Неужели у тупых политиков есть в этом сомнения? having a flashback evening...going back and forth between Sacred Reich-M.O.D.-D.R.I-Murphy's Law-and a little Metallica/Megadeath/Maiden...Bring back the late 80s early 90s and GET IN THE PIT
I love Sacred Reich. They are awesome..I remember getting this way back when. I always love their first album "Ignorance" the best though. But everything after was great too.
First off, the drumming on this whole EP is so good it's ridiculous. Dude makes playing 147th notes sound like a walk in the park. Skills like Buddy Rich or Dennis Chambers. Metal as anything. I remember my friend Mark getting this tape at Ace's Records in Tampa. I don't know how many times we flipped that tape. "War Pigs" hasn't sounded this good since it came out in the 70's; these guys were the first to put a truly unique (and metal!) spin on it without it sounding lame or label-driven. IMO, the only other good cover of WP is the Faith No More treatment on The Real Thing album, and even that doesn't hold a candle to SC's version. If you enjoy metal and you appreciate excellent musicianship, play this EP and crank it up. Your neighbors might not be happy, but you will.
That's funny! I always told people the same exact thing. Sacred Reich did it the best, then Faith no more. Everyone else seemed to fail big on this for some reason.

Back in the 80s bands like Sacred Reich and Nuclear Assault were known for their social n political lyrics...so they thread that fine line between thrash n crossover...love them anyway
Ola Hansson I've never been a huge OverKill fan, they have some tracks I like but OverAll, I'm not a fan hahaha. But yeah this Sabbath cover kills it, but my favorite sabbath metal cover has to be Doom's version of Symptoms of the Universe
Thanks for the upload, and taking me back to my teens in '88. In the UK we didn't have a Thrash scene, so any new American bands were welcome. I remember hearing this for the first time back in 1988 then buying any SR bootleg tapes I could. Good times

one the great cult bands way back in the day. Great lyrics, but because they're metal they'll always be overlooked and the likes of Pink get lauded cos she addressed "difficult" issues! Still relevant.
Saw these guys supporting Sepultura in '91 and they fucking killed. I think only the Seps (and probably Slayer) could have followed them onto a stage without looking lame at that time. This record was shit-hot and I played it to death, but really didn't do their live sound justice. Never understood why Sacred Reich weren't bigger, they definitely had the chops.

Hello old friend... thrash classic right here!
Sacred Reich and Nuclear Assault go hand in hand
SuperKevents lol think a more accurate compassion for Nuclear Assault would be S.O.D./M.O D. considering most of the members are the same.
No, Nuclear Assault is similar to Sacred Reich, being the song structure is similar. SOD was more short, often parody types of songs.
Nuclear assault songs are short blasts and get to the point. SR has more progression/ lasting solos ect.
Nuclear assault is way better than reich
why??? lol
That drumming! That bass sound! That everything! This sounds just as fresh as it did so many years ago! Fantastic stuff!
