I really like the proprietary battery systems on both the Pulsar Trail and InfiRay Rico series, however, given geopolitical tensions around the world it is my opinion that it'd be safer to stick to a non proprietary battery system just in case?
Thanks for watching Audie… Most scopes in this price and quality range are going to have proprietary battery setups. There are scope that run on cr123 and that presents another set of challenges. Hopefully, at some point, more scopes will be powered by 18650’s
