I was so excited to use this, I bought Droidcam but want to have 4K 60 FPS, something Droidcam has yet to achieve. However since making this video OBS Camera is now 130 Euro if you don't want a subscription, which is 12 Euro. I understand that this is a small developer to my knowledge but that price is a dealbreaker for me, that's nearly the same price as the Logitech Brio, and more expensive than a Cam Link 4K.
Really impressive bit of software / tech. Great video Mike. Quality of the OBS iOS software/iPhone including the mic was excellent. Really goof setup for a starter or semi-professional setup imo. Love ❤️ these types of videos giving people choices of gear and software etc for their setups.
I'll see if I can get this on the software catalogue for my organisation, this would prove VERY useful to some colleagues. Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath :-)
Great video, thanks Mike. I have friend Galileo who always has problems setting up the Apple USB leads when using this apps on his live streams. I normally have to ring him up and say “Thunderbolt and lightning very, very frightening me (Galileo) Galileo Magnifico-o-o-o-o”
Interesting video👍 Picture quality you showed to be great but sound/vid confusing at end as one was hissing nxt clear...was that to compare image/sound from iphone and dlr camera? Great idea to use existing tech thanks Mike👍
@@mikesunboxing Yeah I might still pay for it since so far it's the only iOS app that supports up to 4K@60 over USB. I use Droidcam right now and there's supposed to be support for that coming out soon but, who knows when xD

really helpful! thanks!!!
Glad it helped!
Will they be adding 4K 60 FPS support?
probably at some point but might be a paid feature
At this moment I can set 4k 60fps on iPhone 12. Check it out.
Can I go with 4k and 120 fps with my Iphone 8?
not sure to be honest i would think so if your pc will handle it
That's what I'm going to do when I get my pc
hope it works out well for you

yeah the settings need to be dialled in a bit to suit the app and OBS, still trying to figure out the optimum settings
I use iVCam for this purpose. Cool video Mike.
thanks james, i need to try that one
Thanks Mike as usual very well presented. can you use android phone, it would be nice to see presentation on android phone. Thanks
Will look into that for you :-)
Is this still $16? I think the app's billing strategy changed to be subscription based or a one time fee of like $69 :o
blimey that is pretty rough, thanks for the heads up
