First of all this is a video for removal of a camshaft sensor not a crankcase sensor.I see so many people getting the two sensors confused.I have a 2000 ford expedition 5.4,similar to the truck in the video. You do not have to take all that air intake hosing off. There is plenty of room to reach your hands down and reach that camshaft sensor.Remove the pigtail wire and remove 8mm bolt. Now in this video the mechanic doesnt show the actual removal of the camshaft sensor.Once you remove the 8mm bolt, turn the whole sensor and use both of your hands, put one hand on the electrical connector and the other behind the wing part of the sensor and pull hard,it will come out.Do not use a screwdriver to pry it out.Use both hands. You will see what im talking about.Should take 5 minutes to remove, grease new sensor with oil and reinstall.

Why not take off the disc brakes too ?
I replaced the part without removing any of that stuff.

We need to be very careful at all times, with every part, because if you even farther in the direction of that Ford, something will break.

Taking all the stuff off to take a part out that you can reach without taking it all out. So they can justify charging 4 hrs. Instead of 10 minutes lol

Every video on RUclips and online, always show a newer truck why does not anybody make videos for a 1990 F150 5.0 L crank sensor as I don’t see none anywhere

I do believe that's a crankshaft position sensor

Just did my crankshaft position sensor. That one is located near the A/C compressor on my 98 F-150 4.6. Currently looking on how to do the camshaft position sensor, which appears to be a piece of cake relatively speaking. Trying to fix a intermittent crank but won't start when hot problem, which does NOT set any codes. This part is next up to bat. Have already changed out the PCM while stranded at a store parking lot. Guess what, truck would still not start after the 20 minutes it took me to change it out with the cool PCM.
