I really should've gone to the show, but I didn't even know about it unfortunately. I haven't seen them play live in over 25 years but what amazes me is that John's voice is just as good as it's ever been which is a lot more than I can say for about 90% of the bands that have been around as long as they have especially in that genre. It's even more impressive because of his style, no one ever had a voice like that and metal and probably never will but he can still pull it off like he did in the 80s. Amazing!
Yeah, hands down, my favourite thrash band. Their music has so much character. I felt drawn into another world. Intelligent lyrics. Drummer does ample job - Glenn was a fantastic drummer. Was lucky to see them twice in the '80s with the original line-up and they were fricken loud but amazing.
Love how they’re not straight up thrash, kind of crossover because they certainly have hardcore roots and influence. Most thrash metal heads don’t see it sadly, and half of them don’t wanna say it because they think there’s something wrong with hardcore... WAKE UP (F#)
No baseball hats on stage! Can't stand it! I've played over 500 shows in my day and if someone showed to perform infront of a paying crowd,,,that hat would have went in a garbage can on sight! Always one in a band that slobs it out!
