Foresty, I hope I speak for everyone when I say you are one awesome dude. Your videos are comforting. Your voice, your mannerisms, the lessons you impart (purposely or not, it happens) are much appreciated. You're my favorite part of youtube.
well said. certainly true for me too, he and Rocko are the best part of youtube
100% !!!!!! ☀️
Me too! Excitement when I see a new video posted is beyond any material thing Ive had.
Do YOU At. LEAST. HAVE A CELL PHONE
He’s certainly among the best of us
I'm watching and thinking, "Ok, Forest is climbing this cliff to the summit AND he also has the amazing skills to film it so beautifully simultaneously!" I've said it before, every video he releases is just such a gift.
Imagine if he was into landscape photography 🙌
Couldn’t agree more!!
Agreed...some pretty good camera work...theres a reason foresty has so many subscribers...good stuff
Thank you!! Glad to share these adventures 😊
All of that and carry a dog to the summit 😂
Calling your mom at the summit is a must. 🎉
Yessir
Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks TJ, appreciate your generosity, have a good one!
❤ ok TJ....
It is good to know that Rocko will bite any avalanche you encounter into submission.
“Enjoy the journey.” Words to live by.
Keeping you out of the factory!
Haha, need to bring back that line
Those outrageous camera shots on your ascent . . . jaw dropping! You are a magician, sir, a very smart, strong, and artistic magician. Thank you, as always, for sharing the magic.
Wow, thank you!
Indeed. 💯
I'm 71 years and proud that I'm still evolving and getting out there. Thanks for the memories Simon, keep at it. Awesome summit!
Good on you for still getting out there Ryck 👍
I hope I'll be like you
@@Keukeu45If you are passionate about the outdoors and enjoy hiking you will be like him ..because you will realize @ 71 its not as old as it sounds to you now.
.Assuming you keep yourself in shape till then which you will if
you keep hiking a lot.
Ryck, I have heard about people who completed the Pacific Crest Trail in their 80's. Keep on, keepin' on!! ❤ 🤗
Incredible. Simply incredible! I am sat here recovering from surgery and Foresty has taken me on a journey through the wilderness and, for a brief moment, I’ve been distracted from the pain of recovery. What an absolute treat, Thanks Foresty!
Sending healing vibes your way, Craig. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
A Peaceful Place...... A World Unseen....
The Viewers Thank You for the Chance to See It...
Wow! Those waterfalls were gorgeous. Lovely scenery, although watching you climb up that last section to the top was scary. The shots of the bears were epic. Hopefully you’ve replenished your supply of bear spray. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us. Stay safe, and give Rocko a belly rub for me!
You must be honored that Rocko allows you to tag along on her adventures. She's such a kind dog lol.
Incredible views, bro. Enjoy your stay out there.
Findley, flowers, fraggle and a text to your mom - I feel like I got a peak into your soul on this particular adventure - thank you for sharing you to us! We are truly lucky to have Foresty Forest and Rocko in our lives! ❤

Stunning! Thanks! For sharing a d making sure your mom knows you are ok. That means the world to us mothers ❤
Yes, I absolutely love to hear from Simon during his adventures.
Rocko chasing the snow makes me smile so much. What an epic journey this was. That summit is likely going to be Rocko as the only dog ascent.
Thank you. You and Rocko take care of yourselves. Great-grandmother from Florida.
Yo Foresty!! I just wanted to sincerely apologize for some really shit comments I made on some of your past videos:( You really do all of us a huge service welcoming us into your adventures and we are all really thankful for it. Sending you positive vibes, dont let idiots like me ever bring you down with lame comments.
All good, have a great day 👍
Awesome!! 👍👍👍
A lot of us are capable of getting grumpy and socializing some shittiness. I know I am. I didn't see your posts but the fact you're willing to reach out with sincerity and try to make things right, indicates that you're not a pos, nor an idiot. You're one of the good ones. Cheers to you.
❤
Integrity to apologize. Very rare thing these days 😊

I googled Mt. Findlay and found a picture from the summit of our two hero's Fofo and Rocko!
Thanks for the information!

What a beautiful area. Thank you for taking us. Stay Happy!
Good man Ry.... ❤
Thanks Ryan ☺️
😍😍😍
Rocko is the best hiking guide. Glad she was there to help you and attack that avalanche
Foresty has a wonderful record for finding things he dropped or lost. It must have something to do with paying attention, and the keen eyesight you get from being in the forest a lot.
Nice that you called your Mom. My son and grandsons are scout camping this week. Nice to have gotten a pick last night from them. I am sure your Mom is thrilled with every summit that you accomplish. I love the views. Be safe.
I think she'd be thrilled with every Summit that he comes back from.
Yes, I love to hear from Simon.
This video hit me in the feels at the end Simon. The piano. When you said you were just taking your time... enjoying it. The scenery. The hot sauce comment lol 😆 😂....
Oooff. ❤ I can't believe the content on this channel. Your humor. The editing. The views. The hikes. The music choices. The famous intro ❤. Rocko. The meals. Drone shots.

So much hard work and time must go into making your videos but what a pleasure they are to watch. Thanks Foresty!
Thanks!Epic. Great images as always.
Woo hoo! Summit 187 and #46 for Rockin Rocko! 👍😎🇨🇦🤸💪🎖🎖
Holy shit he's been on 46 already?
With the music playing on the summit, talking about texting your mom - it was beautiful. There is beauty in everything, you don't always need perfect drone sequences!
Thank you for documenting these incredible hidden areas
Neat to see a multi-day trek. Beautiful footage.
I call it a remote camping trip if there is more than two miles to the nearest bar! That's the small UK for you!
Always amazing, Foresty. I hope you always love what you do. I certainly do.
I think Rocko's giving you some extra courage.
Thanks Trey!!
Top quality FOMO material! Great to see you wayyyy out there where you’re happiest. Thanks for the spectacular footage
Your a good son…”sent text to mom.” The rain drops on the tent…most peaceful sound ever! Stay safe Forests Forest and Rocco!
Fraggle Rock, cascading waterfalls and the back end of bears… superb and safe. 🎉
The vistas you share with us....your earthy soul...your trusty companion. Such a pleasure to have a snapshot into your walk on this earth.❤
Rocko IS THE mastermind of this channel!! Her dedication & hard work are definitely paying off 👍 Glad Rocko let’s you tag along!!
Sending Aloha from Kauai, Hawaii 🏝️
Congratulations FF! This is an amazing and beautiful video. Can feel the huge effort required to make this. Stay safe and always look forward to your new videos!
Another great video! Thanks for letting us join you and rocko on these trips ! 👍👍🇨🇦
Thanks for stopping to photograph the flowers. Glad you took the time to enjoy the journey. Question: have you said about how much your backpack weighs for a 5 day trip by you and Rocko?
6:57 Great to feel that LIFE, LOVE and CHEERFULNESS in your voice again! Go Simon! This is it! Feel it!
I'm so glad you keep in touch with your Mom. Mom's stress when their babies go out into dangerous territory. I always say to myself that you made it back okay because you put the video together for us to view. I worry about you, as well. Love your videos dear young man. I'm old, so I am seeing the world through your adventures. Thank you so very much. You are amazing filming all this!
Yes, I absolutely love to hear from Simon.
@@emilyi.9385 Are you Mom?
I’m the proud mom.
@@emilyi.9385 I'm very honored to meet you. Simon showed me all these years of watching him that he must have had an exceptionally wonderful Mom who taught him so very much. He's watched all over the world with his skills and most importantly his honesty. It all leads back to YOU! Thank you! Much love and many blessings to you and your family.
@@lorettaenz4828 Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy reading the comments. There are so many thoughtful appreciative followers with such wonderful responses to Simon's and Rocko's adventures. Blessings to you as well.
That was an epic trip! I am so glad you took us along. Congratulations to Rocko on her record-setting ascent.
The legend of Forestry continues to grow.
Awesome content as always.
Stay safe.
Thank you, have a great day!!
You, sir, are a beast. Mad respect to you and Rocko, you take us to the coolest places. Great work as always, great choice of music, too.
Foresty is the REAL DEAL !
No fake here.
Keep it up Mr. Forest ! When you are as old as me, you'll be happy with what you find.😂❤
The Forest People have eyes on all visitors. They are as conscious as we are if not more so. It’s important for all to be kind to the forest and mind our own business when enjoying the backcountry.
Very true, indeed.
Just amazed how you can cross a fast moving stream with a dog in one arm and a gopro stick in another. You make it look effortless. And how you can climb the tops of those mountains with a dog strapped on your front. Just amazes me.
What a masterpiece! Great video, Foresty, thank you!🐥
Another epic video. 😊
Once again Foresty shows us his physical prowess/capability/courage/bravery/nerve and not to mention how much he enjoys his life to the fullest.
Nicely done.... You are truly inspirational Absolutely loved the video.
Yay new Foresty! Hope you're doing well and staying safe. 🖤
Rocko is so lucky to have been given the chance to live a life like this; a lot of the people watching these videos live vicariously through your adventures. She gets to join right in!
How lucky are you to be exploring that beautiful place and even better with your pup!!
Foresty, thank you for sharing beautiful nature of Canada. I appreciate all of your videos.
Glad you like them!
Thanks you two.
Our pleasure! 😊
Amazing. No other word describes what Foresty does.
Another beautiful little film. Thank you for sharing these adventures, Foresty and Rocko.
Thanks Nick !
“It was just spicy enough to be fun” he says!! WHOA bro, that was AMAZING. Congrats on the summit and first doggo summit. Rocko be like, “Yo Pops, this is my world…you’re just living in it.” PLEASE reload on bear spray!! Cheers!! 🐾 🖤
Absolutely crushed it. Glad you had a good time. What a beautiful place.
Dear S: - I hope you read this post - give me a nod if you do - my husband Bob and I are in Europe (yay) and right now in Innsbruck Austria surrounded by the Alps. We thought of you today when we took a cable car up to the top of the local peak - beautiful, but we thought of you climbing it when we saw other brave souls doing it. Also: in Innsbruck this week is an international mountain bike race of some sort - saw many "fat tire bikes" like yours all around where we are staying -- and also saw several adorable Jack Russell Terriers so you were on our mind today. :) Take more bear spray next time. I like "backups." Be well, Diana
Felt like I was right along with you guys, smiling the whole way. The photography was stunning, so much beauty everywhere. Thank you!
As always, thanks for the awe inspiring action, wonderful vistas, and allowing us to live vicariously through your adventures.
Awesome hike... great video and story. Imagine that Rocko has been to more summits than any dog at this point. Rocko should be in a 'Hall of Fame' for Dog Mountaineers.
Thanks!
Thanks! To honor Jack our rescue boy. Also to honor all those who rescue and care for God's creatures.
Thank you 😊
Thanks! ❤️
You inspire me FF.
Looking forward to hiking a Rocky mountain with you someday.
I've watched so many of the wannabe van lifers over the last 6 years who quit the experience shortly after starting. I'm so happy that among the van life genre, Foresty is true to the van life experience. I was lucky enough to discover him in the minivan.
I've been a subscriber for a few years now and this is one of your best vids. The piano music really added to it. The best compliment I can give is that it makes me want to go out and camp and hike with my dog! Thanks Foresty.
Every video I'm like so appreciative. Watching greatness.
They're so good it's like.... he can't keep making the best video ever.
But he does lol....
Great picture of you and Rocko on the top of Mt. Findlay google earth! Fantastic video!
Last time I was this early...
smoke was in my eyes I cannot deny.
I’ve been watching you long enough that I think I remember you finding that trekking pole.
A most awesome adventure Rocko planned out! Hugs & love to you & the feisty princess! Enjoy your bliss!❤️❤️
Congratulations on your return to the Purcell! It is amazing when its not too smoky
I loved the beautiful views of the mountains. I live in Chicago and we don't get these views for sure.
This was another awesome video! That climb, the view, the waterfalls, Rocko's antics, and I love that you text your mom ❤
I love to hear from Simon.
@@emilyi.9385You must be so proud of him!
He amazes me every day.
So I am bouncing around Google maps and put Mount Findley in the search bar and up pops Rocko standing on the top looking like king puppy. Stick with her, she is bound for fame.
A reasonable Grade 4. And I'm still holding my breath! That waterfall, Oh! When you rested and watched the passing cloud, arrh, that was nice. You and Rocko, journaled for posterity. Simon, I pray continued safety and successful climbs and ventures. As soon as your posts arrive, I watch. Love that you texted your mum. Thank you Simon. God bless you. T. 🐞🇦🇺
Canada truly is gorgeous.
Rocko surfing the mini avalanche, showing off and letting the snow know who's boss. Love it.
Thoughtful son, love you Foresty.
Shoutout to all the Moms out there....when you son accomplishes great things...he thinks of reaching out to you first!
What an amazing adventure and what stunning beauty and filmography. Thank you for taking the time to slow down and smell the flowers for us. I was born and raised in this beautiful province we call home and hope one day I can sign my name in a summit book under Foresty and Rocko.
Good morning Simon. Thanks as always for your clip and I must say you're looking much healthier now... and next time, please film Rocko doing all the planning and then driving you to the trail-head - that would have to be as least as thrilling as the climbs you two are ticking off your list.
You'll have your own Canada Heritage Minute one day Foresty!
A dog like Rocko is a treasure. All dogs are wonderful to me but that little brings much needed smiles to my face. She is so bright and beautiful. I rescued a street dog named Jack who could be her brother. Jack suffered horribly with skin issues. The day I brought him home from the shelter was his death day. He hid under his bed would wrap himself in blankets and growl if you touched him. He didnt know how to relieve himself on grass or dirt he would poo as he walked. But the day I went to kennel him he ran up front and jumped in the seat next to me. He knew he was coming home. After many specialized vet trips when we took all 4 of our rescue dogs on a 3 hour drive to his dr. He slowly came out of his need to always hide. He would try to pull me out of the ocean trying to save me. He would jump in my pool to save me. He was such an awesome dog we took him and his dog siblings all the way to Bellingham Wa from mid Ca. He was a trooper. His dr said he was one of the most amazing dogs she had ever seen. Even though he had open running itchy sores all over he was never grumpy or snappy. Over time with care he no longer stank or was bleeding and he no longer wrapped himself in a blanket or hiding in the closet. We had him for 2.5 precious years and he taught others and us about "the journey". Jack ascended his highest mountain with us, the joy of being truly loved and cared for. 😢😅
Teresa, I was moved by your comment. Thank you for saving Jack's life. I think that there must be a special place in heaven for wonderful people like you who rescue animals in need.
Have a blessed day. 💙💜💙💜💙
Hey Forresty!
Been a couple videos since I commented, but I've watched em all with great appreciation for what you do.
Hope your keeping away from the smoke, but that seems to be getting harder for everybody here in Canada.
We're getting it in Kingston!
Anyways, great job capturing your travels for us all.
A couple of highlights for me....the trekking pole bit was good, immediately made up a little story in my mind about a line trekking pole moving from person to person helping them when they need it...kinda like "the littlest hobo" lol, you might be a bit young for that reference.
Also, bout the bear spray, I'm right there with ya when it comes to things like that.
My own worst enemy.
Glad you shared it though, now we all know,we aren't the only ones have stupid stuff happen to us .
Take Care out there Forresty Forrest!
Love the Littlest Hobo reference!
Absolutely gorgeous! You have inspired me to take more hikes this summer. Thanks for the video. Love seeing these remote areas so few are brave enough to explore. You’re awesome!
Absolute legend. Thank you so much for brining us along.
So now Foresty is doing multi-day hikes and the Norwegian Explorer is living the van life. My youtube faves have switched places.
Maybe one day Foresty will visit Norway, and they can do a collaborative video. Would love to see that!
Foresty Forest is quickly becoming my favorite youtube channel!
Thanks, appreciate that!
