Amazing beautiful! I really appreiciate you sharing your hikes, I will never see the top of most of these mountains an you make that possible for many of us to see how beautiful they are!
Oh boy, that was a good one, and I know you have been wanting to do that for a long time! I am so glad you finally got it, and mom's pride is bursting! Two things I'm thankful for, and those are 1 - That you did it with no "whammies", and 2 - That I wasn't with you. I think you would have left me right around Potts Puddle. 😂. Congratulations on this feat, and great work on production, too! Loved the music! ❤
I just did Hagues to Rowe Lake to Mummy last weekend. I still have the jitters for how fun it all was. The Mummy summit is very cool, lots of wicked rock formations along the ridge if one doesn’t go the “stupid way”😅
This is going to be good! Haven't even started watching yet, but I've wanted to climb Mummy for a long time. The north face is right outside my front windows.
@@nicksangetta8874 I know, my friend. I remember you told me. I am thrilled that my vid pumped you up to conquer Mummy Mountain, something you had wanted for years. Thank you, mi amigo 🙏🙏🙏
@austinhadfield I have been thinking about this one for years! But I kept psyching myself out and not even trying. Glad I finally did it! That is one of my favorite summits in RMNP.
I might recognize Dylan and Iris .. If it’s the same folks who got engaged at Odessa just days before east troublesome fire hopped and took the fern area and Wuh. Great video ! Inspiring. Will try to hit Mummy but from Lawn Lake camp first haha
@RodneyClang Camping and starting from Lawn Lake would be so nice. Then you could actually get up on Mummy and go over to Rowe and Gibralter too. I just can't squeeze that all into one hike.
While Mummy looks like just a giant lump, from the common angle, it's a pretty good hoof to go up that southern exposure and it has fantastic views in every direction. I'm sure you've done this one before Nick, but it's different going from this direction for sure, rather than from the Trail Ridge Visitor Center.
That looked like a great adventure ... Thanks for sharing it with us ... Didn't you do it Mummy Mountain a few years ago? ... I thought you did it and saw a black bear down below you as you were hiking to it ...
@Colorado_Kkid I did do it once before at the very end of the Mummy Mania route where I started out at Old Fall River Road and came around Chapin, Chiquita and Ypsilon then went over Fairchild and Hagues, but I had never done it from Lawn Lake. I was in such a hurry the first time I really didn't get to enjoy the summit. I was too worried about not dying and making it to my car.
@jasonjackson7293 Thank you! I see it every day too. My favorite source of info is Lisa Fosters book called Rocky Mountain National Park the Complete Hiking Guide.
Need to add this to the list. One year living up here and there is so many trails lol. Is there a RMNP hike you recommend for hearing/seeing the elk this time of year, for moderate hikers? We would start before sunrise. 🤙🏼 Thanks for videos!
@@ZeeLee88 Thank you! I almost always see Elk on Mount Chapin starting from Old Fall River Road. But just driving up Trail Ridge in the morning will give you a great chance of seeing them right now. I heard they are roaming those open areas up there.
@@nicksangetta8874 Awesome, thanks for the reply. We are narrowing down between the Wild Basin/ Blue Bird Trail or staying up at old fall river road area and doing Lawn Lake maybe Crystal Lake. Thanks again for the content!
"this may not be the best way to do it , but that's what I'm going to do'...good mantra

One of your best Nick
Congrats on getting this one done. Beautiful summit views.
Thanks for sharing Nick 😊
Well done Nick. One of the best summits in the park, in my opinion.
@@Miderguy_ Thank you! I agree it is one of the best summits. It towers over the east.

Great job! Loved the video. KC Don 😉

@medicinegone I can always see this one from my neighborhood, too! I bet you could run up that thing no problem.
I'm glad you made it, my friend! What a hike!
@fadevsanjudo1222 This is the one I did after watching your Chasm Lake vid in the morning. It got me pumped for the hike! Thank you once again.

For years I have been waiting for this video, FINALLY.

Thanks for posting these videos Nick because there's no way I could do that hike. Great views from up there. Your sense of humor is great too.
@jamesnasium4035 Thank you James! I hope I can crank out a few more big hikes before the season is over.
