Nice work Nick, I love the way the toggle switches look. I hope to see your car next time I get to Buffalo.

Hi Nickolas,Tremendous video!! I have a very well refurbished Series 1 dash with toggles for my 1968 Series 1.5. Would you ever consider charging to do this same retrofit?

No, but my advice is free … and worth every penny.

Great explanation, thanks! But same question: Would it fold down and hits the AC vents? Anyone?

Impressive job for sure. I'm about to "just" replace the side & headlight rocker switches on my 2/68 OTS. Hope I do not break any of the plastic tabs, O'well.....

I am struggling with the Instrument Light Switch on my Jaguar MK2 (which is the same panel as the E-Type. I see that you have figured out the inner workings of the various switches. Can you share with me the detail of the Instrument Switch as the only way it makes sense to me is if it's mounted upside down ! My assumption is that the curved surface of the toggle should be uppermost and the positions should be (top to bottom) Off-Full-Dim ??

Yes, the toggle curves downward but the off position is fully down, the switch is in the middle position for the dim setting, fully up for full.

I wonder if this would work with a series 1 1/2 that has an ac unit below it? Would it fold down and his the vents? Anyone?
