I found having the coats I made, professionally pressed at the dry cleaners gives it a much more polished finish. It just looks so much better, and was worth the minimal cost.
That was amazing. I’ve always had a hard time with the collars so this was vary helpful. Planning on doing a coat I have made a quilted coat that I wear at home. Cause I made it to big With the hood 3 sizes too big but it’s just a house coat. The hemming was a little difficult for me to follow so I will watch it again later. Thank for sharing ❤
This is polyester 'fake' wool that I got just for a tutorial purpose. It's 390 g/m² and doesn't stretch. For a winter coat, go for a really thick wool, around 500g/m².
The Grey fabric that was used in the shoulder, where can it be purchased or did you construct it yourself. And my second question is do you design mens garment. My guys are stocky and wear a 2xx
I would massively appreciate if you can bring back your old tutorial for a grey coat similar to this. Also, any chance of making a tutorial of a coat with a hood ?

@@EserielPatterns I was looking at the old video to get some tips, because I am trying to make a coat out of a pattern I made from my old coat that I disassembled. This updated video is also really great to understand the steps, but the old one had piping around the lining which I really liked, and I also liked that the material was tweed and I can see the direction of the fabric well. So if it is not too much of a hassle for you, if I can see that video again it would be very helpful. I love your classic and elegant style coats and I also love hooded coats, so would be nice to see that video some day! But of course please do it at your own timing, whenever it works for you.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The pattern is definitely worth the price when you consider the wide range it offers-10 sizes, each with 4 height options! This means a better fit right from the start and less hassle with adjustments. Sometimes I even make custom patterns for clients at no extra cost if their size is outside the standard range or if adjustments would be too tricky. 😊
