Im in that now, every once in a while...someone is also out there feeling the same way. Sometimes we need to hear and remind ourselves we are worth it. Remind ourselves that besides god, WE got ourselves and love ourselves first before anyone else. We are stronger than we give ourselves credit for. Getting up everyday and a positive attitude takes alot of strength but we do it because we are strong and we keep taking that next step toward a better day. My home life isn't the greatest, nor is it the happiness. I feel so lost, confused, and worthless. I feel like a ghost walking this planet trying to figure out what my soul needs to do to be set free. There have been many nights where I wanted to end my life, and at times I still do. This made me so happy. The fact he mentioned ester. She has been my favorite in my bible sense I was a kid but also my grandmas name was ester, she was beaten my her husband and worked for everything she ever had. She raised 5 kids of her own and helped raise her 11 younger siblings. My grandma was a strong women, I didn't know her but from the stories I've been told she was.

Tonight, as I was talking with her after she was released from the hospital three weeks ago, she proceeded to quote your video verbatim. Word for Word. The words that she stated pierced me. Not only because it made me think of this video but because it made me realize that videos such as this transforms our lives. Please, do not stop what you are doing. That is such a touching story! People that are dealing with trials such these need to know that God loves them no matter what they do. We will sin. It’s just a part of life. Only one person was perfect and “without fault”- Jesus Christ. And He suffered our many afflictions so that He could help us. To complete the Atonement, He then gave His life for us in a cross in Calvary after being mercilessly mocked and scorned by those who wanted His power.I testify that the Holy Ghost will help us through our many trials. That doesn’t mean if we are righteous, that we won’t face challenges. It just means we won’t face them alone.

Thank you for making such a beautiful and powerful video! I wanted to share my story so here it is:) God bless! I will never forget the first moment I experienced Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. At the time, I was four years old and barely able to sit still during church services. On this day, our teachers gathered us into a circle and told us, “Today you can accept Jesus Christ into your heart” I closed my eyes, folded my hands and I felt my heart beat with passion. I felt the love of no other, that my face couldn’t help but glow in excitement. Accepting Jesus Christ into my heart felt like it was the beginning of an unbelievable journey. That day was the first day that I asked Jesus to be apart of my life. I grew up in a practicing Christian family environment with my older brother Jeff and my parents Marilyn and Greg. My family would attend church every Sunday, including holidays. Our church choir would light up the stage with their performance with every type of instrument and the most talented vocalists. The music was one of my favorite parts of attending church because it was my own way of communicating with my savior. Also, music was my way of expressing my love and loyalty to him. Our church was always filled with such passion that you couldn’t walk out of the building with out feeling pure love for Jesus Christ. However, by the time I reached my teens I started to lose touch with my faith. Even though my religion meant the world to me, I was never prepared for the judgmental world ahead of me. I even wonder how I began as a happy child that always smiled and laughed and then have that happiness ripped out of my hands like it never happened. In the seventh grade I was bullied so badly that I development an eating disorder called Anorexia. People would constantly call me hurtful names that I became obsessed with trying to fit their standards. I was trapped so deeply in this routine that I finally broke down to the point were I became severely depressed. I lost every hope of believing that I was more than a number on a scale. While depressed I struggled with my relationship with God because I blamed him for my own mistakes. Society’s twisted image of beauty had affected me so badly, that I didn’t think of myself worthy enough unless I skipped a few meals here and there. Also the pressures to be perfect really pulled me away from reality to the point that I lost my enjoyment in life, and most importantly confidence in myself. I had fallen so far off God’s path that there were days that I thought I didn’t deserve his forgiveness. However the truth was that I needed to believe in myself just like Christ had always believed in me. I prayed every night for God to show me a way out. And one-day God had answered my prayers; God had given me the courage I needed to fight for my life. Jesus made me realize that I had the strength all along. Even though I found the courage to change my life, it was never easy. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I repeatedly told myself “it’s either now or never”. I believe relationships are never perfect therefore my relationship with God has had its ups and downs but God was always there for me. Having Depression or an eating disorder can seem like an embarrassment to most people but I see it as my strength. It’s not something I’m ashamed of because without it I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I’m no longer a prisoner in my life because I’m not only changed on the inside but as a Christian I’m changed for the better. Even though it’s apart of me now and in some ways always has been, my past has not destroyed me, nor does it define me. My past has only strengthened the person I’ve become. God has been my guardian angel through all these difficult battles I’ve faced. Therefore, I now live by the verse “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13)

To complete the Atonement, He then gave His life for us in a cross in Calvary after being mercilessly mocked and scorned by those who wanted His power.I testify that the Holy Ghost will help us through our many trials. That doesn’t mean if we are righteous, that we won’t face challenges. It just means we won’t face them alone.

At least ten years ago I saw this video, and it stuck with me ever since… at least 10 years later I still come here to watch it again… maybe that because some of us (some women) tend to forget our value, and this is the most refreshing encouragement to come back to our senses, remembering why was it that we were so valuable… the answer of course being God’s inexplicably huge love for us ❤️

I will never forget the first moment I experienced Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. At the time, I was four years old and barely able to sit still during church services. On this day, our teachers gathered us into a circle and told us, “Today you can accept Jesus Christ into your heart” I closed my eyes, folded my hands and I felt my heart beat with passion. I felt the love of no other, that my face couldn’t help but glow in excitement. Accepting Jesus Christ into my heart felt like it was the beginning of an unbelievable journey. That day was the first day that I asked Jesus to be apart of my life.
I grew up in a practicing Christian family environment with my older brother Jeff and my parents Marilyn and Greg. My family would attend church every Sunday, including holidays. Our church choir would light up the stage with their performance with every type of instrument and the most talented vocalists. The music was one of my favorite parts of attending church because it was my own way of communicating with my savior. Also, music was my way of expressing my love and loyalty to him. Our church was always filled with such passion that you couldn’t walk out of the building with out feeling pure love for Jesus Christ.
However, by the time I reached my teens I started to lose touch with my faith. Even though my religion meant the world to me, I was never prepared for the judgmental world ahead of me. I even wonder how I began as a happy child that always smiled and laughed and then have that happiness ripped out of my hands like it never happened. In the seventh grade I was bullied so badly that I development an eating disorder called Anorexia. People would constantly call me hurtful names that I became obsessed with trying to fit their standards. I was trapped so deeply in this routine that I finally broke down to the point were I became severely depressed. I lost every hope of believing that I was more than a number on a scale.
While depressed I struggled with my relationship with God because I blamed him for my own mistakes. Society’s twisted image of beauty had affected me so badly, that I didn’t think of myself worthy enough unless I skipped a few meals here and there. Also the pressures to be perfect really pulled me away from reality to the point that I lost my enjoyment in life, and most importantly confidence in myself. I had fallen so far off God’s path that there were days that I thought I didn’t deserve his forgiveness. However the truth was that I needed to believe in myself just like Christ had always believed in me. I prayed every night for God to show me a way out. And one-day God had answered my prayers; God had given me the courage I needed to fight for my life. Jesus made me realize that I had the strength all along. Even though I found the courage to change my life, it was never easy. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I repeatedly told myself “it’s either now or never”.
I believe relationships are never perfect therefore my relationship with God has had its ups and downs but God was always there for me. Having Depression or an eating disorder can seem like an embarrassment to most people but I see it as my strength. It’s not something I’m ashamed of because without it I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I’m no longer a prisoner in my life because I’m not only changed on the inside but as a Christian I’m changed for the better. Even though it’s apart of me now and in some ways always has been, my past has not destroyed me, nor does it define me. My past has only strengthened the person I’ve become. God has been my guardian angel through all these difficult battles I’ve faced. Therefore, I now live by the verse “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13)
