I just watched iwtv this week for the first time and so I’m going through and watching all the promo/interview stuff I missed when it first aired, and what I’ve noticed the most so far that’s incredibly sweet is that sam and jacob do genuinely seem to be friends. Its not uncommon to watch interviews or promotional content of a cast where they claim to be friends but its apparent to anyone watching that they aren’t that comfortable and don’t actually know each other that well but have to claim to be good friends to keep up appearances, but that is definitely not the case with these two. They aren’t putting on a fake besties act for cameras either, you can tell they just like the other without being over the top about it, it comes across as so organic and natural. It seems like sam is a little more reserved or internal, and jacob might be a little more energetic or extroverted, and they both compliment the other so well. Another reason I think their friendship is genuine and that they really do spend time together is in the way that they seem to mirror each other when they are together, in that screen rant interview they were both sitting and holding their microphones the same way almost the entire time, while the other two cast members next to them were in different positions. Eye contact, leaning in to one another, feeling comfortable enough to interject when the other is talking to add something. It’s really nice to see a cast that genuinely likes each other outside of the show, and it is exactly why they work so well together on screen. You only get that kind of chemistry if your cast has a good relationship with one another
