Y'all literally showed me that a lower budget headset (even if it's just 20-40 bucks) can be better if used right (in terms of EQs, etc.). Pretty surprised that the 7Ps are all-around better headsets than the 9s. I was now thinking for over a month what headset I should buy, the 7Ps, the Blackshark V2 Pro, the Logitech G Pro X Wireless or any more expensive Version of a Steelseries Headset. And since I don't wanna spend more than 200 Bucks (or Swiss Francs in my case), I'm down to the 7Ps, the 9s, the Logitech and the Razer one. But so far I probably will go with the 7Ps. No idea if you'll get a chance to answer this but... If you do a bass sweep on the 7p's and have the 64 hz band on the eq set to anything other than zero you get some signal distortion. Do you know if the 9's have this same issue in bass sweeps if the lower bands are adjusted on the eq? Love the 7p's but this drives me nuts to be honest. You guys are great by the way! Thanks!

Looking at this video again it looks like the 7p+ us basically the 9 for ps. I told a friend about the 7p and immersion and figured the 7p+ was a better upgrade. He told me no immersion, and that the presets are focus, smiley and bass boost. Assuming same for the 9's. Also has 10 equalizer channels opposed 6 or 7 on 7p.

It has a smaller USB C dongle, 2. It is compatible with both Xbox(in case I'll ever buy an Xbox) and PS5, 3. the function of the dial on the right earcup. On the 7X you use it to change game/chat balance, and on the 7P it lets you adjust sidetone (hearing yourself talk).
Definitely 7p bro. It is compatible with both consoles and we heard it sounds phenomenal on xbox series x too. We're thinking about getting a xbox so that we can broad out on more headsets/accessories and 7x will definitely be one of them🔥

I like the treble/bass setting but sometimes it sounds like the sound is coming from inside a can idk how to explain.. I liked the reload and gun fire sound tho.. How was the bass on the 7p's?

Check techne he say that sound on 7P it's good but it will not reach 700 even the new 7P + are not better . For me in this range only 700 I play lots of Apex and sound it's amazing

I have the xsx and ps5 and my turtle beach 700g2 on xsx sounds so much better than the 7P on the ps5, it has a lot of distortion with certain games bass sucks and it’s just not as crisp, do the turtle beaches still have the buzzing issue on the ps5 that I’ve heard about? Also how’s the 3D audio?
Dude I bought the 700 gen 2, ps4. Out the box they have noise crackle/popping sound in the PS menu bad and in game, and they also disconnect randomly about every 5 min. They sent out an update that was supposes to fix it so I did that. Nothing. Still sounds pretty bad. So I returned them and decided to pickup the gen 2 max's that came out a few months ago thinking they fixed it. Out of the box they had the same exact popping/crackling sound, and disconnecting. I also updated them and they still had the same issue. Tried them on multiple consoles and they have the same problem. Weirdly on PC there's no problems at all though. I really wanted them to work out because they're such good quality and sound really good from my pc when there's no static noise. And that BT feature is dope too. But sadly I told myself ill never buy a Turtle Beach headset again now lol. $200 for a headset that basically doesn't work for console.
@DT TechTwins I’m on the fence between the steelseries pro wireless and the 7P’s for the ps5 . Now if I get the pro wireless I’m going to have to hook them up through the TVs optical port i’m not sure if that will make a difference or not with sound quality. I also don’t care about all the bells and whistle‘s I strictly care about sound quality only. Any suggestions?
We would have to review the pros for ourselves to give an honest answer. From what we've seen so far arctis 9 and the pro wireless are pretty neck and neck in sound quality and other features for ps5 use being that the 9s cost less but honestly if you strictly care about just sound quality and nothing else we would suggest the 7p. It has great EQ customization, presets and sounds amazing in its own right as well

Can i connect the 7p to an ipad air?
Nope. the 7p doesn't have Bluetooth, but the 9 does. So those would be able to connect to an iPad.
Maybe if you got a "lighting cable to female type-c adapter" then maybe the 7p will connect like that from plugging in its type-c dongle
