I love that you use both high end and cheaper 'drugstore' products. it's evident that you value the integrity of the product as opposed to it's branding, which is extremely refreshing in the realm of youtube. Thanks for your continuous efforts in making entertaining and helpful videos

Make sure you are concealing your under eye area well otherwise the dark shadow will only further highlight any darkness you have there. If you are using powder shadows they can drop down and create a dirty smudge under the eye which can make you look tired and the make-up look bad. Clean any drop down away and re-apply concealer to keep the area bright X

I literally JUST recreated this look and it was effortless and I found a few slightly cheaper alternatives for those who live in the states!
For the Cheeks I used a LITTLE bit of Wet n' Wild Mellow Wine and for the eyes I used NYX eye pencil in black brown, which I think is only slightly darker than the Bobbi Brown pencil Lisa used if blended really well. They have tons of warmer brown shades for fairer skin tones. For a little bit extra I blended a matte black eyeshadow by the upper lashline.

Beautiful! Love this type of make-up. You have really helped me with the proper application of make-up to my eye brows. I followed your instructions to brush my eye brows down and then apply the brow powder--then brush my eye brows back up. It is a perfect way to get natural looking eye brows. Thank you for all your tutorials. I know you have helped a lot of people. Have a lovely day!

Update. This is what the Bobbi Brown chat explained: Regrettably, Bittersweet Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick was a limited edition shade. Bark Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick is the recommended alternative.

Lisa, from the bottom of my heart.. thank you so much for not using a bazillion products and making it seem as though if I don’t bronze, contour, highlight, bake etc then I’m not doing makeup right.
RUclips and Instagram has been really exhausting and I’ve found myself constantly worried about going outside because I’m not “ doing my makeup right”
I’m more of a tinted moisturiser, brows, cream blush and cream eyeshadow kinda girl.
Thank you for allowing me, to be me.

That was fantastic and easy! Thanks Lisa, I'll be giving it a try. I was wondering if you had any tips as to not look washed out at work. I always seem to manage to look washed out once I get into the office and get greeted with the fluorescent lights. I have medium/beige-ish skin tone with dark brown hair, which I think makes me look washed out when it frames my face if my makeup is light.

Love watching your video's. You have so much grace about you, that I find it such a pleasure to watch & hopefully learn from you. Everything you do is beautiful. This is a great look, looks easy enough as well. I have hooded, sagging eyelids, I really have a tough time trying to get all my shadows to look nice. I prefer just simple natural looks, want something to make my brown eyes pop without using crazy colors. I love the browns, taupes, but those seem to look washed out, any suggestions?

However,I do have some problems with smokey eyes, even with such suttle ones.. I always look very worn out, tired and a littel "dirty" after a few hours. This is a general problem i have with all kinds of make up, which,I guess, has something to do with my skin and complexion, but it is worst with smokey eyes and bold lips. Do you have any advice? :)
