Caylee's mother, Casey Anthony, was accused of murdering her daughter, but during a 2011 trial, she was acquitted. Finding Casey not guilty is one of the absolute biggest injustices in history. Truly failed Caylee.
I will never understand how she was found not guilty.
She had the BEST defense attorney/defense team.
Although I believe 1000% she killed her daughter, everyone has the right to a fair trial, it's just truly unfortunate she was able to afford or somehow obtain one of the best criminal defense teams in this country at that time.
Thank you for having the heart to bring this case back up. It is incomprehensible to me that little Caylee had almost been forgotten.

Casey just wanted to be single and child free to party. She neglected her child and wouldn't just let her mother take care of her. Soneone in prison said Casey confessed to her. Her father visited her during the trial and told her if he could trade places wuth her he would. Right after that, she accused her father. I felt bad for him.
There should be more rights for fathers to take their children from mothers who do not want them.

So sad....I will never forget this case. How that bish was not found guilty is beyond me! I still hear Dr. G's words that no child would be found with duct tape holding their jaw on, unless there was foul play.
Tape over the nose and mouth of a baby or anyone is evil. She taped her nose and mouth up to kill her. Then she stuck child stickers on the tape and over the mouth. Drugging her child wasn't enough anymore. She wanted her child gone.
What we didn't get in a guilty verdict, I feel like we're getting in the court of public opinion because we all hate this bish😂 the only parents I've seen that dgaf about their deceased child are the ones that made them that way👀👀👀
Unfortunately we knew she was guilty but there wasn’t enough forensics to put her away for life.
@SilentHillMyHome How much more? If my child is in my care and my child ends up in a swamp with duck tape around the mouth with a heart sticker on the mouth, then what is the answer? All of the lies about who was taking care of her and that person didn't exist. The truth never came out of her mouth.
@SilentHillMyHome The prosecution asked for the death penalty, and they should not have done that. It should have been life without parole, and maybe they could have got a conviction.

I get a totally different vibe. I get the feeling that the parents forced Casey to have that baby and "take responsibility for your actions." I've heard many a mother talk about how they gave up (pick a profession) because they got pregnant. So I think Casey had serious resentment toward the child but then the kid looked more and more like Casey's mother by the day. Insult to Anger. I can almost hear her voice, "My life isn't ending for you, YOUR life is ending for MINE." It's creepy af, I had this gut feeling back then, I still have it now. No basis whatsoever, it...I feel like I saw it happen. Like a video of her actually saying it to the kid, more than once. Just a really strong gut feeling.
Not making excuses, I'm just still...that "clip" I see/hear in my head is still there after all this time. I'm also the kind of person who needs a WHY for senseless shit like this.
Casey was very jealous of Caylee and yes that is part of way she was killed to take her away from Cindy. Being in control and taking the one thing away that George and Cindy loved dearly. #spitefullbitch
Totally have those kinds of feelings myself so I get it !! I had heard grandma was threatening to take her because Casey was being so flaky and a bad mom. I agree that Casey did it to hurt her parents, especially her mother. She never once asked where Callee was when she got out of jail before trial. I'll never forget this case I remember watching everything on the news and following the court trial it was more than obvious that she did it even the jerseys so that she did it but I remember one of her talking and saying that if they follow the jury instructions they didn't have enough evidence to say she was guilty even though they knew she did it. Such an injustice to that baby girl

If I remember correctly, they clarified during investigation that it was a pigment of her imagination and “zanny” was a make belief nanny she made up . Zanny really stood for Xanax

Ashley Banfield I've been watching you for a long time and I consider you to be fair and even handed. Love your show. Casey Anthony is a hateable woman and as time goes by she will be hated less and less. Susan Smith who? Yeah! As devil's advocate, can Casey Anthony do anything for Caylee very quietly and very personally?
