Last week, I returned from my winter stay in Florida to back home in Paducah in time for my 40th AQS show. Thought of you when I visited the wool booths that seemed more numerous this year than ever before. Also met and spoke with Judy Ballance 3rd place winner in small wall quilts for her gorgeous "Fresh Cut" (she also took a 2nd place in large quilts) Alex Anderson who was there mentioned her on her TQS show. Judy embroidered so many different circles on it. I mentioned to Judy B. that I have a lot of wool skirts and scraps and she shared with me how to hot wash and dry to achieve the felted wool. She is a huge Sue Spargo fan. That wool is so expensive may try to upcycle what I have. Love watching you and your recommendations for book titles. Love the lamp.
Lamp is a good way to light your way to the end of a fun project. Heading to boiler bay for a week long quilty retreat with 5 friends. Hoping to eat at Mo's this week in Lincoln City. Looking at the oregon coast while quilting away is gonna be a blast.
I have wanted to try a Daylight LAMP! I love the accessories are all attached and you don’t have to have separate magnifier and a phone holder also attached to a table! Very cool, Anna. Thanks for sharing that information. Have a safe and fun trip.
