@@nogoogle6349 because that car is so short and narrow you felt every single bump in the road but the lighter weights really helped the suspension, so you didn’t feel everything and I put some Toyos on it so it definitely helped with the wheel spin on full acceleration from stand still and I didn’t see a change in the range.
I think your PSI needs to be higher than the recommended for a couple reasons. 1st, the tire is narrower so the force of the cars weight increases proportionally, and 2nd the rim being smaller adds more volume of air to compress during say hard accelerations, turns, and braking. This is also I believe why your ride feels significantly smoother than the OEM set of 17's. The difference of PSI is probably close to 5 PSI more that you need but that's just something to consider. By all means, your range should be better now with that setup
Anyone found alternative cheap full size wheel, which could be used as a spare wheel in emergency? I mean used wheel from junkyard or used tire place. I looked around Atlanta and nobody had it... The lug pattern is unique. Also the front brake caliper takes a lot of space...
When I had a 500e swapping for lighter weight wheels really helped with how crashy the ride felt
What? What do you mean?

@patrickmike2524 Thanks for your continued input, over the years!

Fiat 500e has a bouncier ride, feels faster off the line.
I'm surprised the bolt doesn't have more aerodynamic looking wheels.
What's better, Fiat 500e or Chevy Bolt?
What shock upgrade did you do?
