Hey great video. FYI, I bought the GLE Ludicrous power upgrade for my Talaria and I am hitting 70 mph. Found about it from a guy on youtube SwarmMcReynolds rippin the streets with it. I used his coupon code.
Hey just found your channel, great content btw. Thinking about pulling the trigger on this finally narrowed it down and the mx4 is what I’m eyeing. Just wanted some input I’m 6’1” 230lbs would this bike be a good choice still considering that?
Very cool Matthew! The best unboxing and assembly of the TS I've seen on YT. 👏 It was good meeting with you and your TS at the park. We should ride together and colab on some awesome trails. That Talaria is a beast!
Thank you very much Robert! It was really great running into you while filming an upcoming video. I’d love to ride with you. You can show me some sweet new trails on your bada$$ Grizzly ebike!
Thank you! I haven’t tried out any RST’s but the DNM’s have been surprising. I figured I’d bottom them out and they really have been nice. For me the big seller on the DNM’s was the solid front fender.
At minute 2:29 you take the batter out and into the house to charge I assume. However, for the first charge doesn't the battery need to be connected to the bike? I wasted a day waiting for my battery to charge and thought I had a faulty charger. Then poked around a Facebook group and got some answers.
I had never heard that. I just took it out and charged it separate from the bike with no issue. You do have to plug the charger into the battery before you plug it into the wall but that’s no big deal.
No way man! It is a small world. I’m 6 foot and probably 295. It’s definitely soft but I’ve jumped it pretty regularly and it’s held up. No giant table tops but some decent hops here and there. Whatever you do avoid the RST Killah suspension. Get the DNM bare minimum, Fastace if you want a more cushy ride (video review coming this Friday), or from what I’ve heard the Talaria factory suspension is supposed to be just as good as the Fastace but with the addition of adjustable rebound
@@haveagoodoneyt appreciate the feedback! It looks like a blast! I saw one riding around bridgeland yesterday. I haven’t decided on talaria vs surron yet though. Any specific reason you chose the talaria over surron?
@@TWD234 for sure. I’ll list all my reasons. - taller than Surron - gears instead of belt primary drive - on the fly adjustable regen/engine braking - motorcycle style steering bearings from factory - better fork options (when I bought in April) - less expensive - more off-road focused with steeper steering angle than Surron - I knew I was gonna leave it stock for awhile so parts availability wasn’t a big issue for me - single plug on the battery (I remove to charge every three days) - stiffer chassis They are definitely similar but I’m very happy with my choice in the Talaria. Every reason I stated is still true today, especially the selectable regen/engine braking. I use that all the time.
@@AdventureContinuesAgain you should be able to. Only problem is that the hydraulic lines are different lengths, so you’d have to disconnect the calipers from the hoses, switch them and then bleed the lines. If you’re gonna go through all that trouble I’d say you may as well just get an upgraded hydraulic brake kit for a mountain bike. The standard brakes are ok but definitely need an upgrade for more serious riding. So installing an upgraded system would be a better use of time, in my opinion.
Got error 37 on mine after only 2 rides.. followed the throttle cable down and everything looked fine. Unplugged and plugged back in. Any info on what to do? The error code suggestion says replace throttle…
Bless you hope you really enjoy it, but you didn't say the price, bendiciones que la disfrutes, pero di dijo el precios desde república dominicana gracias, from Dominican republic thank you
@@aylamiller5752 you can use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the stickers and pull them off. Then if there is any left over gunk you can use a product called Goof-Off or Goo Gone to get the sticky stuff off if there is any.
The female owner of Sur Ron over here loves it have almost 1000km on bike

Nice bike. I just ordered mine. An RST. do you prefer RST or DNM forks. Thanks

i wonder if you could use the ratchet straps for later
Do the tools come with the bike as standard or so I need to own some
They come with the bike!

Any tips on charging or installing the battery before first use?
Charge it all the way. When installing it make sure the breaker is turned off before plugging the battery into the bike. Other than that just enjoy!
I’m 6 foot 275 pounds. Do you think I’d have any issues riding on the stock suspension? I actually live in cypress, small world

So yea, you’ll have no problem on the bike. Just don’t expect any shocking or revolutionary performance and you’ll have a good time.

How are the brakes set up? Rear right, front left, like a bicycle? Or opposite like a motorcycle?
Like a motorcycle except no foot brake. So right is your front brake and left is your rear.
@@haveagoodoneyt Is it possible to switch it like a mountain bike? Right rear?

So it's basically a Surron but different company?
Exactly. Some ex Surron employees started Talaria so they could incorporate their ideas into the bike.
