band laid back for awhile. Malcolm is Angus's brother who passed away after s long bout with what I think was alzheimer's disease. They have survived through all these tragedies. Brian is not with them now due to hearing problems. Hope I have correctly depicted a small amount of their history. Please forgive me if I didn't get some of it exactly right. Keep playing songs for your mother. God bless you both.
If you have managed to get to Argentina with your music (all the really good ones do it) and you come to give a concert ... the crowd will let you know how much they have waited for you, or how much they know every detail of your songs (they will even sing the riffs) and will express it with every inch of their bodies. You better put lights to illuminate them because the concert will be given to you by the audience.
Malcolm was replaced with Stevie Young, his nephew. This concert video from River Plate is recorded over 4 nights and they had over 70,000 each night. I have seen them once live fairly shortly after this was recorded here in Brisbane Australia.
didnt upload 1st time well done Lisa and ya thought mom was just a Elvis girl ..Mom rocks my kind of girl hahaha my generation ......Bon drinks on..gee lisa when you are good you are good every one shows up just like stadium concert with the Stones..rock on lisa
Malcom has been replaced by his nephew. I have seen them in conert 4 times and they still rock just as hard now as they did back then. U haven't been 2 a conert until u see this band live
Early 80's ACDC played a school hall 5 minutes from my house. Some high school girls may have been found in the back of the van after the concert. Angus is fit but had to be told how to be healthy Around the school concert time he went to a Dr. quite unwell. Had been living on milk and Mars bars as the Mars add said they help you work rest and play. Thought it was a healthy diet. GOLD.
Malcolm's nephew is on rhythm guitar now i believe. New album recorded in Vancouver last year. Now with Brian's new ear monitors he can sing again so expect a tour next year hopefully.
I hope your mom is happy and that she enjoyed this. We south American.crowds are like that. But Argentinians are unequaled (I am not one). They are no doubt the best, then is Brazilians and probably us Chileans
They just released a new album, one of the best ones yet. It is called PowerUp. Some of the songs are posted in the reactions. They replaced Malcom with Angus and Malcoms nephew, Stevie Young. He does a great job with the rythm guitar!
Hi Lisa, To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm at all a hardcore AC/DC fan. I mean, I dont keep track of those guys. However, I've been at 3 concerts: 2010 Valle Hovin. Norway, 2015 Roskilde Denmark, 2016 Aarhus, Denmark. If you aced your geographics, yes, I'm a scandinavian. AC/DC is an odd choice, but not so much, if you consider the lifespan of the band. Back in the early 70's nobody ever heard of AC/DC. They might have heard of The Easybeats, the band that George Young played in (it is here on youtube). Somehow that all changed.. And we got glam Dave Evans. And later the more charismatic Bon Scott. I'm born in '72. AC/DC wasn't really a part of my upbringing. Untill i saw the movie " Maximum Overdrive". Then everything changed. Or I did. I suspect the latter... I'm not really sure that I can help. I'm just a fellow rock'n'roller
Angus and Mal's nephew Stevie is playing rhythm guitar now - I won't use the word "replace" because no one can replace Malcolm Young. Cliff Williams has retired and Chris Chaney is playing bass, while Phil Rudd is looking after his sick partner and Matt Laug is doing the drumming, with Phil hoping to return to the band at some point.
Love the video, love the group, love the concert...but historically, big continuity errors. Angus took his clothes off later in the concert. He was in both modes in this video.
Hi Lisa, AC /DC have just released the official music video for the second single from the new album PWR /UP, which is called Realize, it's definitely worth checking out!! 😀 😀 Hi from Scotland!! 😀 😀
I don't know how old your mom is...but she's cool as heck! These concerts were held in a soccer stadium and there were approximately 80,000 people at each of the three nights. I have been lucky enough to see them with Metallica and Judas Priest in a "Metal Head Celebration" that lasted over 5 hours! Myself and 2 friends went straight from our 9-5 jobs...still in our business suits...and had a great time! We had to be the only 3 guys with short hair and in suits at the "Celebration!" I have heard that they are possibly going back on tour. Perhaps he is getting those cochlear implants to help him hear again. I know I wish I had the money to get my left ear done....I hear less than 10% in that ear.
they replaced malcolm on the last tour with the youngs nephew stevie who also filled in for malcolm in the past when he was having trouble with alcohol
Malcolm is replaced by his nephew and Brian is getting some surgery ( i think). Axl? ... no idea but a tour may be on next year :) I will be there if it happens.
Lisa, If you liked this concert I would like you to be introduced to a band from my country aswell. It's in spanish but I hope you and your mom likes it. - Soda Stereo - Profugos (me veras volver gira 2007) The concert was held in the same stadium, the River Plate.
Argentina best crowd ever!!!!💪💪💪
