I listened to this EP every funckin' day at my 15's.... this shit, besides DARK ANGEL's Darkness Descends and TESTAMENT's The Legacy were my deadliest weapons of parties destruction.....
Back in the 80s this band never got the limelight it so deserved. I had at least 7 tapes by them in high school and we played them everywhere. This band was way better than Anthrax, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Exodus, to name a few, and should have been more in the spotlight w other bands that kicked ass like Savatage, but didn't get the glory.
I was around 12 years old when I first heard this and it is still one of my favorite songs to this day. I was a little misunderstood girl then with a cassette then and now I am 46 and the song is on my iPhone favorite songs playlist.
on my old vinyl player i could play this at two different speeds - the intended thrash metal epic at speed, or the before-its-time slowed down death metal version. Such value. Love these guys.
I hung out with nuclear assault for 3 days up in Buena Park CA in 1986!! All thanks to katon pena of Hirax phantasm!!!! Dan liker was wicked cool!!!! Even paid for my food up at the mall!! Still have a picture of me and Dan!!!!
Omg havent herd this in a 100 years. Got damm. Old school right here. Saw this tour BACK in California. Good times. Good memories. Love me some N A. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Saw these guys at bogarts in Cincinnati. It was one of the best concerts I ever went to. Paid like 10 bucks back in 89 or 90 to see them. They kicked ass
The Press Gang I bought this mini album on eBay for $20 signed by all four original members. Can't wait for it to get here. I missed out on an original pressing of Extreme Aggression by Kreator though.
Sanctuary!!! Wholly shit haven’t thought about them in decades. That was a great album. Didn’t follow them after the first tho. Danzig, Ministry and original Alternative bands became my listening choices. Listening to this sounds so fucking awesome!
I remember whein i bought this EP autumn '87, the comer art made a big impression on me since i still had the chernobyl disaster fresh in mind. I taped this EP straight away and played it to oblivion on my walk man. Great EP by a great band. I still got it and still play it on my stereo
Me too bro, back in 1988 on the Survive tour, they played at a club in Boston and Lilker was looking for herb after the show and me and my buddy had some so he took us to their dressing room and Glenn Evans was in there too with some groupies. We smoked with the dudes. They were really cool. Got autographs.
"The whole concept of that song was that it was fucked up that he [Vince Neil] could get away with driving drunk and killing the guy in the car with him [Razzle]. He didn't do any jail time like you or I would. Just because he was famous, all he had to do was some community service and do some public service announcements about drunk driving. He literally got away with murder. We thought he should've gone to prison and got anally raped like most young men do when they're put in United States prisons. We made the whole thing funny, but we meant it" Dan Lilker.
NUCLEAR ASSAULT'thrashing'THE PLAGUE 1987 awesome . ps ad's are not if you must have ad's put your ad's after the last track on album's has ended [give listeners a chance to enjoy thrash metal] music thanks (much appreciated)
All there Ep,s and Lp,s were great up to Handle With Care they were my favorite Thrash Band While everyone was Praising Metallica these guys kept kicking Ass! Sorry but Metallica had 3 really good albums Kill Ride and Master that's it. When Cliff Burton died they did as well!
B3ST BAND EVER. MY FURST FAVRITE SPEED METAL/THRASH BAND BACK WHEN I WAS A TEEN!! AND THESE "REAL METAL" BANDS BACK THEN, PUT ALL (recent) NEO-METAL BANDS TO SHAME!!!!
anyone who hates John Connolly's vocals really does not understand the evolution of metal. These guys were thrash but they were influenced by old school metal. A hugely underrated band. The so called,"big four", were all major label signings. This band stayed underground and Dan lilker formed Brutal truth off the back of them. Thrash history.
THIS IS MY FAV BY THEM BUT CANT GET IT ON AMAZON IN CD FORMAT WHICH I CLECT SO I GOT HANDLE WITH CARE SO I ATLEAST HAVE ONE PHYSICAL COPY BY THESE LEGENDARY THRAHERS
I bought a legit CD copy of Game Over that includes The Plague off of eBay a few months back, they do exist and I love that they included The Plague in along with Game Over because they're probably my two favorite releases by Nuclear Assault, Survive is a very close next, same with Handle With Care, AH I CAN'T DECIDE
and.. it still sounds great til this day, im recording on analog 8-track tascam tape for that old school raw sound you know what im sayin b. boooyaah player.
People sometimes forget to praise this fine band..
Really, they are some of the finest ambassadors of thrash
Yea man totally agree 100 percent!!!Just got done doing a bunch of drum covers by them today!!! Killer band for sure!!!!
I really like their real songs, but can do just fine without Butt Fuck , Hang the Pope, Lesbians , Mothers Day etc
They were my favourite thrash band in the 80's.
One of my favorite thrash metal EP ever made. Classsic !!
you know it next to kreator in the dark and of the light album
Hung with them up in Buena Park CA in 1986, 3days!!!!
@@Overkill02021 Some great covers on Out of the Dark, but Impossible to Cure just wasn't a good idea for Kreator
I listened to this EP every funckin' day at my 15's.... this shit, besides DARK ANGEL's Darkness Descends and TESTAMENT's The Legacy were my deadliest weapons of parties destruction.....
yes.....the good old days
I saw them live in Wolverhampton in '89 with Dark Angel supporting them! Good times!
Glenn is an underrated drummer! His punch is awesome and will change him from other drummers.
strongly agree, this is by far my favorite "glenn moment" for lack of a better term, lol ruclips.net/video/XY7UwjfKTxY/видео.html
So true, he is easily up there with Lombardo. Has had a very varied career too, jazz bands etc. Nuclear Assault made The Big Four into The Big Five!
I'm lucky enough to have bought this on vinyl back in the day. I also own "Game over", "Survive", "Handle with care" and "Out of order".
The best NA records! The afters weren't as good.
Back in the 80s this band never got the limelight it so deserved. I had at least 7 tapes by them in high school and we played them everywhere. Nah even for popular thrash releases from 87 the likes of The legacy and Among the living butcher this
I was around 12 years old when I first heard this and it is still one of my favorite songs to this day. I was a little misunderstood girl then with a cassette then and now I am 46 and the song is on my iPhone favorite songs playlist.
The title track was by far my favorite Nuclear Assault song, and one of the best Metal songs ever recorded

One of the best Ep's of all time!!!
I saw them in Toronto with Mordred at the Siboney club. Was blessed to get “baked” with a couple of the guys from NA. They absolutely killed it!!
Me too bro, back in 1988 on the Survive tour, they played at a club in Boston and Lilker was looking for herb after the show and me and my buddy had some so he took us to their dressing room and Glenn Evans was in there too with some groupies. Nooooww we'll see what the future will bring.. Jon Connelly kicks ass..sadly super underrated
THAT FIRST RIFF I COULD LISTEN TO FOREVER AND IT DOES GO ON A BIT
Glad I got to see them in concert, front row too.. opened up for Overkill.
I might have this on cassette somewhere. Great music.
I used to. I would have a walkman with this cassette during work. 😁
such a perfect balance of everything. I challenge non metal /thrash fans to still disregard metal as not being real music after hearing that EP
Thankx 2 YOU ALL. Bee Safe. Robert. BOBZGT
I wore this cassette out. Brilliance.
Chingon thrash por siempre! lml
forgive me,it is the whole album..so it is a hell of an album with the best in it.

So everyone remembers who Butt Fuck was written for? That's right Vince Neil
Really why?
BuildDestroyRepeat he killed someone in a drunk driving accident………AND GOT AWAY WITH IT. pretty backwards ya know?
RIK A.N VARTIGYAN The accident actually happened in Redondo Beach. Near Vince's home, where the party was taking place
