SONGS TO WARM THE HEART-- BEST MALE LOVE SONG SINGER OF THE 20TH CENTURY--COULD LISTEN ALL DAY TO HIS LOVE SONGS AND PRETTY VOICE-- YES MORE LIKE IT LOREN
Thruout the years always wondered how an anyone sinng in such ease and kalm like the late great slim whitman did wow certainly a voice in a million . Thank you for posting this beautiful rendition of pure clasics by the late great SLIM whitman.
His favorites just proves the kind of man we know Slim Whitman was. John Wayne has been my favorite actor for 75 years. Started with old "B" westerns on a 7" round screen BW Zenith TV. Carol
Hi, Loren. I first saw Slim on stage in Sydney, Australia, about years ago, about the late 60s, when I was in my early 30s, and became an instant fan. In fact I saw him twice, over there. Then saw him twice in Uk. Over the years I've heard his well known songs an unknown number of times. I still am a fan, which is why it's so nice to hear all these fabulous songs that you are responsible for me being able to enjoy for the first time. I've saved just about every one, which I have started to listen to whilst doing other things, or just sitting still and listening. I am almost 89, now, so have plenty of time to enjoy every single one. I sincerely thank you so very much. There are many other singers I enjoy, but Slim will always be up there at the top. Thank you for what must have been a lot of intensive work. All best wishes.
@@desmondsouthwell3529 Thank you! This is a very thoughtful comment. I often wonder if anybody out there cares. I have everything and some rare cuts by Byron. Your words are appreciated. Makes me want to start on the next one.
What a beautiful 67th anniversary gift!! Woke up to this beautiful selection today. My husband's favorite singers were Slim and Marty Robbins and it's a sadder world without all three if them. Thank you! ❤❤
THANK YOU! This one took about 5 hours to pull together. It is so much appreciated when I read comments, Those of us that have extensive catalogs of Slim's music will most likely never hear anything new. It's through people like you that we can even come close to feeling the joy. Thanks.
@@twiliger Thank you for commenting. I think Slim and Marty had the same morals in their lives and both could sing anything. Nobody around now comes close to them.
Only just stumbled upon your latest collection of overlooked gems, Loren & thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. Sound quality is superb & I appreciated the songs all the more, as I had no idea, what was coming next! The photos & trivia is a nice touch too. Thanks for your efforts again, Loren in compiling something new, different & unexpected. Much appreciated!
A beautiful selection of songs and great photos too. The songs Give me one hundred reasons and Rose marie from 1964 maybe recorded at the same session as Country song city hits recording session i think they are hidden gems too. Once again a fantastic video 👍.
Thanks for commenting. I'm trying to stay away from any of the well known ones and seek out the different less known by the masses. I admit some I won't touch. Candy Kisses being one.

Thanks. I'm running out of photos to post and only transferring in copy that doesn't have to be typed in. Cut and paste is the only way to not spend hours and hours on it. I need to come up with plan. Thanks for commenting.
'I really don't want to know' - I presume was recorded for the ' Home on the Range' or ' Ghost Riders in the Sky' album 1977/78 & it's s difficult to fathom out, why this was not included on the release! I wonder how much influence, Slim had on what was or wasn't included on each of his album's & did this change over the years?
He didn't have any say in what they would release. He didn't want somethings released at all. He told me there were reasons that some cuts weren't used. He didn't like them being released.

@@twiliger I have probably 100 Slim cds and albums, but your videos remind me of some excellent songs that i have not heard for ages.
I think I could have Mail Call on repeat for the rest of time.
It's Broken Wings for me.
