      Haha right?!
He's got the perfect blend of his parents dna. Enough of his Pops to give him that classic "rugged" man look, with the squinted eyes of a Hawk searching for its prey. And enough of his Mamas to help express some of Clint's lesser known features. Scott's jaw line and chin for instance, much more pronounced/squared off. And the eyes/brows are a lot "softer" than his father's.
This is Clint Eastwood 2.0 - we *need* to get him in a modern spaghetti western A.S.A.P

One of the greatest movies Clint Eastwood was in, and its never talked about is called: "Where Eagles Dare"... with Richard Burton. Set in the 1940's, WWII, English / German espionage tale. The mission is, Paratroop In... storm the German castle, high in the mountains hence "where eagles dare"... Get In - Get Out... Clint plays the American Ranger special op's assassin. Check it out sometime. See if you can spot the future Scott Eastwood in the young Clint Eastwood.

Clint turns back into every badass western character he ever played right there. You wait almost the whole movie for it cause you know what's coming after he takes that sip........and that's just fine 🤠

What makes Unforgiven such a great movie is when the viewer finally understands that everyone is capable of good and evil. Most of the movie you are cheering for Eastwood's character and you despise Gene Hackman who represents a hardened law enforcement officer. Then at the end you realize that this "kind farmer" is a psychopathic killer and alcohol is both a trigger and a coping mechanism, (drinks until he nearly forgets what he's done). All of us are capable of moving between Good and Evil it's how we justify why we move towards the dark side that lies singularly with the individual.

Had no idea that was how it was with Scott and "Clint". A good thing. So little of that today. In the movie biz or otherwise. I know 20-somthings who've always had thing handed to them...go to study at a university so parents buy them a 3/4 million condo, a new Benz and a new Land Rover. They had never worked before that. After graduating youngest son gets a company for income. Literally. But that's an extreme example. I know 20-somethings living in their parents investment condo unit in my building. Then look at kids of multi-millionaires like Paris Hilton. Too many examples.

Eastwood will always be "the man." Even more respect he made his kids work for it. So many bloodlines in Hollywood when you connect the dots. Great interview Joe. Love your show.
