This was sooo so good.
No matter how many times I watch it I feel the same way as I did the very first time I watched it. The message is so powerful and such am impact that it inspired me to preach it to my church. I'm only 16 and gave my first sermon to my church about this and everyone was speechless. Thank you God for sending John to preach this message to me and help me come out of my shell and preach it to my church. Our youth has been so inspired and all I can say is thank you. God Loves Us SO Much that He gave His Only Begotten Son for us, in that while we were yet sinners, He reached out to us with His grace, Eph 2:8,9, no we are not deserving but He Loves us, just as we love our children, even though imperfect, God is Love. Thank you for pointing out how God uses us, though we are imperfect, sinners, by pointing to the faithful men of old, how quickly and easily we forget their sins and faults. I watched this Tuesday afternoon and I met an aethist the next day and I had the courage to speak to her about God and evangelize to her because of this video. I just wanted to say thank you for showing me that even though I'm flawed I am still able to spread the good news.
2 Corinthians 4:7 we now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are just fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God and not from ourselves.
I love this verse because the image is so profound. If we are a clay jar with a light inside how will people see the light. Well they see it in our brokenness, in our cracks and imperfections. God's power is shown in our weaknesses. Thank you for your obedience to God. I have enjoyed your transparency and your videos are inspiring!

John, I don't think you will ever understand, truly how amazing your messages are. God works through you in such a powerful way. Just a video? no way, I have been having a very rough time walking with the Lord lately. All I would do is go to church and then go home and smoke a fatty. All I did was go through the motions. I was called to be a youth pastor but I lost sight and started having sex and getting faded. You are teaching me through God's word that He can use me. It is so hard to understand Him and understand what I am going through or why He can't make life perfect for me. I want to be used by God but 9 out of 10 times I do feel useless. I feel not qualified. Especially in church. This message helped me realize that I can. You have such an amazing affect on my night. Thank you so much.
He's the type of person that I could listen to because he's motivational. I'm tired of those people who stuff down THEIR believes and say that if you believe in anything else you're wrong.

hi Jon. so I found this video and it felt like you were speaking to me. I come from a broken family. I've suffered parental abuse and abandonment, and later I dealt with relationship violence. I often thought I wasn't good enough for anyone, especially God, and started going down a horribly destructive path. but then God helped my turn my life around when I was my most broken and at my darkest point. I live for God now, and try to spread His word as much as possible. I realize that while I'm not perfect, I am perfect for the life and the plans that He has for me. I hit rock bottom and He said, nope, I'm not done with you yet.
Wow. Almost in tears. This is exactly what I needed to hear. There are so many times I have felt unworthy. Praise the God of David!

God forgives, people don't. if God be for us, who can be against?. God uses anyone...he is the one that makes us "clean " gives us a fresh start. he knows we're imperfect but choses to use us anyway because of his great love for us, that way he gets the glory from our lives because it was nothing to start with. if we were perfect, he wouldn't get the glory but us.

I have been through alot in life. I have been molested, raped, beaten. Went to hell and back. And your message is what is needed in a time when you feel all hope is gone. Sometimes we need to HEAR the word of God. I survived alot and your message is the truth. Keep talking and spreading His word. You show hope when darkness falls.

Wow. Haha. Three and a half years later and this video is still reaching people. Thank you for your videos. Even though i found them a little later than you posted them, I think I found them when I needed them. I really needed this to help me rember God. I've been falling away so much. And I'm so glad that these are still here three and a half years later. Thank you.
Amen. The highest form of love is forgiveness.... No matter how damaged, or unworthy you feel.. Our most highest forgives us of our wrong doings, heals our thoughts so he can continue to use us as a vessel.
Not Qualified is where he starts, I so believe this. I've been studying Exodus, where Moses was selected by God to deliver, to serve God. I really enjoy the gift of Ministry God has called you to. God is having you feed me with his word. I keep you in my prayers to keep you humble.

Thank you for being open and honest. I see a lot of pharisees in the church today and by no means am I perfect but it breaks my heart. Thank you for allowing God to use you and understanding that you're not defined by your past mistakes but by a perfect and holy God.

I wish I could give you the credit behind these videos. However, I know better then that. But as for you, thank you for allowing the Spirit to speak through you. Thank you for being that vessel that will carry God's message to others. I face many obstacles on my own to carry His message. I have a face tattoo and just out of prison on drug charges almost 2 yrs ago. I face....."God would never choose her" more then I would like, but for my Savior, I can endure all things. I suffer loss and harsh words, but he took it all

Thank you, Jon, for your amazing grace, a God-given gift. How many times have I reflected backwards, trying to find that exact moment, when I was righteous? When my relationships were perfect? When I was perfect? NEVER, outside of Jesus Christ. I long for the day when we know longer see through a glass darkly, but will see ourselves as we are NOW seen by Him-clothed in His righteousness! Your message is brilliant, and simple-just like Jesus Christ....:)
I work as a food delivery cyclist in Berlin, Germany. I see many faces and different places... Jon, this message I heard today and I needed to hear each word you said. My daughter died on December 2016. I knew about Jesus when I was a small girl, thanks to my Grandma... *I want to walk each day with Christ Jesus.* ... I can't wait that day to be with my daughter and my grandma again... Yes, where sin abounds, Grace abounds more. I have separated myself from the darkness, where I liked in the past to stay. I am a soldier like you all. Be Brave. 💛
I too share the word of GOD but my looks and what i did in the past makes people look down to me and say i do not Qualify, they say i pretend, But i thank God that you made me feel special too, I pray that God Protects and make them realize that God is able.

I have that fear of failing to live a Godly life, that people at my church look at me and say she knew it was wrong, but she still made that mistake. I'm afraid to move forward, because I fear of sinning and being condemned. The Lord saved me from suicidal thoughts, and I'm leaning on him for strength and courage. Your video certainly helped me a lot, and i pray for us here in our country to have more people like you all who are willing to walk side by side with constantly sinful people and not being judgemental. If I can get into any support group or get more videos I will really appreciate it. Blessings

Jon, I have been praying for clarity as I keep being told that because I’m just beginning my journey with god and have self harm scares from when I did not trust him that I am not qualified to help anyone else come to god or grow closer to him. That man is completely and utterly right. His words pierced my soul like a cold sword penetrating a heart. His imperfection made him perfect for the job. I only pray to God above that I could be used for His glory and majesty, so I could positively influence others just as this man had influenced me.
I love how genuine you are and how you stand up in boldness... I can't imagine what you have been and gone through in order to share the message. this is so good it got me into tears. i am struggling to keep God's words in my heart everyday. I often forget how far i have come with his grace in my life. Glory to the Almighty
Oh my, this reminds me of the words of a song I wrote, but I never managed to find someone to write music to it. I still have the words, but no music after over 6 years. I forgot about my gospel song, this has brought it back to me. Hopefully one day God will send the person and singer to complete this work that started with me. Thank you for this true message. I am a bigger sinner, no where near perfect and God uses me continually, I am so humbled by it and cannot thank God enough for it.

This is an amazing spoken word, on top of that its a divine sign. All my life I've succeeded, failure was never a part of me. When I realized that I don't control my life as I once thought, it was a rude awakening. But understanding that God doesn't seek perfection, but those willing to profess his name, and spread his word and his teachings forget the fame. You've allowed me to sleep in peace knowing that he'll keep me at ease and keep me with my head up high praising him, glorifying him everyday that goes by, my testimony is simple he's the God who saves, he is the God of life. You are not worthy until he gives you new life, so to those who said you weren't qualified please reevaluate your life, but most importantly your love for Christ.
Glory be to God for this message. I'm thinking about what Jon said. and I believe I can sometimes be a hypocritical Christian but later on I remember, "I am not the Judge. How am I different? I am also a sinner. I don't know what's this guy is going through or who he was but if he's working for the Father, then bless him."

Wow this was so beautiful that I cried, I feel just like this, I'm a Pastor but I've never been to a major seminary or College, but Jesus chose me and ordained me none the less in spite of my past, in spite of all I've ever done to mess up even in my walk with Christ he chose me. What a might God we serve, I am truly humbled, broken, awe struck and thankful to be called his son. :)

It has been almost 2 weeks into my WYA transformation. Every day I found one thing I wanted I do to benefit someone else. And one thing I wanted to work on about myself. When I first saw your message to women I sobbed, tonight I watched it again beaming. Feeling adequate, loved, real, open, and like a submissive child. I then watched this. It is not ironic, it was meant to be seen. Tonight. Thank you.
I love all the messages. They speck truth and although so many others presume a God fearing God who has rules who punishes those who defy him that's not the God I know. The God I know saved me from ending my life. Always listening and never leaving my side. God sent his only son to die for us so we didn't have to end our lives because we though we were not qualified or felt worthless. A book I encourage you to read is The Shack by Paul Young, That book although may be fiction changed my life.
This video, as well as every other video you've made, I've loved. I feel like I've been inspired. It gives me hope and helps me make sense of it all. That maybe perhaps there's a chance that God is still working with me. That he'll still take me in after all my sin. It reminds me that God loves and I really truly admire the message you're spreading. So thank you.

Anyone called to speak the word of God and help others is QUALIFIED! I personally feel the intent of your videos and they speak to my heart. You remind me that God is love. In a world full of hate that is awesome! Who ever told you that you are not qualified is missing the point. A friend and I started homeless outreach in Jan 2015. When we reached out for help from the local organizations we were told our services were not needed. I know God called us to do this. I know that the 80+ homeless people we feed a hot meal to every Sunday out of the trunks of our cars on the side of the road would disagree with that statement. With the help of donations from family and friends we've provided clothing , shoes, toiletries, blankets and much needed information that a lot of people didn't know was out there. Most of all we provide hope, love, affection and acceptance. We remind them that they are just as worthy and loved in God's eyes as anyone. Obviously God feels we are qualified and His opinion is the only opinion that matters. God bless you Jon. Please keep the videos coming!

Hi! I'd just like to say, I love these videos. I'm non-religious but the messages are lovely. I suffer from depression, and these videos speak wonders. Of course though, I have to translate them into my own message since religion has caused me so much pain. It's powerful though when I think of it as working for my friends, my loved ones and family. When I think of how I should, and can put effort to make the world a little better, where ever I can. I love the people here, religious or not, man or woman, depressed or amazed... I love this world. Regradless of how you view this video's message... I find it beautiful.

I just want to say that the people who think you don't have the right to be this kind of motivational speaker for the good of humankind are the enemy as you would say, and you're right whether you feel unqualified all that means is you still have room for greatness. As a poet & a tomboy ( a girl who likes sports among other things ) I can so relate to him. I don't fit in any direction but the "church" says I should be because we're all supposed to fit this "perfect " mode but this poem says that I'm perfect just the way I am & not have to fit into the "church mode"

It hurts to read peoples comments, saying how terrible their life is. Im here to help people like you to get rid of this darkness. Dont worry, love. Everyone at some point in their life has difficult problems which they might think is impossible to solve. But with god, nothing is impossible. Just hang in there, friend. God will take care of the problem when he thinks the time is right. Pray to him constantly that he will fix things. Belive he will do it too. If you dont have faith, then it wont work as quickly. Hang in there, it will be over soon! :)
