    Can you replace the sensor without having to fool with the synchronizer?

    I pulled mine out to get at a bolt for the EGR stand pipe thing and put it back in based on how the pigtail going to it was and live data says 14 14.5 15 degrees advance timing so is it good or no ?

    Do you have to put cylinder 1 in TDC, before engaging tool?

  • @ufartface
    @ufartface 3 года назад +1

    there are 2 tdcs and what cylinder?

    • @bgfixit
      @bgfixit  3 года назад +1

      If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be attempting this procedure.

      It's the 1st cylinder, front left. For future reference. Timing marks should be on damper/ counter balance wheel. And the block will also have a timing mark.
