Mam for data scientist we need lot of understanding for linear algebra, statistics, etc But for data analyst how much maths we need?? I mean we should have deep understanding in maths? Please reply
Hi Tushar, I am assuming you are a btech fresher(final year student), here is my suggestion: A Business Analyst as a job profile would need you to understand the finer aspects of business and the holistic picture of how a company functions and comes into picture and in engineering we are taught none of that not even 1%. So taking up a PGDM/MBA will be good for you, if you are serious about that career option. If you don't have the option of post graduation, try working on skills required for a BA, there are many people(BA) on Linkedin who even run free video sessions to educate students how to be a BA. connect with them. Last month I posted such a link for my RUclips viewers, where the person on LinkedIn was hosting a free BA session. Here are some posts for your reference, try to network and be active on LinkedIn, algorithm will automatically start showing BA related stuff to you. 1. Hiring Fresher for BA: www.linkedin.com/posts/manoj-rane-a1505a39_business-analyst-apac-analytics-reporting-activity-6715407217677488128-mhH4 2. How to create a BA resume: www.linkedin.com/posts/zarantech-corporate-training_businessanalysis-ba-businessanalyst-activity-6716987621794545664-IkAo Basic office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint should be sufficient to get you into the profession. The common visual modeling tool is Microsoft Visio, see if you can learn things on youtube, apart from that you need to have amazing comm skills as well. Once you are done with polishing skills, apply for BA internships, follow related tags on LinkedIn, you will soon get the hang of the network. Hope this helps, All the very BEST!!

Dear Rushi, yes to be a data analyst, coding is not required, its just SQL and excel you can start with... later in your career you can choose to learn Python..
@@theCorporateDiaries my skills are SQL and excel am not comfortable with coding so if see any data analyst post they are asking coding knowledge in there qualifications .
@@gulugulu6009 Dear just apply to those positions and show them your portfolio or any analysis that you can explain them.. companies wants to hire capable data analysts, they mention every possible skill they feel could be relevant in finding one, if you could match to their expectations in interview for being an analyst, coding skills become secondary... and don't be so rigid about telling that "you are not comfortable with coding", eventually with time when you are 5-6 yrs of exp, you yourself will be willing to do it, because it will help you in doing your tasks faster... but for now just apply and appear for interview with open mind, even if they ask for coding, just say, "I am not a hard coder, but whatever is required for the job, I am on it".. thats all...

Hello ma'am, I am learning skills for data analyst role but I am not good at in English communication that makes me nervous everytime when I think of interview .... Is communication skills are primary skills to have in data analyst role or not?
Hi Shruthi, Yes comm skills are very important for a data analyst, English can be polished by practice, shouldn't keep you away from being a Data Analyst... Communication skills include- Clarity in your explanation and you are able to communicate what you exactly feel about a certain data... in that way its important, not that you should be able to speak English language like an American...

HoW to become Business analyst as fresher
Hi Tushar, I am assuming you are a btech fresher(final year student), here is my suggestion:
A Business Analyst as a job profile would need you to understand the finer aspects of business and the holistic picture of how a company functions and comes into picture and in engineering we are taught none of that not even 1%.
1. Hiring Fresher for BA:

Basic office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint should be sufficient to get you into the profession.
Mam i am 4yr ece student , i am a bit confused to choose a career. Would data analyst be good? I just want to choose something and prepare for it, as i am left with one more year. But i dont know the career options. Please help me. @CorporateDiaries

Who is fresher
Who doesn't happen any job experience.
When you came from poor family background IT job is always dream for u.
Which ug course is better for data analysis
bsc (maths, statistics)
but mam u said that data analyst is without coding
Dear Rushi, yes to be a data analyst, coding is not required, its just SQL and excel you can start with... later in your career you can choose to learn Python..
@@theCorporateDiaries my skills are SQL and excel am not comfortable with coding so if see any data analyst post they are asking coding knowledge in there qualifications .
And it's been 1/half year for me
@@gulugulu6009 Dear just apply to those positions and show them your portfolio or any analysis that you can explain them.. companies wants to hire capable data analysts, they mention every possible skill they feel could be relevant in finding one, if you could match to their expectations in interview for being an analyst, coding skills become secondary... and don't be so rigid about telling that "you are not comfortable with coding", eventually with time when you are 5-6 yrs of exp, you yourself will be willing to do it, because it will help you in doing your tasks faster... but for now just apply and appear for interview with open mind, even if they ask for coding, just say, "I am not a hard coder, but whatever is required for the job, I am on it".. thats all...
Does data analyst require coding?
👉👉🙋My only Q is, I want to get into data analyst profile. But my education is not related to that. I have B.A degree. Just mention few points while responding. How can I get into this profile.
1, if I take any course from any institute, would I be capable for that??
Absolutely Dear, if you take up a Data analysis course and showcase your skills right, then educational background will become secondary..
@@theCorporateDiaries Thank You for Responding.
Can ba graduate student become successful data science
Dear Brajesh, if your question is that, with just B.Arts degree you can be Data Scientist, then answer is NO.
I have explained the concept in details and the skillset required also in this video: ruclips.net/video/V4PcJolwgvw/видео.html

Sir, I am Pursuing Bachelors in bsc biotechnology from a nearby college but recently I came to know about Data Science and its scope. If I am doing a decent online course of data science and practising some good projects from scratch. Will my bachelor's degree create an impediment for me to get a job in MNCs
Why can't you apply time stamps for different topics

Also most engineers in india have bad communication skills

Hello ma'am, I am learning skills for data analyst role but I am not good at in English communication that makes me nervous everytime when I think of interview ....
Is communication skills are primary skills to have in data analyst role or not?
Hi Shruthi, Yes comm skills are very important for a data analyst, English can be polished by practice, shouldn't keep you away from being a Data Analyst... Communication skills include- Clarity in your explanation and you are able to communicate what you exactly feel about a certain data... in that way its important, not that you should be able to speak English language like an American...
Thank you so much for your reply ma'am...
Could you please suggest me, how can I improve data story telling skill?
Mam cn i get a job in data anayst after 5 yr gap as i was in govt job prep...but now i m attaining skills and making portfolio side by side..and apply for internshp. how to land in job after attaing skills..cn i do internshp directly so that i get real time project experience.plz plz make a video in that..
