This is my favorite basketball game ever and in my opinion the best of all time. I still have my Ps2 memory card with different friends from the past on there. This game is just a pure masterpiece.

I broke this out tonight after about 10 years and didn’t miss a beat ……I also played for about 3 straight hours. The games playability and continuous unlockables makes it impossible to put down . The soundtrack for this was amazing. As this video is titled , this is the greatest sports game ever made. I used to think ESPN 2K5 football was, but my love for basketball is timeless. 2K5 basketball is probably my 2nd favorite basketball game. Thanks for this video and the homage to the GOAT. This video was damn near perfect , much like this game.
My unstoppable lineup was 85 Jordan, Wilt & Bird. Jordan built up my game breaker with crosses & dunks, Bird was my 3 point specialist & Wilt blocked everything. Good days at the crib making bets with my friends

Honestly my favorite basketball game of all time they have the the best of their modern era plus the legends in a setting where style and flair add to basketball yes 2 points are 2 points but when it’s lead by a crossover crossover make the defender fall then go up for a jam then ur teammate asking for the ally oop and u dish it again u gain only 2 points but that was diffrent just like nba street 2, would love to see this game get a modern day remaster

I agree with you that Nba Street Vol.2 is one of the best sports games ever made, and it is for sure the best basketball game ever created. 💯 Beyond its arcade aspect, this game was very technical. My cousins and I and the few opponents we had took the game to a high level. You can compare its depth of play to a japanese fighting game like Street Fighter or Tekken. Through the legendary players present in the game, I strengthened my basketball culture, especially those of the older generation. I became a fan of Wilt Chamberlain through the game, learned about Julius Erving, Pistol Pete, Darryl Dawkins ..... and many others. The only one missing was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but the tribute to the old legends was profound. To reproduce such a game today would be a great task, the developers had really worked with their hearts. The production team deserves to be decorated 🎖for their service to video games and basketball🏀. I play it from time to time on my gamecube, bringing back good old memories. By the way Nba Street Vol.3 and its sequels were really crap 💩. It was a pleasure to watch your tribute video 🎆, and to discover your channel at the same time. No it's not. It's pretty good that most of Vol 2 can be easily transferred to V3. Probably made development easier too.
