I recently watched the show twice, i loved it infinitely, and i almost got swallowed up by fandom stuff as one does when starting to obsess with something lol, but i do wonder why do people ship the real actors, Sam & Jacob, so hard? Some months ago people went to Jacob's concert and kept yelling "where is Sam" at him, threw a Lestat shirt at him too, but he's such a nice guy he just accepted it. So now I'm binge watching their interviews and i dont see what their shippers (people who associate them romantically) see at all. In fact, Sam looks somewhat uncomfortable sometimes, Jacob is pretty chill and open about it, but Sam is just.... like, ahhh do yall know we're straight and have ladies right? Lol, just an opinion.

I just watched iwtv this week for the first time and so I’m going through and watching all the promo/interview stuff I missed when it first aired, and what I’ve noticed the most so far that’s incredibly sweet is that sam and jacob do genuinely seem to be friends. Its not uncommon to watch interviews or promotional content of a cast where they claim to be friends but its apparent to anyone watching that they aren’t that comfortable and don’t actually know each other that well but have to claim to be good friends to keep up appearances, but that is definitely not the case with these two. They aren’t putting on a fake besties act for cameras either, you can tell they just like the other without being over the top about it, it comes across as so organic and natural. It seems like sam is a little more reserved or internal, and jacob might be a little more energetic or extroverted, and they both compliment the other so well. Another reason I think their friendship is genuine and that they really do spend time together is in the way that they seem to mirror each other when they are together, in that screen rant interview they were both sitting and holding their microphones the same way almost the entire time, while the other two cast members next to them were in different positions. Eye contact, leaning in to one another, feeling comfortable enough to interject when the other is talking to add something. It’s really nice to see a cast that genuinely likes each other outside of the show, and it is exactly why they work so well together on screen. You only get that kind of chemistry if your cast has a good relationship with one another

Actually what I really like about their journey here filming-wise is the fact how it is shown to us! Like come on, we could see how Five and Lila see each other, HOW BEAUTIFUL they see each other! ❤ It filmed that way, on purpose, with the lighting the angles.. I can tell. And what is true it’s true, Ritu and Aidan both one of the most beautiful person from the TUA cast (plus Jordan Robbins who played Grace, respectively!) imho 😊
