    Don't see why some people didn't like this film. It has a lot of accurate stuff and the lighting of it fits the times perfectly.

    Agreed 100% with what you said. Sad to see a legend of a filmaker do this. But I am sure he'll redime himself in the next one. :)

    I'd love to see what Clint and DiDaprio could do for "The Radium girls--the Amazon does NOT do them justice. Its quite a story.

    I am sure you meant Kiarostami, but let's forget about your typos. As it happens I have seen A Taste of Cherry. It is the only film of his I have seen but is was very well written and quite moving. Sorry that your attempt to make me look bad by naming a film maker you just assumed I've never heard of failed. You are taking this personal. All I have ever said is that J. Edgar is a film that you lack the knowledge to understand and that you saying its a bad film doesn't make it so. I'm not wrong..

      Hanks was great in "Catch Me If You Can".
      De Caprio is more physiologically suited to playing J. Edgar Hoover.

    i've never insulted someone for a comment on something they said in some video, like you did. so i don't really not how it works. just leave me alone. your "i'm not wrong" pretty much describes you. please re-read my first comment and check that i was talking about the script and the length and the rithm of the movie, things you can observe as good or bad in any culture you live.
    again, leave me alone.

    You really don't seem to want to be left alone since you keep replying to my comments. If you really wanted to be left alone as you claim, you would stop. Its also very small minded of you to think three words can sum up any human being. Kinda adds credence to my statement that you aren't smart enough to understand the movie. Of course it was long, it covered the events of a man's entire life. That doesn't make it a bad movie. So if you really want to be left alone, stop replying. Or I won't.

    I didn't get that final comment about Leo being born to play Gatsby. Whether it was a compliment or not a compliment. Anyone care to explain?

    • @Baconarama
      @Baconarama 7 лет назад

      If you read the Great Gatsby or now watch the movie Gatsby can be taken as an pathological egotist. He has the allure of glitz and glam but is quite manic.

    The reason I didn't see the movie, although I adore Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio, is because I didn't want to see Leo looking old and fat.
    Simple as that.

    unfortunatley, this is a seriously bad movie. as much as i like this two, the movie is way too long, the script is really plane and simple, and it's just bad. shame, because they're two cool guys indeed.
