- Rehousing my female Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens aka. Green Bottle Blue Tarantula (GBB).
As you can see in the video she webbed that thing up in just 3 days. And its getting more white from day to day.
I think my male GBB will mature in a few weeks, so I will breed her soon.
Of course I will film it so don't forget to subscribe!
:-)
Filmed with Canon EOS 600d and EF-S 17-85mm IS and EF 28mm f/1.8 lens.

Hi, It's a 30x30x30cm cube with glas sliding doors.Here in austria, you can get them at every petstore.
Just one word : BEAUTIFUL !!!
Such a cute little creature.
die mucke passt so stark ! schönes tier !
Awesome, can’t wait for mine to get big and do that... I’m enjoying my sling though :)
Absolutly Beautiful!!

Beautiful!
That is the best, prettiest most beautiful GBB video on youtube! Have you got a recent video of the webbing? Did she honestly do all that in 3 days? Love the video. Subscribed.
Wo hast du die Rückwand her?
Sehr schönes Terrarium für eine sehr schöne Spinne. ^^
wow nice what a beaty :)
This spider is heavy webber :)
this is beautiful and what a gorgiouse acracnid !what kind of housing diplay is this and where can i purchase
@nathair82 thank you very much!
@TerraGameplayHD thank you!
i always wondered how do they walk up glass. like what is keeping them on it.
glass is not perfectly smooth if you look it up on a microscope. Spiders have tiny claws on the tip of each legs that can anchor on the tiniest asperity of the surface they walk on.
@TbSpiders thanks!
lol 1 month later and all that time wasted setting the plants in the right place just to look at a cloud in a tank...jokes a side they are great ts tho nice set up bud
I have 3DC it's a wonderfull spider
Did you have to put a lightbulb in the tank to keep the natural plants alive?
That's the only purpose of having a light on a ts tank really otherwise natural light coming into your house is ample as they don't really use their eyes to see
Hi Sir..What size is the enclosure? If you dont mind Im asking..thx 😀
@fatich00 indeed :-)
@psdoba thx! don't forget to subscribe!
what brand is the terrarium or where did you get it ?
@Mr1088Drew I bought this at a local pet store.
best regards.
Alex
How big was she and how big it that terrarium?
i recently bought a GBB sling, about 2cm - the starter pack i received has meal worms to feed it, however as i tried placing them in the container, he tends to stays away from it instead, am i doing anything wrong?
+Adnan Janjua It might be in the pre-molt stage so I'd just give it some time. Ts tend not to eat before, during, and after (until their exoskeletons harden up a bit) the time they molt :). Hope that helps
+Emily Mestanza so what should I do? Not feed him anything? I don't know if he's interested in meal worms, maybe something else like locusts? I don't know what if it's the soil, it's abit damp.. Do the GBB prefer dryer environments?
You can try crickets. GBBs are usually hearty eaters so I would keep an eye on it. GBBs like dry environments but as slings they do need a bit of humidity but not too much. I usually put a few drops of water on its web daily.. Just make sure that there is ventilation so that if there is moisture it won't be quick to mold. I'd check out Jon3800's channel. He has some great advice on slings and has a video specifically for the species.
+Emily Mestanza thank you so much! I'll let you know how he/she responds to the changes! :)
