Hello, I've got a 67 E type which came out from America that's been converted to right hand drive, i went to go start the car yesterday and found the choke warning light had stopped working. I was hoping you'd have a close up of the warning light switch in the video but no luck for me I guess... any way would I be right in assuming that there's some sort of micro switch that operates on the choke mechanism? If it's not the switch at fault surely it'll just be a globe? cheers

Yes the is a switch on the lever, probably just a blown bulb.
Disconnect the battery first perhaps?
Yes you could, but I was just careful, others may not be.
