Song composed way way back in 1971 .
And there was another video on you tube where people were making comments like, "KK is the rhythm guy and Glen is the lead."
That comment made me sick! We all know that PRIEST is a "duel lead guitar effort" right? Probably the best there ever was in metal music.
Couldn't have said that any better I'm only 21 and know that. If u watch they're concerts all the way thru they'll switch back and forth
Read k k 's book. Gives great insight on his relationship with Glenn. He's a big part of why kk finally called it quits.
Yes but you have to give a nod to Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman. Also two lead guitarists in a band that changed the metal world..........SLAYER!!!!!!!!
Def Leppard did the same thing to much success.
The first Heavy Metal dual lead
I performed this song (guitar) as my Final exam for my music class in highschool. I passed.
Love Robs head movement and claw scratching during " Take another look around your not going anywhere"
Halford is so genuine 😂
and handsome.. lol 😎
51 years old and still can't believe I never saw Priest Live especially during the early 80s. But I definitely put this tour on the 50in flat pounding out of a pair of Klisph on 11.
I'm 50 finally saw them live for the fire power tour!!! You have 1 last chance for there 50th aniversery!!
@@jaus500 Awesome! I hope they make a stop at Hard Rock in Biloxi. Love Firepower- whole record is fire!
I saw them at the Long Beach Arena in Cali. 1982.
The best rock and roll show. My ears hurt for 3 days.
Saw this concert in Greensboro N.C. [Screaming For Vengeance tour/83]...I caught a drum stick........Was blown away by these guys!
By far the best melodic voice in rock. Total beast of a band!! True rock&roll!! ;)
Behold the greatest heavy metal band of all time!
Remember when MTV would play Heavy Metal concerts on Sat nights. I recorded them all. Watched this one about 30 times.
Nem o black sabbath tinha essa performance ao vivo! Judas estava a frente de sua época.
I am 62 going on 63 and I was 24 years old when this badass concert went on by Metal and the God of Metal Rob halford and Judas Priest..in Memphis Tennessee...
Mr. Tipton and Mr. Downing Genius's at the Helm ... Ripping it Up and Powering it Out 💥 ♦️
A groundbreaking act of their time. Saw 'em at Birmingham Odeon in 1980. Loud & Proud in their prime top of their game in their home town. Sonically superb crowd pleasers. One of the best live acts I have ever seen...
Saw this tour FRONT ROW!
(It wasn’t even in a stadium, it was a community events center 😳)
Yes my child, I worshipped these metal gods at this very concert!! Hail Halford!
There's like a million riffs in this that are awesome as hell 🤘
This tour was the first concert I ever attended(seen MANY since) and it was GREAT. Seems like just yesterday. Time goes so fast.
No matter when, where, or how?
These are the true Metal Gods.
Accept no substitutes!
I got off the bus in Connecticut from a three day trip from California and went to the New Haven coliseum to see this tour along with Iron Maiden and the number of the beast tour.. so long ago but seems like yesterday.
Dave F Wow. Thank u for the story.
I was at that concert too. The old New Haven coliseum, they tore it down a couple years after that.
You got to see two of the greatest heavy metal bands with two of the greatest heavy metal vocalists at their peak. Wow!
Fuck I was there!!! One of the greatest shows ever!!!..NHC was legendary for rowdy crowds and that stupid fuckin escalator that never worked..lol
Hell Yeah, 15 miles from my house, saw this too,
Along with hundreds of great shows at the coliesum. Sadly it no longer exists.
VHS didnt have the best picture quality but the sound quality was great for 1982
This song is just unreal. I feel like I am in the 70s.
so strange knowing that Rob was being sodomized when he wrote this. Poor fella.
@@peaveawwii1 You must be mistaking with the song "victim of sodomy" by Allen Lichner !!!!!
Allen Lichner lol
Al atkins wrote thoses lyrics .
Not Ron
Classic
