    Hi Nick! You’ve got a guaranteed “like” from me on every video - “liking” is the first thing I do after I start watching. But don’t take any undue risks on our account; we want to see you hike well into the future.
    I love hiking in the IPW, but being well into my 6th decade, I’ve turned more cautious. Still, I’ve been to Isabelle Glacier and Pawnee Peak, and several other lakes and peaks starting from the Mitchell Lake TH.

      @pw2883 Thank you PW! I appreciate the like! I just did a hike from the Mitchell Lake TH today. I love that whole area. Its incredible and it seems like there are always moose there. Good luck on your future hikes!

    Wow, that was awesome! Sorry about that wind though. It is very hard to hike when it's windy like that!! And Shoshoni looked as gnarly as ever out there.....I can't even believe I did that one! Congrats on a great hike and beautiful video! ❤

    Yeah I'd be worried about getting blown off that narrow passage to the summit. You should have put your camera down Nick and used both hands. Be careful out there.

    • @nicksangetta8874
      @nicksangetta8874  4 дня назад

      @dr.nigelcool3771 I think I had it hooked to my backpack on that descent around the edge. I was using both hands for sure trying to hold onto that rock. Going up seemed much easier.

    The trail up was really pretty! Great views from the top, a lot sketchy though! I think I would of believed you more about the like button if you had some Annie's organic cheesy smiles to substain you while waiting for people to hit the LIKE button!

    They have a relatively new state park near Trinidad, Colorado called Fishers Peak State Park. That is a beautiful area. I highly recommend it. I'm also planning to check out Sugarite Canyon near Raton, New Mexico while I'm over this way.

    I wasn’t going to hit the like button because I didn’t like the wind, but you convinced me otherwise at minute 14:30. The high mountains and terrain in the Indian Peaks looks wicked. Thanks for taking us there in this video

    • @nicksangetta8874
      @nicksangetta8874  4 дня назад +1

      @ericcomp7032 I tried Arapaho a few years ago, made it roughly halfway up the glacier and then slipped and went down about 400 feet on my butt completely out of control. So I'm not trying that route again!

    I did these peaks from the other direction in this circque, Navaho, Apache, etc. in the winter once. It's a beautiful valley and it was great to camp right in the middle of Lake Isabelle.

    I am so glad you did this hike. It feels like a documentary of my hike in 2016. I made it close to the summit but then chickened out because it looked too technical. After another group arrived and summited, I got the courage to do it too. But I could hardly take any pictures because I needed to maintain 4-point contact at all times. There was so much air above and below me. And it wasn't that windy. Since then, this is pretty much what I think is top of my risk ceiling.

    • @nicksangetta8874
      @nicksangetta8874  4 дня назад

      @davidh516 It is a tiny little summit! And yes, it is airy up there. Congrats on getting to the top!

    @TheBrooklynHiker 4 дня назад

    You manhandled that sketch factor. Awesome as always. Although i do have a question what do u find to be more sketchy, this one or longs peak- (keyhole route)???

    • @nicksangetta8874
      @nicksangetta8874  4 дня назад +1

      @TheBrooklynHiker They Keyhole route is much longer with more sustained exposure but it never seems that bad to me. The Shoshoni exposure was short but that one step around the edge is worse than anything on Longs in my opinion. There is the one gap you have to go across on Longs but there are metal hands holds built it making it a little easier.

    I think you could use a way to rebuild after a strenuous hike. I know I would if I was able to hike now. Redox Signaling Molecules are native to the body but you lose 10% per decade. So we need to replenish them. It's only been available for a little over 10 years. Scientifically proven and patented. They really help you stay healthy.
