He had the best Tone. Sence of Touch and ......Everything Else. He carried Them through their Heyday Decade! Don't give a Fuck what Anyone says. Remarkable Drummer rip ! And I'm Not even a Priest fan-boy !
This is an amazing song, brutally simple and bursting with the kind of savage passion that separates mediocre rock from "hell-bent for leather" rock anthems.
@NineInchFailz, as a 64 year old, I can tell you that they were awesome times, but you had luxuries and cool stuff in your youth we never dreamed of. There’s a up and down side to pretty much everything. Honestly, most of the ‘80’s hair metal I could not give a crap about, but these guys were special. Bad to the bone, they were.
This is one of those songs I don't get sick of hearing no matter how many times I've heard it. Since I don't listen to regular radio I don't hear it that much anymore anyway 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That's one of the beautiful things about technology that has been out since, oh, the 50's or 60's, if not earlier. You can listen to literally anything you want at home or in your car. EVERYONE knows radio is trash. Just buy the record, tape, CD, mp3, etc, and bam! You're literally allowed to listen to your favorite music whenever you want, wherever you want!
Wow Ian comes up front to show us he's actually there. NO ego on him, very comfortable being in the background just doing his job steadily and on point as always.
Priest in their prime, I was twenty when Screaming came out and wore more than one cassette out. The Hellion Electric Eye, Riding on the Wind, Bloodstone. Still rocking the fuck out to it today at almost 62. Tipton is definitely in my top picks of the axe masters out there.🤘🎤🎸🥁
*-I don't know if I'm exaggerating but for me his best tour, direct, album, voice, solos, what to say about Rob's voice, the sharp and clean guitars, the thunderous drums and that unmistakable bass.... Simply The Best Epic Of The Gods Of Heavy Metal....Judas Priest Forever 🇪🇨😎.*
Peace and Blessings to your brother and his loved ones! I lost my brother many years ago way too soon. Great music like this reminds me of him often and makes me smile! We’ll never forget and keep smiling ✌️
i was in the crowd at this concert. I know because i met the band i reunion towers , me and my friends was playing on elevators and doors open Judas Priest was standing there, me and 10 friends was only ones there, Rob has a thick English accent in person and a deep voice. awesome group
@schecter5035, idk what it is, man. Someone told me “if you’re into priest, you’re into metal”, but I honestly wasn’t/am not. Pretty much just THESE guys. It’s hard driving and kick ass, and it’s melodic. I mean, these guys had metal hits on pop radio. There’s just something about them. I was 22 years old and living in Memphis at the time. Have kicked myself in the ass for decades for not attending this show.
I consider them a ROCK band mostly but they are also a metal band. Priest was from an era that wasn’t defined by labels like metal, or punk, or rock, or whatever. It was just good music. There are plenty of metal bands that I don’t like and many I do and in my opinion, priest is better than all of them. Their era of music was before metal and it was an era I prefer to later metal scenes. Just my opinion.
I saw Judas Priest many times throughout their career and I would have to say that the 82 tour was the best. I've said it before and I will say it again if you got to grow up in the 50's through the 80's with all the golden classic movies and music, YOU were blessed!
Back in the 80's early 90's concerts were the best! For $12.50 you could see Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, The Scorpions , Ozzy, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Dokken, Loverboy, Krokus, WASP (WASP had one of the BEST stage shows after Halford rolling out on stage on a Harley) Good times! Good tours! Good albums!
I love watching this. Sadly I wasn't born yet when this released, nor did I get into Priest until I was in high school (Angel of Retribution was my first album to listen to), but this song is my favorite to listen to live.
I was there at this tour. Saw their show about 2 weeks prior to this video. They were incredible! Got to surf all the way to the front for last 4 songs.
The Mid South Coliseum or “roundhouse” as it was affectionately known, had some amazing shows through the years, and the acoustics were outstanding, and yes, a fair share of “rasslin” was done there as well. including Lawler’s pile drive of Kaufman.
If you think I'll sit around while you chip away my brain Listen I ain't foolin' and you'd better think again. You've got another thin comin the best hit and orginal video clip is the best in their career
Saw this tour. Never saw any concert that had so much raw energy. Halford and company set the gold standard for rock.
I was there, in Denver.
They were riding the metal wave. Made their mark with it.
@@headshotsongs9465 they invented a new metal wave and saved metal. They didn't ride it.
me too. age 14. they crushed it
Fuel for life tour is better for me.
Twin guitar attack never done better. Notice how Ken is watching Glenn’s fretboard during the rhythm section and keeping right up with him.
Holland...he was the man. Incredible power and groove.
He had the best Tone. Sence of Touch and ......Everything Else. He carried Them through their Heyday Decade! Don't give a Fuck what Anyone says. Remarkable Drummer rip ! And I'm Not even a Priest fan-boy !
My lil bro liked this band... He's gone since 1998... I always think of him...when I hear this band....rock on.... semper fi
Sorry brother!
Oh,memories!!!.
1983 at Camp Johnson when another Marine insist I listen to Screaming for Vengeance. Been a fan since.
❤
Very sorry for your loss.😢
I'm a Judas Priest addict they are the metal gods
This is an amazing song, brutally simple and bursting with the kind of savage passion that separates mediocre rock from "hell-bent for leather" rock anthems.
Some of Rob's smiles during the call-and-response from the crowd should be wallpaperized.
absolutely
The epitome of heavy metal. Long live Judas Priest!
Who the fckkkk gave this a thumb down....Idiots don't know what real talent is.....sickest raw live rock as it gets!!
As a 31 year old I’m so pissed that I missed the raw ridiculousness of the 80s. What a time you guys got to witness holy shit lol
The smile on Rob H.'s - Face as he plays w/ his audience is priceless!
Reminds me of Freddie Mercury and how he worked the crowd.
Dave Holland's timin' is perfect. Wow!!!.
Heavy Metal PERFECTION. Halford is God. The 36 losers who gave this a thumb down have another thing comin’
Never been to concert but I was one of those loyal fans in the background that couldn't afford tickets. Still a True Blessed Fan.
I love how metallic and heavy the riffs are Judas Priest rocks my world they will always be the metal gods

Its crazy to realize that this was 40yrs ago.... still rocking out to this song
Wow Ian comes up front to show us he's actually there. NO ego on him, very comfortable being in the background just doing his job steadily and on point as always.
His girlfriend was Rob's sister, that how he got in the band ('we're lookin' for a singer').

Rob looks so young. Has it really been 40 years? Damn, I’m ancient. And time flies.
One of the best rock leads of all time. Tipton is underrated.
Priest in their prime, I was twenty when Screaming came out and wore more than one cassette out. The Hellion Electric Eye, Riding on the Wind, Bloodstone. Still rocking the fuck out to it today at almost 62. Tipton is definitely in my top picks of the axe masters out there.🤘🎤🎸🥁
Judas Priest are the Metal GODS. Let's hope they keep on rocking for a good long while yet, keeping the Metal faith alive and burning! 🔥🤘🙌👍👏👊🎶🔥
I can only imagine how epic this must have been to see for real

One of the best live bands ever ... what a performance ... 80s attitude to the max.
Rob made metal FABULOUS!
Right On! Whatever floats your boat! Personally I’m non-binary.

Judas Priest with Rob Halford are great, the best among all rock and metal bands 😎👿🤘🤘
The Fuel For Life tour, 1993 was absolutely amazing. Same song. Iconic performance!
