I am going to try this with my silk that I can't find a pattern for a blouse and it has a large floral pattern. I want to use the fabric to show the beautiful florals. Can we see the back? It looks so Elegant. That style of skirt with the satin cut on the bias would look Beautiful if the satin is thoroughly Iron on it's shiny side so it is extra polished extra Shiny and ultra smooth. In an Elegant Black colour. I Simply Love It!!! Thank You for Sharing.
Sizing up is always trickier than sizing down. You could tho if there is enough seam allowance for you to seam rip it and sew it closer to the edge of the fabric

I love the idea! I have exactly the same skirt but it doesn't fit at the waist. Do you think I can size it up someway??
