The third and final video from the March '19 VMAX event is on our F80 M3 Vyper, we last ran it with our first prototype Hybrid Turbo's and this time we're back having worked to gain even more power, ready to test them out once again.

Your M3 is a beast, minus traction problems. Rolling you pretty much sat side by side against them all!!!
Yes always struggle for traction but once it gets going its very quick...and there is more to come.

Thanks! When hot they would definitely work better, but at these events we need the best possible grip from cold, which so far the PS4S has been the best at.

We had a good race with this car, I think it was your mate that was driving that time, he nearly ended up on the grass just saved it at the last minute, we were in the orange 720s, I have a good video of it

@@EvolveAutomotive yeah it was a good turn out, we lined up against a few things but nothing came close, except another 720s, I just went round the guys and asked if they wanted to line up against us for a bit of a challenge, traction of the line isnt the best but once it hooks 2nd it shifts! We can 2nd as top 2 were joint , we reached 207.84mph, I did give you a nod and a hi 😂

600HP in an F80 is just crazy, especially with so much torque down low. This must be scary to drive as a daily.
BTW. That wiper blades shake at high speed is worrisome, is there a way to fix it?
They are not designed to do that speed lol

Some cars move the wipers in to a ‘high speed’ position but the F80 M3 doesn’t seem to!

We don't get 102 over here. 99 is the highest pump fuel. Launch control is rubbish on the M3 when running higher power.

We do develop for older models sometimes. Depends on if we think there is demand for it

From experience it seems that losing the passenger gives a few MPH more.
It does, we do some runs without passenger and once we know what speed we’re hitting we start doing passenger runs. All about sharing the experience with others!
Great stuff, impressive speed in these cars. Though how comes you're running them from cold..? The oil temp in the 1st run was at the bottom?
The oil temp was correct before the run on the digital guage. The car one starts at 70c which is warm

Same setup with hybrids as me but I'm on full e85. Interested to see the difference with your meth setup. I'm lucky to live like 4 miles from a e85 pump here in the States.
We don't have E85 over here which is a shame.

190 in this car. 194 in the M5
How comes it’s making 605 when pure turbos are running like 700 wheel?
This is on our dyno which reads a lot lower than a Dynojet dyno. Also this is just on pump fuel. No meth or port injection. After crank hub fix we will see how far we can push it.

How’s the crank hub??
We are testing a fix starting tomorrow by fitting. We have been avoiding downshifting to be kind to the engine, but as we up the power more we are concerned about the effect on upshifts also.
We’re testing a solution on our own car and abusing it before offering the service to customers 👍🏻

100%, sadly events are few and far between in the UK so launching is where we have to compete. Some people were starting further back to get a slight rolling start but seems a bit cheating to us 🤷🏻♀️

It’s sort of luck of the draw who we line up against if you want maximum runs. Based on how well the M3 did it wouldn’t have been close against the M5.
