  • Full comparison of the N-Vision Halo XRF top of the line 640 thermal scope against the iRay USA Rico RS75 which is the only 1280 resolution scope on the market. They get compared to each other very frequently, I own both, here is how I look at them.

    Great review on these two amazing thermal scopes. I'm saving up for the Halo.

    Great review! Ignore the haters! Probably an unheard of comparison (b/c no one can afford both of these at the same time :D ). Man when you clanked these together it makes me nervous b/c of how expensive they are ! haha.... Keep the great reviews coming.

    I'll just stick with my Trijicon IR Hunter 35 MkIII. It's all I need!

    Wish companies would just focus on 2 different types of thermal scopes, up close shooting and long range shooting. Instead of being obsessed when higher resolution. For example I would gladly pick a scope with 640 resolution but had 4.5x or even 5x base magnification over a 1280 resolution scope with 2x magnification. I mean most of your average normal rifle scopes are around 4x to 6x base magnification and been that way for decades. BTW I have the halo x50 and love it, and for years I have used a nightvision scope with 6x base magnification with no problem. Just don't understand this need for low base magnification. But I don't hog hunt so that might be it. lol

      Hi, have a look at the Senopex A7 which has a x 7 base mag 384 core or the Senopex S10 which has a x 5.5 base and a 640 core. Both are great long range scopes

    Between the two, which can you shoot further with under higher magnification?

      @@brazosvalleyboarsandvarmit4719 I figured as much. I just am worried about the slow refresh rate for running dogs.

    Don’t hate me for asking but is ATN gen 5 a competitor at all? It’s cheaper than both of those scopes and gives you the 1280 resolution you praising the IRAY for…sooo where does it fit in this? Or not at all? Cuz looking at a spec sheet it also has 60 hz refresh rate so double that of the IRAY.

      ATN has a horrible track record of looking good on paper but ending up being a horrible product. Their Quality Control and Customer Service are both horrible as well. If you look at a lot of small thermal dealers, they wont sell ATN and they all say that they don't un-happy customers. The scope either breaks or the image looks horrible and the dealer has to take all those phone calls from people pissed about their multi-thousand dollar purchase that that dealer sold em. Sure some people get a good one, but not many, and not for long, and the follow up customer service is just as bad. Its just easier and better for everyone to purchase something other than ATN. If ATN could get better in those 2 area, better end product and better customer service, more dealers would sell them, but that would probably make their prices the same as everyone else

      @brazosvalleyboarsandvarmit4719 one thing ive learned from iRay this year is just be patient when products hit the market. It will go on sale soon after.

      @ohjoshrules 6 месяцев назад

      Oh goodie. Who was doing that sale? I think that’s an easier justification to go with the IRAY when it’s 12k vs 9.5k
