    Metal vocal translation:
    Undo these chains, my friend
I'll show you the rage I've hidden
    Perish the Sacrament
    Swallow, but nothing's forgiven
    You and I can't decide
Which of us was taken for granted
    Make amends
Some of us are destined to be outlived
Step inside, see the devil in I
Too many times, we've let it come to this
Step inside, see the devil in I
You'll realize I'm not your devil anymore
    Under the words of men
    Something is tempting the father
Where is your will, my friend?
    Insatiates never even bother
You and I, wrong or right
Traded a lie for the leverage
In between the lens in light
    You're not what you seem
Step inside, see the devil in I
Too many times, we've let it come to this
Step inside, see the devil in I
You'll realize I'm not your devil
    I'm not your devil anymore
    Your station, is abandoned
Fool you cause I know what you've done
    Sensation, deprivation
You should've burned when you turned on everyone
So step inside, see the devil in I
Too many times, we've let it come to this
Step inside, see the devil in I
I know you'll find your answers in the end
Step inside, see the devil in I
You'll realize I'm not your devil, anymore
    So step inside, step inside

I do the same thing now that I'm catching up on my rap music because it both sounds so different and the flow and rhythm of their voice is different to I can't keep in pace with how their talking, even if its slow because I'm trying to stay with them and I'm either ending up to far ahead or behind in my brain. Though I absolutely can not stand weak or janky ass flow that too many got right now.

You’ll realize I’m not your Devil anymore.

Most reactors react to Schism, The Pot or 46&2 as they were probably the most commercialized songs of theirs. Personally, I’m sick of hearing those ones being covered.
Try AEnema, Right in Two, Parabol/Parabola, The Grudge ,
,Vicarious and if you like Tool try Rosetta Stoned and when you have time try Wings for Marie parts 1&2.

    • @callofthemen
      @callofthemen 4 года назад

well, you are right in some way BUT in metal you have a genre calle dark metal and in that style honestly you dont understand almost nothing, is really hard not only because of the kind of vocals but the instrumental as well so there you have it, it depends on what kind of music you grew listening to that your ear gets used to it

He's right in a way. I'm a black man who has listened to R&B and Rap for most of my life. When I started listening and giving rock and metal a try ... ( Because all rap and R&B became the same hook over and over) I had a hard time understanding most metal songs. I kept on plugging away and found songs I liked and now 25 years later I understand every word . My kids ask me.. " dad you understand that music " I'm like.... "Yes" lol
