Man this was my favorite thing to eat when my uncle and aunt would visit from Taiwan. They’d make it several times when they were here for a month or two. I never asked what it was and until maybe 25 years later did I realize it was pork belly. Loved it with braised egg too.

Can I cook this dish using la gourmet pressure cooker?
Haloo, Want to ask if Light soy sauce Using another brand, does it not taste the same?
Looks very good, will
Try it this week.
you had me at 6 ingredients
Tips for improvement:
Ginger can be added earlier tgt with the pork to rls the ginger aroma and also to take away any odour
Sugar itself will caramelise and hence u do not need to thicken with starch solution, just need to let the sauce evaporate abit more
👌👌👌 thanks, Amos!
Tried. Never tasted this before. Can't buy outside too
