- Sup guys, welcome back to the channel! Dane installing his Rough Country 6" Vertex Coilovers on his 3rd gen Tacoma and bringing it up to 8" to sit where he was at with the bilsteins and spacer lift. He said it rides a little smoother than the bilsteins and its a plus that he doesn't have to use a fat strut spacer anymore lol. The external reservoir for extra points! In my opinion, the best bang for your buck 👌🏼

What size hex socket you need to flip the coil over top hat?
Hey dane what size spacer you get on the front struts 2 inchers?
How’s the rear feel with the fat block in the back?? Not too bad?
What exhaust does the blue tacoma have, it sounds sick
How is ur CV axles angled? Is it still stock? Can u show me pics of it? I still wanna use mine for off-roading , missing and all.
3 inch lift is where it’s at koo set up how u like them so far
What lift was on before? Are those 35s?regear? How does it drive?
How does it ride compared to before ?
What’s the setup on the blue taco?
What size wheels and tire setup?
hows the angle of the drive shaft?
What swaybar drop bracket is that?
What exhaust is on the blue tacoma?
Yeeeesssss Sirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! 😉😉🤣🤣 Looks good :) .. Whats Deets on the Blue Taco
How much did you spend for the whole set?
Did you regear?
Lol ! Dis guy funny!
Sweet looking pickup! Get rid of the blocks and get some Deavers.
Would the deavers keep the same height as the blocks did? I’ve been thinking about getting the 10 leaf from Tacoma beast but I can’t find out if it would keep the same height
you forgot to show the beers and pupu`s after the lift work. lol!
Nice upgrade bro, how’s the ride? I have that in my 6” lift tundra but I still feel stiffness at number 1 adjustment, any advice is appreciated
if the adjuster isnt working that good it might be the preload on the spring. You could also goto a lower spirng rate for a softer ride.
any cutting to the cab mount or any cuts on the frame?
Nope, no cutting.
What city/state are y’all in? The weather/vegetation looks nice!
Kapolei, Hawaii. Thanks man!!!
If you know that you could change the rear shock absorbers without first having to lift the truck so much and second without having to remove the tires, why in the first place could those towers with those blocks have fallen and the truck would fall on top of you and second would you join in saving? All that time doing so many things, they were designed by someone who changed shock absorbers on my Tacoma a couple of times.
After install this do I need change cv axle? Thanks
Only if your cv axle or boots have any defect, if not then no need.
What spindles are on here? I need higher spindles for mine these rc spindles aren’t doing me any good
They’re procomp spindles bro.
Hows that OEM needle bearing holding up??
Still going good. Haven’t had a problem on this one so it’s still the original one that came with the truck in 2017 👍🏼
Is the ride good? I have Bilstein5100. I’m thinking about putting these.
Yep, definitely worth the price tag 👍🏼
What's the bracket used for your sway bar
The bracket to hold up the reservoir?
Bro man nice work but you forgot to chalk the back wheel's if you like safety
Team mall crawler 👍👍🔥🤣
😂
Are those the 2nd or 3rd gen Tacoma bilsteins?
I believe they are the same for 2nd and 3rd gen.
Upper shock nut on the driver's side rear isn't tight after you said you took it for a test drive
Faaaakkk u caught dat 🤣 yeah got it tightened down by the end of the day haha good eye
Well that's good you caught it.
Did you order your shocks locally. Truck looks BadAss with that setup!!🤙🏽
Rough country website. Idk who would have these locally
@@Dchigi Mahalo bradda!
@@Dchigi How was the shipping?
@@its_j9331 like 100 somethin i tink
@@Dchigi Nice brotha! What shipping company did you go thru?
Takes off ROUGH COUNTRY sticker… add KING stickers later
Right
@@JesseRizo yeah i added the king stickers all over the side of my truck too to make sure everyone knows I have kings! Its so dope man!
@@Dchigi I need to do that
how high is dane lift ?
8 suspension 2 body
@@Dchigi how did 6 inch fit or u adjust um ?
Do you use that spacer with the 22x14s too?
Nawww the forces are wide enough for me as is. I only use these spacers with the limiteds
@@Dchigi fkn cherry truck!!
Nice work you guys did. I love your tires. Whats the name and size of your tires
Geolandar mt 35x12.5
Thank u
Sick! I run a 3” block with double stacked add a leafs to get the 8-8.5 in the rear. A lot less bouncier compared to a straight 5” block
Good to know!! What brands aal u got?
I run a 5” block AND double add a leaf. Toytec and pro comp and feels close to stock
@@defectahz6399 good to know, i figured woulda been hella stiff
@@Dchigi no ways braddah. He go. Feels close to stock. For the front I got the
Same setups as you bilsteins top notch, gold spacer, 6” spacer and a 1/2” thick spacer on the 6” spacer. Leveled at 9.5”
CV angles kinda but but I don’t go off-road so been good for me
You understand you can adjust the coil overs right? Not meant to keep throwing spacers on top of 🤦♀️
😂 one day ul learn the difference in doing that
I have to agree with you chuck these aren’t stock suspension so your suppose to be able to adjust them 🤦♂️ and I go wheeling every weekend so I do know going this high isn’t ideal and you never want to add blocks atleast to the rear that’s a huge no no but I would’ve rolled many times but to each there gotta still give dane a little props doing it at home those rears are a bitch to get in
@@JesseRizo The only off road its gna see here in hawaii is, sand. Majority of us build our trucks differently here, in order to achieve the things WE WANT this is what we have to do. Not everyone is trying to be a cool OVERLANDER BRO, if I wanted to do that, I wouldn’t have blocks in the rear cause you barely need to even lift the truck to be a OVERLANDER BRO. And again, wit the top hat spacer. Im not trying to crank on my coilover and make the truck stiffer when i can easily do it with a spacer instead and not compromise the stiffness of the truck. Everyone builds their truck differently, it may be your way, it may not.
Thanks for the props tho! A few of ur videos kept me entertained at night n also sold me on spending more money on mods I didnt need, LOL.
Wow that was one janky strut spacer on that bilstein dangerous
Yessir!
you do not show us where did you cut , this is why your video has no much view, dude
We never cut nothing lol.
🤮😂😂😂😂
Stomach trouble? Should get em checked
