The 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro represents the best off-road truck the Tacoma lineup has to offer from the factory, but do you really need to spend up to $50,000 to get a great off-roader? Love my 2017 TRD Off Road and no issues since it was new . Don't go off road much but it's gotten me through every major snow storm we have ever had!! And it tows my boat just fine. Have owned Toyota Tacoma's since 1994 and I am a ex GM technician!!
I’m just obsessed with the look of the trd pro. If you are going to do aftermarket mods and really build it up to your choosing then def get the off road. If you just want a capable beautiful looking truck off the lot and not want to do too many aftermarket mods then the trd pro is the way to go. Can’t go wrong either way with a toyota truck.
My TRD Off Road has taken me damn ner everywhere and in stock form.
Toyota power brother 😈
I had a 95 Toyota truck stock back in the day and we beat the hell out of it 4 wheeling and sold it still running well!
I just ordered my Toyota TRD Off-Road and is due on on the 30th of July! CANT WAIT!
i mean it is a light truck with a twin turbo v6
Always appreciate you guys videos. Unbiased and relevant to the 4WD enthusiasts, not like a lot of other channels focusing on how many cup holders there are😂😂
Thanks for this. I hope you continue to do trim level comparisons for those looking to buy!
This is excellent advice. I've been looking at which truck I want to get next and came to the same conclusion about the Tacoma. Better to save the money up front and buy a better suspension system than what you get with the higher trim.
Love your videos. Always to the point and very user friendly to those who are not so knowledgeable. You have the heart of a teacher and seem to really want to educate people. I just ordered a 2022 TRD Off Road. I thinks it’s the best value for those of us who want a solid and dependable everyday driver that can handle more than just a dirt road.
Thank you for this. Im glad I purchase this bad boy at that price as I will be doing my own upgrades. This review got me more confident at not backing out of the purchase as I am still waiting for my truck to arrive. It's been a week now and I'm hella nervous and excited. 😉
Well done again. I chose the SR and built my own. Bumpers, full skid plates, rock rails, cab and bed racks, desert air intake, wheels, wheel spacers, mild lift, winch, bed cover, locking rear diff, and full recovery and camping gear. And I saved a butt load over the off road.
That seems the way to go to me. Wind up with a more capable and durable truck. I'm looking to run one in a ranch situation where at least 70 percent of its life will be on dirt. It will leave in a body bag, trade in value is irrelevant.
I have the same truck, same color, just a manual. Awesome vehicle
I just got a '21 barcelona red TRD off road on oct 31st. LOVE it! also had mud guards, floor mats, QI wireless charging, and the TRD LED headlights and fogs
Great video! Another alternative is the truck I just got - a TRD OR with the TRD factory PRO lift kit (plus bigger wheels and more aggressive tires). All the capability of the TRD Pro, for $6K less! Only had it for a week, but I love it!
Not if you get premium package on your TRD OR , just bought one and msrp was 43k
@@ptown19929734 have to ask are you hispanic? Lmao
André, way to tell it like it is! You should do a video comparing the build-and-price of the OR to the Pro, and then look at what it would cost to get the off-road features in the aftermarket. Not the bling, just the stuff that will match the Pro's off-road capabilities.
I'd probably get a TRD Off-Road...mostly because I can't afford the PRO. lol
I have both. Both manual and I still prefer the OFFROAD model. Hope that makes you feel better about your choice.
Evilutionary lol 😂 same here !
What’s the difference between the two? Fox shocks and tires?
Spartan 0703 fox shocks and wheels, tires are the same, you can get 2in lift nice set off road tire and nice wheels for around 3k
animexsimp nice
Another option which I chose in 2019 is the “off road premium”
And with the addition of factory TRD, dealer sourced parts I have a unique and capable pickup.
You gotta love that moon roof glass.
I bought a 2020 TRD OFF ROAD long bed because you guys recommended it. And by saving lots cash I will build the Overland rig of my dreams and take it down to Patagonia in a few years !
Thanks TFL
How is your vehicle loaded? this video makes me think the longer bed is the way to go.
I got the same EXACT truck! For the same exact reason. I can use that $10k to put a full coilover suspension, wheels and tires, racks, tents and all!
I have a 2019 TRD OR and I had the same choice to make. Except in Canada - where I am - the price difference between the Pro and the OR is a bit more than $14 595. And I did throw the saved money to roof rack, bed rack, RTT, and a bunch of other overlanding goodies. Trivia note - In Canada, we can only get the TRD OR with the short bed.
Do you by any chance know if you can mount a pro grill on an off road? The grill that says Toyota? I know he said there were sensors in there which is why I’m asking
Me too!.. I'd rather spend 10K on upgrades to my off road.. :)
@@artbv3258 yes, you can get an aftermarket Pro grille
TRD Off-road 2019 Tacoma was the one I got. Has crawl, has the 4x4. You don’t need much else.
Love that truck. Had one just like you were talking about. (Long bed). Switches to a tundra when we had kids. (Safety reasons). Now there older and I’m switching back. Very excited, you answered every question going on in my head 👍🏻
I would buy the TRD Off-Road with the longer bed for over landing and extra gear. Thanks Andre great information about the TRD Off-Road truck. Keep the truck videos coming totally enjoy them.
TRD Off Road cement grey 👍🏽
Thats what Ive got too, love that truck
me too....4 door long bed....
@@paulverstraete9157 got that too, awesome truck
That grey looks hot AF 🔥
Same, I got a cement OR DCSB
I just completed a 2 year contract in Saudi Arabia working in the dessert.Toyota pickups are the only ones that last a really long time and still keep value ,the rest are scrapped fairly quickly -seen land Cruisers with 900 K km's which is really good considering conditions. If you stick to the asphalt roads Ford Crown Vic's never die.
Ford Crown Vic’s use a whole engine’s worth of oil per day.
@@Big.W. Haha true in Saudi that is no problem, water for the coolant system may be a bigger issue sometimes.I saw crazy km's on these things they are imported as cheap used cars and maintenance done from thereon is lets just say lightly
I have this exact truck and i love it. I just upgraded the suspension, added skid plates and tires and i'm still in it for a lot less than the trd pro.
Thanks Andre, love the Tie-yota TRD Off-Road compared to Tie-yota TRD Pro review. Great job!
When I bought my TRD OR the dealer wouldn't negotiate on the PRO so I saved a lot more going with the OR. In fact it's gone up so much in value in its first year that it's trade in value is higher than what I paid for it. The prices skyrocketed when the 2020 model came out
The bro tax hit the Tacoma’s hard
Good thing I got my 2019 Tacoma TRD brand new 2 years ago for 34k now like the guy said the off roads are 37k ! Crazy
@@carlosvega2962 sure, sell 'em. then figure out how to get back into a truck you want for same money... I have a 2018 that I much prefer to the 2020 (what was new then) and a heck of alot more than the 2022...
I have a ‘20 off road with the manual and getting the manual was an amazing decision. What’s also nice is I have the LED headlights too, they’re offered on every truck other than SR and SR5 with the technology package 2 and higher
Looking at a 2018 manual off road. Happy with it still?
@@ryanjv absolutely. Especially living where I do, with constant snow fall 9 months out of the year, the manual is absolutely the perfect choice
@@joshuaaguirre8065 I have the same truck. Still drive my Subaru more, but the configuration you have is the best value.
Ive waited 5 years for this review, and it came 4.5 years too late. 2016 TRD DC MT and loved every minute of it.
Your must have read my mind with this video: I purchased a TRD Pro, Double Cab w/extended bed 2 months ago for the reasons you mentioned. Customizing the vehicle is in the future, but for now, my wife and I are enjoying the vehicle as is: We can go, where we want to go right now, as is.
Agreed! It’s what I did in 2018 (white TRD off road). Around $35k. Just about to start the mods.
35k is great. In southern CA about 10k more
I got a 2020 SR5 with the 6’ bed. Already started customizing the way I want without obnoxious stuff like fake hood scoops and snorkels and stickers. And it’s dumb but having a sunglasses holder is more useful than off-road crawl controls and off road modes to me 99.999% of the time haha
I went with the SR and the Sunglasses holder was one of favorite features. Lol
Manual Transmission Off Road has the Sunglasses Holder too.
Rear locker????
@@dumpsterfire3382 would be nice to have the locker but I don’t need it personally. Haven’t missed it yet. I’m not a serious off-roader. I’m a Home Depot and dump run dad who occasionally will take a trip to the Sierras or up to Tahoe. I’d buy a manual 2 door jeep and not a truck with a 6ft bed if I was hitting up Moab.
Edit: and I live in the Northern California valley btw, weather and snow is no issue for me.
You're right.... That's why I have a TRD off road. I ripped out the body rolling, brake diving, bottoming out suspension and replaced it, with 3 inches of lift while I was at it. A set of 33 inch KO2s, deleted the sway bar and now it's a proper overlander!
Bought my 2018 Tacoma 4x4 TRD OR , DC premium package with leather , brand new with 5 miles on ODO best vehicle/ truck I have purchased in 28 years I love it and will end up keeping it till I die , fox coil overs in front and fox + reservoirs in the rear with nitro 4.88, sitting on TRD pro wheels , 265/75R16 toyo AT2 , Prinsu roof rack , I can’t stop driving it I like it so much so capable off road , I ❤️ it !!
Get a base 4x4 and use the savings to customize your truck. The fox shocks, wheels and tire and skit plate are cheap and lift it 4 inch and you will have a trd for under $35k
I don’t think the sr5 comes with a rear locker?

Baber Barbell I prefer no fender flares as well.
Bought a trd off road 4x4 double cab short bed last week, and I did some off roading this weekend and its a great truck
Is it true the front does not lock? So it’s a 3x4 using brakes to control slip?
Would you get the short bed over the normal one?
@@johnmadsen37 if that's your logic, I'd call it a 3.5x4 because of A-Trac.
On my 2nd trd offroad. I've been able to do everything stock. If you want superb fuel mileage, get 4.88 gears. You will actually use 6th gear on the highway, and not hunt for gears constantly.
Could you guys do a "best bang for your buck" series on midsized trucks. Meaning at what point are you getting less utility for every dollar increase. Similar to this video. What would be the most capable and affordable trim of each class. I would be very interested in your opinions.
This video IS that video. The Taco off road can be had with the manual for a little as $36k, the next closest is the Ford Ranger xlt fx4 at $41k, then the Zr2 for $45k to start, or you can go up to the gladiator manual at around $52k. The Taco is by far the better deal.
Best bang for your buck is to get a full-size truck. More power, more torque, more room, smoother drive, same or better mpg, just a little more expensive than the overpriced midsized markups.
Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is the best bang for your buck/most capable off-roader on the market. Sticker starts in the low $40's but dealers will sell them for upper $30's. Considering it has front and rear lockers, off road tires, more horsepower than the competition, and the 8 speed automatic transmission, there's no comparison. It also drives just as well on the street as a family sedan....even with the off road tires.
I'm not sure about the Ford Ranger with prices but I think the best bang for your buck is probably the Nissan Frontier with the Chevy Colorado a close second. I know I got my Colorado pretty heavily discounted for around 34.5k when it was just shy of being under 41k MSRP for example.
Although the Nissan Frontier isnt as appealing and reliable as a Tacoma, I feel like the Frontier is the best bang for your buck. I see 3 year old Frontiers with 35,000 miles selling for around 19k. A Tacoma is almost double that price for same year and mileage
Not going to lie, I almost purchased a 2019 TRD Pro 4Runner because of the color (voodoo blue). I ended up purchasing a TRD Off-Road... the price difference was $15,000. The dealer was willing to discount the TRD Off-Road but not the Pro. "I can't discount the TRD Pro because people will pay sticker for these in voodoo blue". Cool, I respect the honesty.
Out here the voodoo blues were well above sticker. The cheapest I found was $65k while another dealer had theirs marked up to $74k. I also went with a '19 Off-Road instead. I really wanted that voodoo blue, but I'm glad I didn't spend that much money. Especially now that my rig has some trail damage under its belt.
TRD PROs are like 86,87 e30 m3 could not negotiate with the price or lease them at the time
@@-bh So, take it to your local paint shop and have them blue it up. lol. What will Toyota do? Sue you?
Can’t you get it custom painted...
W W I’ll probably do that eventually. I don’t feel like I’m particularly harsh on my ride, but the OEM paint seems to chip if you look at it wrong.
I have been wanting a TRD off road since they came out. It's definitely the sweet spot in the Taco lineup.
I bought a new 2019 TRD DCSB Off Road in Jan 2019. I own a horse farm on a river, and my main business office is 60 miles away. On our farm I use the truck's 4WD capabilities all over our small trails, up and down muddy river areas AND it's my daily driver for business. I should add - while we have 5 vehicles - though not the most expensive of our vehicles - this is my favorite - by far!! I drive a lot and I've put 76K miles on this truck...no issues in performance, or dependability...This truck is wonderful!!!
You have a farm but still have a full time business office right? Just goes to show farming alone is never enough unless you have thousands of hectares you still need a full time or part time job to sustain
@@bekabeka71 it’s a farm for fun…my wife has always loved horses…so I bought this property almost 20 years ago and we raised our 3 kids here - my wife stayed home. They are either currently in college or graduated. Our “farm” is a money going out, not in lol. I’ll probably retire soon and be on a horse all day…😊
I love my 2020 TRD Off-Road, and it's got leather heated seats, surround view camera, and multi terrain monitor system. All available as options. The only real pro exclusives are the shocks, wheels, skid plate, and styling like exclusive annual color, lights, and hood scoop.
Love " look out your window" thank you made me smile a lot. 😁
You can actually get most of the TRD Pro features on the Off Road as options including the leather seats and surround view cameras. I think pretty much the only thing you can't get on the Off Road is the Homelink mirror. Of course once you add all those options to the Off Road it costs pretty much the same as the TRD Pro.
homelink is obsolete, i can open all my garage doors/gates/lights with my phone, from anywhere!!! try doing that Homolink
@@michaelj.kastner5165 Not if you don't have a newish garage door opener. Also you can use homelink to open other things like gates for example. Still very useful and I wouldn't want a car that doesn't have it.
I drive a 2017 TRD Off-road. Love this truck. Never had any problems with it. Sand colored, double cab....
I need the TRD Pro to make it through the Star Bucks drive through:).. Good info! Thanks!
I went with the SR5 and have no regrets
It seems like if off road is most important, then the cheapest 4wd version would be best idea. Then full suspension upgrade and so on and wind up with a better truck for less money. The lowest interior is good enough. I'm talking trucks that will primarily be on dirt roads till wore out.
I have a 21 TRD sport the only thing I'll add is running boards and maybe a bullbar I love that truck I looked at a Ford comparable and could not afford one I only had to wait 2 weeks to get it
Totally agree. The Pro is just an over priced Off Road. When you plan on modifying it, why spend all that extra money on some badges when you can put it into your personal modification choices. Glad TFL sported this video saying the same thing for those that don't think like this. :)
Thanks for breaking this down and explaining the cost saving differences.👍👍
Solid review. Great info and now really considering just going with the offroad package
1:18 That's clean, man!
The TRD Pro hood scope is what got me lol
The Sport has it too.
i found a sport hood in my color at a pick a part
once i lift my Off Road i’ll have a better truck for less money
I have a 2019 Tacoma off-road that bought new and could not agree more. It was a fully loaded with six speed manual, secondary anti-theft device. Seems kind of weird now how manuals are mainly found in upper option vehicles these days but that is the times. You do not get crawl control with the Manual you get the a-trac system. Most of the time 4 low and second gets me up anything I need. Stock tires kinda suck for real off roaring but can get most of it done.
I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 with the TRD-off-road package ! I love it!!! I have all the bells and whistles It drives awesome, EXTREMELY RELIABLE and mine has a bigger 4.0 liter engine than the new Tacoma which has a 3.5 liter engine. I like the dashboard of mine better too. It’s a real beast!!!
I sell Toyota.. There is a TRD Off-Road, with package code OF. That gives you leather, heated seats, power drivers seat, 360° Cameras, Trail Monitor and sunroof.
It is only missed Fox shocks, TRD Pro wheels, front skid plate and Pro badging.
My dad just bought the one you just mentioned for 46 Canaidin
What's the price, though?
Brad Woodring got mine for 45000 Canadian
How much can I get one of those in USD?
It's missing the LED headlamps. You can't beat that new design.
I have the SR 4 door all wheel drive and it gets me everywhere completely stock
My 2020 TRD off-road has the 360° cameras and leather seats. It also has the LED light package too and a moon roof. It also has the TRD skid plate and blackout package (blacked out lettering, black chrome exhaust). It’s basically a TRD Pro minus the FOX suspension and Pro badging. The only reason why I got the off-road was because i didn’t want a hood scoop. I also didn’t need the FOX suspension as the bilstein shocks were plenty good. I’m very happy with my choice 4 months later.
The re-sale value on these Tacoma's especially 2016's with over 30,000 miles are insane!
It makes sense to get the TRD Off Road especially since you can spend that $10k on a better suspension/tire package than what comes on the Pro version. In fact, for $10k you can probably also get an aftermarket front and rear bumper, snorkel, side rails and a trunk rack included.
Just get a TRD PRO instead of wasting your time with add ons…TRD PRO will still be worth more down the road
Snorkel lmao
Know what type of Off-Roading you tend to do 1st. Bought a TRD Off-Road instead of the Pro... With the extra 10k that I saved i used part of it on better Off-Road components. Now it's more complete than a Pro & still have money left over. Many Tacoma owners go this route. Built not Bought
2020 Trd off road premium package with the 6 speed manual, couldn’t be happier with my purchase has everything the pro has without the fox suspense, hood scoop, fresh air intake trd wheels and the pro grill. couple more minor things it’s missing that can be purchased for cheaper aftermarket
The 2020 TRD Offroad does have side camera's and front camera (basically 360 deg view) in their tech package. Basically $1500 more from the Offroad that's shown here.
With 70k miles, my Tacoma TRD Off Road is valued more than the day I bought it new off the lot. Keep posting videos like this. 😉
Seriously? I just picked one up couple of months ago. Would love if this comment were true lol
@@SeanStewart88 go look up used TRD Offroad Tacomas. Many used ones without the premium package are 33 to 36k and they are selling for around those amounts.

Replace those tires! As you may have discovered, the back is SUPER light.
Great video and this is definitely the trim I would outfit. Still, regardless of the trim they have to give it rear disks and take it over 300 ponies with over 300lb/ft. TQ. They have done the disks on the 4Runner for years why not on the Taco?
That's exactly what I did in February. I bought a TRD OR instead of a TRD Pro, I didn't NEED the pro but wanted the multi-terrain system. I got it in white and the only option I got on it was the LED Headlights, I got it with rebates and bought it for $38,100 OTD. The only aftermarket thing I did was put a headache rack on and put offroad lights on the bumper. That's it.
Glad you mentioned the bed size options with the OR compared to the Pro. I also wish it was possible to delete some things in the Pro. For instance, the subwoofer takes up one of the only good storage spots inside the cab. And the rear bumper sensors must be disabled if you want to replace the rear bumper. You also don't get much choice of colors with the Pro.
The Subwoofer is still an add on, just don’t get it. I didn’t know about the rear bumper sensors… damn.

Great review, been waiting for one of a 'regular' Tacoma. But a couple of misleading points! You can get the panoramic camera with the Advanced Tech Package, and the LED lights with the LED headlight package. Makes the Off Road more appealing at that price point than a Pro.
I have a stock 2019 TRD Off Road. It’s pretty awesome. My main complaint is the headlights.
It’s more than capable for what 99% of people are doing. I am going to upgrade the lighting, and some light underbody protection. That’s about it though.
A lot of the features you mentioned including leather seats can also get in the premium TRD off-road.. I have them all! I got all tech and premium packages.. you can also get the LED headlight and fog lights LED packages on 2020 and above.

Thanks, Andre, for a review aimed more towards the budget-conscious (aka broke) truck buyer. And you are absolutely right - why pay for all that stuff if 90% of the capability can be had at a relative bargain. Next, how do the Pro and the Off-Road compare to a BASE Taco 4x4?
If you look it up online, you will find there is no "BASE Taco 4x4" in 2020. You have to buy a TRD Off-Road to get 4WD. That is their entry level 4WD truck now. (Since this original post, it has been said I was wrong. But I swear at the time I posted this, I spent a great deal of time making sure I did not mislead. For some reason, the Toyota web sight was not giving me an option on the lesser trims such as the SR5 to build or spec it out with a 4WD system, which even I thought that was extremely odd. So apologies for the post being inaccurate. And I am leaving this up just so you know, I was not trying to mislead and it is not my fault! lol.)
WW on the 2021 Taco Build & Price page you can get a SR5 with 4x4
John Leslie yes, the trd sport 4x4
@@WW-wf8tu the SR, SR5 and TRD sport are all available as a 4x4. In the SR you can even get a 4 cylinder engine with that. I have a 2020 sr5 v6 4x4. It has Hitichi shocks in place of the Bilstien and no crawl control.
@@MrMikey1273 That's what I was attempting to confirm before I replied to John. But yah, it would not spec/build it out that way for me. I tried over and over to force it to give me the 4x4 options. And it botched it all up making me think there was not even a 4x4 option anymore. It's not my fault I swear. lol.
This talked me into the TRD pro 100%... well ok I'm still considering a Raptor too but the Off-Road is officially off the table. Thanks for the info.
Totally agree. I bought a 2020 4runner TRD premium vs the Pro. Using that money saved for my own upgrades.

Toyota don't offer technology... Fan boy's only. Need to look at other to see what your actually missing. Like factory power lock tailgate... Don't require key
I bought the off-road recently. Has more the what I’ll ever use it for. Great truck.
I have a 2017 Tacoma SR 4X2 Double-Cab 2.7L 4-Banger, and It has been an Impressive Mid-Size Truck. Does everything I ask it to do for Daily Driving, though I have not taken it off-road yet. I do appreciate Toyota having different trims for different individuals and preferences, but I would advise for people on a Budget to look at a Base SR Tacoma sometime. It may just be everything you need without all the Gimmicks and Extra Stuff!
My dad has an 05 Tacoma Trd off road, and it’s really good off road, so I’m sure that the new ones just fine
The one thing not mentioned here, and I wish I had known, is the difference in gearing between the automatic and manual trans. The automatic is geared waaaay too tall. Both 5th and 6th gears are overdrive. On top of that, the automatic truck's diffs are 3.9 vs 4.3 on the manual version. Unless you're going 70mph downhill, you'll never see 6th gear. This also means that 1st is way too tall. I'm in the process of regearing mine to 5.29. Sounds crazy.....but this will still give a final drive gear ratio in 6th that is similar to the manual.
And yes, the Pro version is very overpriced. Save the money, buy the Offroad and upgrade the suspension and tires to your liking and still get the locking rear diff and crawl control. That's what I did.
Are you saying manual then is better than the automatic?
I agree especially since I do a lot of extreme off roaring$ I’ll save the $10,000 & use it for better shocks, tires, skid plate & maybe a lift! I’ve owned 4 Toyota Tacoma’s & at 67 years old still love ve for my 4by4 off road adventures! Tacoma’s are by far the best, but forget the pro & get the satisfaction of building your own personal off raider! Thank you for the update , very informative video!
Smart move, I as will do the same! It will be my 4th Toyota Tacoma, I have never been let down with any of my trucks, doing a lot of pretty tough 4 wheeling as well!
TRD PRO... best purchase of my life
Same here.. In manual transmission ❤️
Love my 21 White Pro, Love the Firm yet Soft ride. Runs great,Stereo is good. Its a keeper !!
What I got.
I like this style video. Comparing different trims for different uses
Hope it will still be nice when I can finally afford to buy one used in 8 years. It’d be cool to see base model reviews. I just want to throw payload in the back and go down the road reliably with basic comforts like heat and air. Never had much use for any of these extra price hike features.
Same thing for me. Wish they would bring the Hilux over. Best Toyota I have ever driven.
How did we ever get by without cameras on every corner.
I just got my 2020 TRD off-road with absolutely not options on it in voodoo blue and I absolutely love it! Out the door under 35k as well.
In what city and state did you get this great deal, here in Salinas California that exact same truck goes for almost 45k out the door
@@jaimeruvalcaba9968 in SoCal is about the same price
How about a TFL PRO edition!
You can get the 360 view, the Tacoma you're reviewing doesn't have that package.
Was going to post the same thing. I test drove a 2020 off road in June and it had the surround view camera
This could maybe be the best budget midsize off road pickup. Hay Andre how about a video of Trd off road vs Ranger Fx4 vs Canyon At4. And the Gladiator trim model that is under the Rubicon.
Good review .my favorite truck.Budy please go and get a physical check up with yours doctor .this is for your heart.love you guys.keep up the good work .
I love my long bed TRD OR.
I want long bed manual!
I Bought a 2014 Tundra SR5 5.7 4x4 crew max with the TRD off road package. Best way to go. Saves thousands and build it up your way
The forward and side view mirror downward facing cameras are available as an option (Advanced Technology Package) on the Off Road. Same is true of the headlights as an option.
SR5, access cab long bed.
why not just buy the 2021 Toyota Tacoma Trail edition ??? army green or cement 👍👍👍
I purchased my 2020 OR with Advanced Tech Package and it has the LED headlights (identical except for not saying TRD PRO), 360 camera, and leather. It was also only $39k. You also can purchase the terribly-thin TRD skid as an option, but I went with real steel skids.
I got a TRD offroad with a manual. I could have gone for the pro, but like you said, the offroad is better for people who mod thier vehicles. The only thing I own with wheels that I havent modded is my lawn mower.
Hey Toyota why don't you offer the offroad long bed in Canada?
Because it makes for a worse off road vehicle compared to the short bed!?
