Knox is back again at EICMA. As well as exhibiting on our own stand, we take a bit of time out to check out the latest new models for 2024.
The fourth video in our series from EICMA is a quick first look at the 2024 KTM 990 Duke.
KTM's middleweight naked bikes are market leading in our opinion and deliver serious performance and serious smiles! The new 990 DUKE looks to set that bar even higher. With a more powerful motor, new chassis and better stability, hopefully, it will deliver. However, with some questionable finishing and one of the most polarising front headlights we've seen in a while, hopefully the KTM is launched not on the back foot.
Hopefully, we'll get the chance to ride one soon!

If you travelled back pre-2000 and shared a photo of that bike, 90% of people would assume that KTM had suffered a front-end smash.

The headlight gives the front an unfinished or just crashed look. Sorry KTM, the Husky's look more resolved head on.
Not gonna lie I hated the headlight at first.. now I LOVE it lol. Honestly, the old headlight looks extremely dated now to me...

Asking for my knowledge. Do the fairings hide any equipment? Or can you get rid of them and still run the bike?
Price is MT10 territory, I know which I would go for.

The front looks so bad and unfinished. Too bad, I was gonna buy this bike.. but now I'm pretty much certain I will be going for a MT-09.
