First of all, welcome back and I hope you had a great vacation. :) Second, as much as I’ve enjoyed Remake and Rebirth, I have a lot of complaints about the changes in the story and it just makes me appreciate how great the original is. There’s a lot to be said about the mentality of “ genius and simplicity”. I don’t want to spoil anything.
Welcome back! 8:18 - spontaneous Cosmo Canyon singing. That song does do that to people. Small tip on your Yuffie materia set, you have mp absorb, but you need to link it to activate it. The huge materia CAN, indeed, enhance their respective types, but in a different way. They can also do nothing since they each require you to do something to activate. The hint I'll give you: when you complete it, they become "master materia" of their type. If you want, I'll say what to do, but I'll leave that up to you. The weapons start their move!

@@cakerinsha no really! I’m thrilled you are playing the OG first. You’re going to think they are INCREDIBLE! They are soooooooooo good. And i truly think you need to play OG to experience the remakes the best possibly way. You’ll see :)

@@cakerinscakerin I would suggest crisis core before rebirth or there will be parts that do not hit you the same way as when you know Crisis Core. Trust me. Play Crisis Core before Rebirth.
Just wish to note since it is not a lot left of the game and I do not know how far ahead you are from here I wish to say (unless I am too late) before you go to the final area, or if you are in leave it before going to deep, because once to deep in you cannot go back in case you wish to do side quests. :) Like getting Clouds best limit break and among a lot of stuff. :)
So my suggestion is to play Crisis Core, then do a live stream watch party of Advent Children Complete *movie*, then play Rebirth. As someone who platinumed Rebirth I can honestly say I understand if you jump ahead, however Crisis Core and Advent Children are both meant to be experienced before the remake/Rebirth
I’m only about 45 minutes in, so I don’t know if you discovered this yet, but you can land the airship right outside the City of the Ancients , that way you don’t have to go thru Bone Village every time.

I still had 9999 HP 999 MP on Cloud Barret Cid Knights of the round used to KILL the Carry armor boss and Emerald weapon already KILLED by it.
