I was looking at webcams recently and shocked at how many of them have such poor quality microphones and even cameras still! I am gonna try this out with my iphone 13 pro max. Thanks!
It is definitely worth upgrading to the pro version of the software. Ironically enough the video you did before showcasing the application was how I found your RUclips channel. Was looking for the best solution for the daily zoom calls while working from home during quarantine!
That's pretty neat, I am currently using Epocam and it's not great - the free version is really not great. I do however understand that my usb may not be high speed, however there is a stutter present during recording. I'll give that goofy named app a try. If that works out better and I can find a good medium setting in the recording output, I'll pay for the ludicrous speed upgrades (prof. app, highspeed usb, etc)
Great video bro! Love when you take the new tech and turn it to webcams 🙏🏼 wanted to ask, why this app and not epoccam 🤔 Also would love to see you try out that new pixel 6 in webcam mode! Just watch Tech Audit do it and omg great quality! Def wanna see you make a vid for it! #Supportlocalmusicians lol
in my experience, Epoccam's camera quality is much lower and doesn't work nearly as seamlessly. Having used both, I feel like i could use Camo Pro as a full webcam replacement, but I couldn't say the same for Epoccam.
I tested EpocCam with my iPhone XR about two years ago for twitch streaming using OBS, but I wasn’t impressed. I’ve been using the c920 webcam from Logitech and a canon Eos Rebel t7, but yesterday I rediscovered EpocCam with Elgato camera hub and it’s AMAZING!! now my iPhone XR gives a 4K at 60fps. Video quality is flawless
Thx for this overview. I purchased Camo but do you know why I can't use my connected iPhone 13 pro max as a source for video recordings in Keynote Live Video or QuickTime? Keynote recognizes the iPhone but not as a 'webcam' but rather as a device to record what's on the screen. what is your experience?
Umm, this looks like crap. You compare the phone to a mirrorless dslr with a garbage lens. If you want that shallow depth look, you have to use something other than a phone. Otherwise you get high resolution footage that shows how unkept your room is. Not a good look.

The result please? 🙏🏾 😊

that’s awesome!! I didn’t want to get repetitive on this one but really wanted to show the new iPhones quality .
Thanks for this review. There are also a few other software turning an iPhone into a webcam... including me 😁.
Note: Combine the phone's ultrawide lense with something like NVidia broadcast's zoom feature and you'll have something similar to the OBSbot
Awesome. Thanks for the info!
So we can't use external microphone for this?

How I can use iPhone 13 Pro for webcam and charge it both using camera?
Hello bro, looks great, so I'm curious about who would be better comparing it to ivcam?
Great video!
Cool 🔥🔥🔥
Maybe it`s a stupid question, but how to change 50hz/60hz in this app to set up light behind me?

That's a cool app! I agree that the name has to change. To many syllables.
Great video
Can this work with wirecast

It's better use it with FilmicPro, unfortunately the problem to use the Phone as Webcam is impossible to blur the background...
I wanted filmic pro but it doesn’t work iPhone to pc for mirroring
👍🏼
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, The iPhone looks so much worse!
Because of his lighting setup. 😂
Dude I can buy a Logitech cam for $80!
bruh...80 is a rip LOL
1300$ for one webcam. I use a dslr for this price
It’s for people that already have spend the money on the phone
The gadget man strikes again with a GREAT product use video...✔👍
DANNY BLACK 👍👍
Have a Great Day!!!
VEGAS 20⚁⚁😎
does this work with OBS?
very usefull tip! I'm gonna try it. Thanks Danny. Great video.
Does it work in Microsoft Teams?
Can the iPhone record at the same time?
Really good video. Exactly what I was looking for.
Wow! This was an amazing video. Great job. Very thorough!!
What lense are you using for your a6500?
the type of videos i love. quick and super thorough
I tried that, but my phone gets really hot after a few minutes of usage.
I used a different webcam app for my iPhone 12 Pro when I was in Florida last winter, and it worked great. Thanks for sharing Danny.
Which one please? 😊

I think you need to have camo on and then it will recognize it. Should work as a source (called reincubate)
The iPhone Pro looks like he has jaundice every time he uses it.
