Now this is how you lift a truck. Usually when ppl lift their truck this big/tall it looks weird and majority of the components are stressed out due to the lift being this tall. The wheel gap to wheel tire ratio looks spot on and looks really good. Can't wait to see how this build comes along!

You can tell when there’s good work done under I’ve seen some trucks with lifts over 6” and you cut the crossmember wrong and some people will pay through the nose for the repairs research and trial are the key but good workmanship is the other part

This is normal in Hawaii, you will see the locals that live by the beach and hills where it’s rocky muddy have at least one lifted Tacoma & SUV. There’s a lifted Tacoma club in Oahu. I was camping at sandy beach few times back when I was there and the club rolled through, 30+ deep all lifted, it was awesome to see. 💪

Did an upgrade to icon stage 3 with 33s. Thought I'd keep wanting more, but content with it right where it's at. Maybe if i were 20 years younger id enjoy jumping in and out of the truck. 😅

Usually consider certain types of overly lifted trucks to be tacky, but in Hawaii I make 100% exception in this case.
Tacomas/Toyota pickups are a Hawaiian cultural staple in my opinion and exempt from any criticism. Can't say that about any other state.
Very interesting truck. Too bad Hawaiian manufacturing infrastructure, proximity to mainland, and 0 supplier network, makes it DOA to ever have a Toyota truck plant there.
I bet if that happened, demand would be entirely swallowed locally and result in no exports.

Tacoma looks the best lifted, especially when over 5 inch, are the Longbed Quadcabs.... shortbeds are just too short overall......... but looks nice... Now u need a supercharger or a LS swap. Call it good.

but why would you do this to a tacoma? it's not nearly powerful enough to take advantage of such a high platform with such big tires. IT would make alot more sense to build a Tundra V8 like this instead.

The law of physics doesn’t suggest you to lyft truck that high. It’s only good for off-roading at low speed but it becomes very dangerous on highway due to high central gravity.

This was a custom made suspension and we mentioned the wheels and tires in the video 🤙
All that lift and look how far the diffs are off the ground, but does look good, but i guess that's what it's all about nowadays
The biggest contributing factor to gaining axle clearance is tire size. He’s got 42’s, that’s as much as almost anyone is gonna get. Lift isn’t completely useless. It helps clear the tires on the fenders so it doesn’t rub. Also a reason why he didn’t need to cut his cab mounts like mentioned on the video. Try fit 42’s on your stock taco and leave the mounts on there lol. Lift also makes your frame higher so you also gain clearance there, youre no longer at any risk of hitting your frame/bumpers on rocks (rock sliders are a thing of the past). This truck isn’t just for looks, and the fact that you didn’t understand that in over 10 minutes of video is crazy. This video isn’t him proving his truck is better than yours or others, idk why everyone has to make it a competition/comparison.
The engine is not designed to carry this much weight. But hey do you, I guess.
