Jimmy, just wanted to thank you for your videos and advice to keep things simple. Last year I was a low to mid 90s player that sometimes shot the odd 89. I played 3 times this week at my local course and scored an 85, 84 and a personal best 82. Your swing tips just work. Your game management tips just work. I found if you stop being hard on yourself and just play with love for the game, the game will love you back and reward you. I'm looking forward to my first sub 80 round sometime soon. Thanks for all you do.
Jimmy, thanks so much for making this simple. There are millions of videos here with a lot of technique, which never helped me to play better... What you're showing is what we have to do. Do you ever use more than a 7 iron? What about woods or hybrids? Thanks! You are Great !
Hey Jimmy. I'm 77, still can't play golf well. But I'd rather be like that than 55 and having my lung cut out. Life is more important than golf (just). Please stop smoking and live to instruct future generations. Addicted to your videos, but they will not kill me. Cheers. Ted
Jimmy, u had me rolling with... ur probably going to miss the birdie putt anyway. Excellent tutorials keep it simple. You're a very skilled golfer and you should have so many more subs. Keep up the great content. Thanks
Jimmy great tips keeping it simple you have helped my game improve do much thank you I’m playing the best golf my scores reflect my improvement my last round only bogies and pars with one double bogey I played great because of your help thank you so much
Great video, thanks Jimmy. I was looking for your similar video to this where you described "hands in concrete". Last time I watched that video it made a huge difference in my consistency, so glad you made another one.
great playing today Jimmy. I had a nice 41 => every hole was putting for par as you preach (if I putted like you did in this video, I'd have been 37 or 38). Quiet hands for straight shots are key, was hitting my wedges dead straight, really helps.
Fantastic info ! has really helped on the short backswing, 3 wood position on ball placement towards rear of stance could you do more showing hands at address my shots doing this are going to the right, keep up the great videos, thanks
Great videos Jimmy. Many thanks.despite the fact I'm Scottish my inner golf voice sounds just like you. ! "Get in the hot tub" etc. And now you are tempting me to start smoking cigars again after over 20 years since giving up. You need to try some Scotch whisky first. Maybe a Glenmorangie orThe Macallan ..a nice single malt to compliment your Noblezas.
Jimmy like on your chipping video do you try to keep the V in the normal swing? I had a lesson recently and the theme was casting the club out too early in my swing and trying to control this by leading with my right elbow? It feels horrific but i suppose is it just the same as keeping the V?
Thx Jimmy great video. Yes people today!. I enjoy a cigar out there keeps my sanity 😂 from people cutting the course, people making up league play, and what else you can think of. 😂
Totally needed to see this! My bad habit is roling the wrists open. I devloped this as a baseball player. What about on longer clubs? With wider back swings wouldnt the hand naturally roll open?
You can only swing as far as your left arm extends. Keep your left wrist flat and bring the hands through with your palms square and your clubface is square. Many amateurs try to hold that forward shaft lean instead of letting the club release, and so we get the "roll the forearms" tip, but in reality it's just the wrists naturally hinging.
Hey Jimmy - Every once in a while I get into this period where I chunk the ball, minimizing follow through resulting in lost distance. I can hit the ball well 5 holes, and then all of a sudden I’m delivering the club head on too much of downward angle. How do I stop this from happening?
Turning the shoulders and turning the shoulders again as you say, seems to work really well with my driver and woods in general. But with short irons, there is no power unless I use a bit of wrist hinge….
Golf game Recipe Jimmy ; U mentioned it …. The game you play is like Keto. Hahaaaa. Lotta meat 🥩, very low carb. No rice, No pasta, No bread …. But LoTTTsSaa Buttuuuhh!!!!! Keep those videos coming Have a safe and delightful Labor Day upcoming. 🤙🏾
K. I normally hit a fade with long clubs above 7I and keep thinking ball position wrong or not turning enough on time. Was just hopeful for your insight to correct it.
@@JeffPassageCPA golf happens. Practice at home. Get your left shoulder past the ball on the backswing then make sure you get to a full balanced finish. You’ll get your distance back

YOU THE MAN Jimmy.
A very valuable lesson to all golfers. Side note: Via Verde is not looking so hot. The local park grass looks better 😂

I'm looking to consistently shoot lower scores, not make the tour. These tips work!!

Is this a good idea for all clubs? I love your channel and the k.i.s.s theory has helped.i am high handicap but its lowering. Keep it up
Jimmy...you have helped me so much. Thanks!

Jimmy, how does this (or does it) mesh with “wave to the camera”? Does one interfere with the other or do they work at the same time?
Totally needed to see this! My bad habit is roling the wrists open. I devloped this as a baseball player. What about on longer clubs? With wider back swings wouldnt the hand naturally roll open?
SILENCE of the hands. No matter the club, the less you do the less you have to correct
You can only swing as far as your left arm extends. Keep your left wrist flat and bring the hands through with your palms square and your clubface is square. @@indianajim what about at the top of the back swing, should the wrists hinge at all?

You junk the ball because the ball is too far forward in your stance. Move it back and your problems will be gone.
I always turn you off when the cigar commercial begins.

200 yards avec un fer 7😢 super explication, je vais essayer👏mais il y a un paramètre essentiel: la vitesse du club pour envoyer la balle à 200 yards😳😀
Where has manolo been jimmy?
All over the world
Jimmy, you normally hit a fade. What were you doing wrong then?
When I consciously try to keep my hands quiet, the ball goes straight. In my normal swing, the club may open one or 2° causing a 3 to 5 yard fate
K. I normally hit a fade with long clubs above 7I and keep thinking ball position wrong or not turning enough on time. Was just hopeful for your insight to correct it.
Let the Beard GROW!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
I played 9 holes on Friday and shot 58. I couldn't hit 1 shot over 100 yards. I keep trying your swing advice, though.
Were you topping the ball? Or chunking it?
@@TropicanaEntertainment Neither. Trying to swing smooth. Just couldn't get any distance. It was the worst I have played in 15 years.
