Great video and the gear looks really interesting. Shame that it's all so expensive though- I'd love to see what's available on half the budget.
A monopod is a great addition, keeps the horizon level, get up over the crowd, makes a good walking stick, and requires no batteries. Never leave home without it.
Love that you mentioned the nano I’ve had mine since my 11 pro max and love it gonna continue to use it with my 13 mini when I get it Friday

Love your set up. I recently got a gimbal for my iPhone 13 Pro because of fear of gravity while taking pics lol I am gonna check that phone grip. That looks easier to carry. Hope we have that in my country.

Back in 1992 when I was on the movie set of "Silent Tongue" shot in Roswell, New Mexico... and Sam Shepard (RIP) was using REAL (REEL) Film... he would have gone crazy to see something this small... YES, I know you (shouldn't) use something this simple to film a REAL movie, but after being on another movie, and 2009 and they used Canon 5D Mark II... and the Continuity person was using an iPhone 4 and it was very impressive. They actually used some of her footage as "B" roll... So iPhone has been doing a great job...
Hey Sidney, did you have to go into the sounds and haptics ->headphone safety -> Lightning adaptors ->forget all adaptors ... in order to make the external mic work with the iphone 13? or did you buy a trs to trrs adaptor?
The cable you mentioned @6:02 that enables you to connect Iphone directly to your mic without adapter is called the Saramonic SR-C 200.
Super nice and looks more professional only having one short cable going between phone and receiver!!

Great tutorial! 👌 It would be nice if you could use a wireless mic such as the Shure MV 88 on the side but it looks like there isn’t enough space for it to stick out. Maybe let them know to design one for this? 👍🏻

I have the iPhone 8+, which is fine... we have used the old iPhone 4 for continuity in filming... but my question is this...
Now that I need (or want to buy) a newer phone to use for my Acting Studio... I thought I was going t buy the iPhone 12 max pro... but now I'm not sure...

you'll get much cleaner audio to your phone using the USB-C port on the rode rather than the 3.5mm (using a rode usb-c to lightning cable) :)
So should i buy rode SC15 instead then? Have the rode wireless go 1.
@@Niskovic1 you can also buy the apple lightning to USB camera adapter cable and just use one of the cables that came with your wireless go2 to connect it to your iPhone 13. Works a lot better than using the 3.5.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing special about the Rode cable, any USB-C to Lightning cable will work.

I have the same small rig and I use it with my iPhone 12 mini for streaming. However, I use a MagSafe charger so I have access to the lightning port for audio. Great vid…….”suckerrrrrrrr”!

I love that Rig... is it possible to attach it to a gimbal? is there anything to watch out for if you use that rig with phone on a gimbal? because this gives you space for the lightning jack you cant use on the usual gimbals...

The Rode cable is the SC15 to connect directly from the Rode Wireless GOII to the iPhone. I am not sure of the name of the cable for an Android
Do you have to have that quick release plate (or any connector of a sort)? Or can you just put the tripod right in?

Hey Sidney, loved the video. I would love it if you can you confirm if the Deity D4 DUO mic works in stereo with the iPhone 13? I have been reading that when you do try to use both mics it does not work. You are unable to record in stereo to the iPhone 13. Hope you are able to confirm this.

You forgot to mention the cost of the items..im suspecting with all the different attachments you showed you're talking about 4-500 bucks easily.. i have a couple of those items and would like to buy a couple more you showed..but when you are working to take care of a family you have to be spend thrifty and buy each one separately when you have spare cash. i believe that you are probably a college student and have tons of cash...i do have the Iphone 13 Promax.. why dont you buy me some of those items and i'd be your friend forever..thanks for the heads up..Really great video..one question..i really like the Grip.. do yo uhave to use the attachment to use it or can you just buy the grip and "Voila" start using it.. what is the cost of the grip.. it looks well made..

I'm planning to get the iPhone 13 pro max, I had returned 4 different cameras that I had purchased in the last month.. defective issues and it just ain't working out for me.. that's including the Sony zy1, (it was defective, both of them that I purchased on Amazon) anyway I'm planning to get a camera, yet since I'll be switching over to the iPhone, I might just shoot with it meanwhile. Which would you go with sony A6400 or Sony zy-e10? Or is there another camera that you may recommend? Mostly cooking videos yet daily vlog as well. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Good evening. I love the video. I love the whole set up that you used in this video. There was one thing missing that I’m looking for that brought me to your video. Let’s say I have everything that you showed in this video hand grip, the case, the light, the wireless mics. I live ride by the way. If I wanted to stream with that rig and use my rear camera on my iPhone 13 promax. I would like a monitor so that I can see the angle and what the camera is going to capture while being in front of the camera. What monitor would you recommend for that?

I found out that the LiteChaser products are proprietary. So you can't add a different company's lenses for example.

From what I've heard about batteries is that if you charge them too fast you will dramatically hurt the battery life. Therefore, I may pass on the Anker Nano unless you really need it.
