In the USA u can receive the title of doctor once u receive your PHD . An attorney receives his degree and is given the title of doctor . You can receive the title of doctor in the field of education . A professor as u mentioned is the same as the doctors degreed person other than he does not practices his degree but teaches . They all have a PHD . Doctors all have a PHD in the field of medicine but many decide to specialize in one field such as foot doctor , dentist etc. All judges were attorneys that hold a PHD in law .They are now a judge . What I find even more offensive is one RUclipsr who is very popular out of Canada receives gifts both merchandise and money . He dedicated an entire episode to display all his booty he received . This person has several thousand followers yet finds the need to take from his viewers . Myself I would have returned or given away these gifts . Instead he encourage such gifting .
Yes, very interesting. I’m not sure what they have to do in England to receive a doctors title. It’s just that we don’t tend to refer to them as that and they don’t tend to use it or at least they didn’t when I lived there. Wasn’t aware of the person in Canada who did that, that’s kind of rubbing it in faces. people have asked me if I do the patreon thing and I don’t. I just don’t feel that’s right if someone wants to send me a few dollars to go towards equipment or buy beer I’m more than happy to accept it. It’s happened a few times but it’s not something I beg for.
Stupid ass racist
Gary you keep doing what you do best. Big fan of Jaguar and you
@@AlexBilski-p3f thank you, I am what I am, these are my honest opinions right or wrong.
At the beginning most of these shows were good Gary now they are just pish
It’s a shame but so true
Finished cover looks good Gary.
You gonna drive that thing to Texas to visit when it’s done??
@@bobellen12345 love to, but I feel that is still a fair way off ( note golf word just for you)

boring rubbish
Don’t watch
Too stupid to turn it off
Jaguars are luxury saloons, or stylish sports cars. They are NOT electric chelsea tractors. Death of the marque.
With you 100%
👍🤠
Sorry I got so bored listening to this that I just had to comment and close.
@@paullees5705 guess you are easy bored, so much so you couldn’t just go away
@jagvette1 No, and I'm not that bored that I couldn't just ignore your boring comment 🤣
On the tube that was Ontario , California not Canada LOL . As to your statement to Illinois , I for many years did say as u did . I was born in Peoria , Il. . My father worked and retired from Caterpillar which Peoria , Il. is the headquarters . Arizona also has a Peoria city in fact not that far from Queens Creek where u reside .
Oops, my knowledge of America and states does need some work :) yes Peoria is the other side of Phoenix from me.
During your previous IRS video, I was thinking, why oh why would anyone wear flip flops in the garage / workshop .........
1/ it's hot in AZ, 2/ they are steel toe capped flip flops :)
The EV agenda is a revenge tactic by all the sad stuffed shirts and pussies who can't drive and are jealous of petrol heads.
The goon show

98 % correct except for bmw. Lol Merc is the car of satan
Have you ever tried working on a BMW, it's not fun.
@@jagvette1 i have forgotten how endless they are to work on. i can't argue that. great video with the jag
Well ol" Sir bill would be rolling in his grave, Thou he did have a bit of a brain fade when he decided to bring out the Mk 1 and 2 in 2.4 Form. This was a ,money loser for the company [before answering, just consider the economics of "divided" production] and defys logic.
Yes, that looks good. My center console is also clean and has been repainted. The cup holder mechanism works well for me, but it is unusable, I agree with you there. A stupid construction. Greetings, Udo!
Congratulations on the views Gary to bad it was about the end of jaguar as we knew it, my most favorite car I ever owned was the Healy 3000 mk1 I bought in 1968 while a 1 lt at ft Lewis in Washington would have settled for a jag , but I loved that Healey!!!!😁😁
My dad drove the XJ12 an absolutely gorgeous car back in the late seventies when they were hand built. The body panels were probably three times thicker than today’s cars. A very solid car with real walnut dash and buttery soft lambskin leather interior.
Can't wait to finish my MKII and bathe in the interior
My father was a Jaguar dealer in the seventies until the original company went bankrupt. The car was hand built then not sure about the modern ones.
Donkeys in charge.
U do know wax paper and parchment paper the resin for fiberglass will not stick to it . U can use these products where u need to keep the resin from sticking to .
My dad has ALWAYS been a Jag man. He bought a Mercedes 280CE (W123) 6 years prior to his death. He LOVED the Mercedes. Started every time, low maintenance costs, build quality off the charts....etc. I was a FIAT, Alfa Lancia guy, now I have 3 Mercedes and no wife. I love my Mercedes
I live in Yuma , AZ which is Yuma County . We have no SMOG requirements . Maricopa County and Pima County do have the SNOG requirements which u live in Maricopa County . These are state owned and operated facilities . Now California every car of a certain age is SMOG tested . They are tested by private businesses which are state certified . I lived in Los Angeles County for 30 plus years . Not all of these private owned state certified businesses stuck to the guidelines . In other words with exchange of extra dollars paid under the table your vehicle passed LOL.
Again? how many times now? All UK car brands have gone bust, been sold, resold, gone bankrupt again... even when they are no longer UK brands it keeps happening... might it be because they overprice and under deliver?
My first Jag a MK2 1960 bought at 10 yrars old in 1970 for a100 quid i ran it for 2cyears until the bottom front cross member rotted i then sold it to a farmer for his clssic car collection for 80 quid so good service forcthe money sorth more now if had keptvit!!
Tata Motors.
Yup TaTa to Jaguar :(
Love the red color on your mk2. Wire wheels as God intended. I’d like to think it has a manual gearbox. I think it’s one of the best looking sedans ever made. How does it handle? I grew up loving British sports cars. Helped my Dad rebuild the engine in a’58 Morris Minor, I’ve had a ‘58 Sprite & a ‘68 Spitfire. In the fall of 1963, I took the city bus to the Jag dealer to view a new XKE. Next to it was a new Studebaker Avanti. Then I went to the Chevy dealer to see the new Corvette Stingray. I remember salivating over the cover of the 1964 fall issue of “Road & Track” magazine featuring a fire red TR4. Ah well, those days are gone.
It has a Manual 5 Speed Tremec Box, Check out my RUclips Channel (JAGVETTE1)for all sorts of stuff on my baby.Give me 50's 60's 70's cars any day.
Parts ?
For new or old, old jaguar parts not a problem.
EVs are a total scam. They are being sold as the solution to climate change and the way to save the world. What is really happening is everyone is being forced to get rid of the things they already have and replace them with new things. Forced consumerism. That's not good for the planet. You can bet in ten years time everyone will be told "oh ah we made a mistake, those EVs are no good after all, everyone needs to get rid of them and buy the latest gimmicky, trashy crap" Like has already happened with Diesel cars in Europe.
How long did it take you to realise the Mk2 didn’t have any glass in it? It took me 2 and a half minutes.
When a fly hit me in the face :)
How
Their scan tool is probably stuffed from being plugged into 20 dodgey cars a day.
@@Hydrogenblonde very true
I got to work and drive a Daimler in that body shape, fign awsome. The owner put power steering on it. But he used a power steer pump off a late model Ford. The power steer box kept leaking. I figured out that the pump produced too much pressure and modified the pump pressure relief valve. Worked a treat, no more leaks and better stsering feel too. Lovely car to drive. I have a 1974 W116 280SEL. it's in need of some TLC now. Also, a great car to drive.
I agree totally, I certainly think is too many unwanted and expensive features on todays cars
Old mans car Jaguar , modern jags like old so unreliable
I am an old man, why is that a problem, looks like you have NEVER owned a Jaguar.
Had 2 xj40s and I'm an old man too
This is just click bait. Jaguar are continuing to make cars so deal with it.
Not real cars, deal with it. and you and 13k other clicked, guess it worked. but most had constructive comments.
How about a pre loved S Class? Nice black one here
Jag or Aston martin
Love them, but out of my pocket range
Might be worth trying modelling clay to get the desired shape of turret, shape it whilst in car to your satisfaction , remove and use as a mould. Good luck Gary
@@keithr1814 the only modeling I am any good with are females
@@jagvette1 well we all gotta start somewhere
Totally agree BUT BUT BUT Jaguar will not be allowed to sell any ICE cars in five years time? Love your Jaguar.
Hopefully only if the public are dumb enough to buy EV's, fortunately by the time this becomes law I will be pushing up the daisy's.
British junk
That Jag mk2 on screen as a child and adult to me was the most beautiful looking car ever made. At 21 I bought in1969 a 1956 Mark 1. If looked cool and I kept it 6 monrhs. I had to sell it as the petrol bill was my months salary. Anyway that was how it was. I had some nice sporty cars over the years and my son has the same passion for cars having a 1987 Astra GTE. Valued last year 15 K. I have never as yet owned another Jag but the MK 1 and 2 still resonate as beautiful lookers. My son 10 years ago found me a BM W 5 series M sport auto 1999.E39. This is renowned as one of the last great beemers. 200K miles and drives.like new. Body perfect and interior. All electrics work fine and it drives and holds the road brilliantly. It is a nice looking car far better than the next generation and without their issues. I hope my last motor and I look out the window every day first thing and go wow. Oh £1200 all I paid and in the last ten years I have spent for MOTs, new battery, and about £400 on odd little engine bits which needed.. Just feel one lucky guy.
You are VERY lucky lets hope yours doesn't suffer the fate of many and need real fixes, "Loads OF Money" and pity the mechanic that takes it on
There are only 2 cars in the world and i have them both 1947 Austin 8 and 1978 Hillman Hunter, nothing else exists so please don,t mention it.
I also am biased towards Jaguar. I have been lucky enough to own a few, and am in my senior years. For me, it’s not for status or image, it’s for the pure driving pleasure. I also think that Jaguar have signed their own death warrant. A number of manufacturers are pushing back against all electric, due to falling demand and second hand values.
Honestly, with how little I’ve heard, let alone thought about new Jaguars I’m not surprised
Yes really sad
10 year old Lexus make a lot more sense.
Unfortunately I have to agree
