Part 3 of the MICHELIN x Starward G*Astronomy Series, profiles Mélisse, Santa Monica, which first earned its stars in 2008 and has now regained two MICHELIN stars in a new space off its iconic Los Angeles restaurant, Citrin.
Chef Josiah Citrin shares the passion and collective pursuit of excellence at Mélisse as he showcases two of his luxurious dishes: Chicken and Rice - beer vinegar, preserved truffle; and Liberty Duck “Rouennaise” - quince aioli, endive, saucisson; paired with Starward Whisky cocktails Beast of Bourbon - Starward Whisky, Walnut Liqueur, Cinnamon Demerara, Lemon, Peychauds, Burnt Rosemary; and One of These Nights - Starward Whisky, Bigallet China China, St. Germain, Bitter Truth Lemon Bitters.
